Abstract

To improve the efficiency of electric bike, it takes a regenerative braking system to replace the mechanical braking system for regenerative braking can convert the kinetic energy to be dumped into heat through the brake into electrical energy that can be used to charge the battery. To realize this tool, it takes a bicycle, engine direct current brushless, three-phase uncontrolled rectifier, boost converter, a battery, and a controller. Braking torque on the engine influenced by the current output of the machine. The regenerative braking system is controlled by a microcontroller which will vary in value dutycycle boost converter so that the value of the input current boost converter is always directly proportional to the output current value of the machine can be changed.Based on test results obtained average energy of 0.0048360 Wh for the initial speed of 30 km / h and 0.0100300 Wh for the initial speed of 40 km / h with the engine inertia loads only. Keywords : Regenerative braking, direct current brushless machine, rectifier, boost converters, controllers, batteries, bicycles.

Abstract

This paper examines the effect of bank lending on liquidity. We use the loan-to-deposit ratio as a proxy for liquidity and total loan as a proxy for bank lending. We also consider the measurement of liquidity with non-performing loans (NPL) and return on assets (ROA) as control variables. The sample used is the banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as many as 42 banks with a total of 184 observations from unbalanced panel data. The analysis used is panel data regression (generalized least squares) with random effects as the best estimation model. We find bank lending to have a positive effect on liquidity, especially for banks that go public. We argue that banks avoid bankruptcy by increasing the proportion of reserves to absorb risk. The results support the “risk absorption” hypothesis (Berger Bouwman, 2009). We also find that return on assets (ROA) has a significant effect on liquidity, but non-performing loans (NPL) have no significant effect on liquidity, proving that banks has managed their reserves by absorbing risk properly.

Abstract

The implementation of the COVID-19 protocol was carried out as part of an effort to revive the economy that slumped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Public awareness in implementing COVID-19 protocols is important in the New Normal life rules. This service activity helps the community to carry out an independent assessment of the risk of spreading and transmitting the COVID-19 virus. Also, it provides education and raises awareness to the public regarding health protocols. This method uses the InaRISK Personal application developed by the National Disaster Management Agency or Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB). The community as respondents is helped to obtain an independent assessment by filling in the answers to the questionnaire into the InaRISK Personal application. The results showed that 57.2% had low-risk status, 40.3% medium risk, and 2.5% high-risk status. Some of the behaviors that have the potential to increase the risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus are 89% of respondents touching money and 86.3% traveling for the risk of contracting outside the home, 55.5% of respondents do not provide hand sanitizers at home for the risk of contracting at home, 46, 8% of respondents did not drink vitamins C and E and lack of sleep for risks related to immunity. The conclusion is that the public still needs to increase awareness in carrying out health protocols to reduce the risk of spreading and transmitting the COVID-19 virus.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v5i3.5004

Abstract

Merjosari Village in Malang, which used to be still an agricultural area, has gradually narrowed due to the large number of housing developments by developers. This has an impact on reduced agricultural output, especially chili and tomatoes. Farmers and laborers are unemployed because of the decreasing number of their agricultural lands. The program aims to provide training on the use of mushroom waste in the form of grajen into worm breeding media, program implementation methods by providing outreach programs, training, and providing worm culture facilities and infrastructure for farmers. The results of the program show that farmers and laborers in Merjosari Village can carry out their own cultivation of the lumbricus rubellus worm by utilizing mushroom baglog waste (grajen). The results of the worm cultivation can be sold in the form of worms that can be used as animal feed, birds / poultry, fish, shrimp and so on, the basic ingredients of cosmetics and medicines, and worm feces (vermicompost) used for high-quality organic fertilizers, especially for plants such as flowers and fruit. For farmers and other communities, this program can create self-employment opportunities (entrepreneurship), improve the economy and family welfare, participate in maintaining the balance of ecosystems and the environment.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v5i2.4407

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic initiates the emergence of the social distancing concept and the implementation of health protocols. This also happens in worship places, which are public places and are at risk of spreading the Covid-19 virus. For such reason, strict health protocols need to be carried out when washing hands with hand sanitizer. The use of hand sanitizers is believed to be able to kill viruses well, but manual spraying can increase the spread of the virus. This program aims to make automatic hand sanitizer spraying devices placed in front of the Attawwaabiin Mosque entrance, Pisang Candi Village, Malang City. The implementation method consisted of program observation and the manufacture of an automatic hand sanitizer spraying device, including the preparation of tools and components, the assembly stage, the trial and repair stage, and the stage of providing tools to partners. The result of this program is a tool that is specially assembled so that the spraying of hand sanitizer can be done automatically without touching other media so that it can help reduce the spread of the virus so that the congregation of the mosque can carry out their worship with a sense of security and comfort.

Abstract

This study describes and analyzes women workers related to their income and contribution to family income in the household clothing industry. This is based on the reason that in the clothing industry the average working hours are longer than in other home industries. Women workers, especially those with families, when women work in the public sector are required to be able to divide their time between work and family. Women workers in the clothing sector work in an effort to increase family income, in order to cover the costs of daily needs. Most of the female workers are married, with the majority aged 21 to 40 years and with an average secondary education. The motivation of women workers in the clothing industry is mostly to increase family income. The additional income obtained from a working wife is certainly an important factor that is expected to reduce the burden on the family when the perceived price level is getting higher. The working time of women workers in the clothing industry is approximately 7 hours per day. The wage system is carried out every week every day. The income of female workers is relatively high, with the majority ranging from Rp. 71,000-80,000 per week. The income of married women workers shows that their income has a significant contribution to the increase in family income.

Abstract

The Covid-19 epidemic has led to significant transformations in the financial performance of Indonesia's banking sector. Weak economic indicators have resulted in reduced bank capital due to inadequate working capital loans. This study aims to investigate alterations in the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) of Indonesia's state-owned banks during the Covid-19 pandemic. The dataset is derived from the quarterly financial reports of state-owned banks spanning the period 2020-2021. Our findings establish a relationship between bank lending, non-performing loans (NPLs), and CAR. Under the prevailing circumstances, a considerable decline in credit and a noteworthy upsurge in NPLs emerged starting from the third quarter of 2020, with a slight increase persisting into the third quarter of 2021. In contrast, the capital adequacy ratio exhibits a tendency towards stability, attributed to governmental reinforcement of bank capital. We also prove that bank lending has a positive impact on CAR, whereas NPLs have a negative impact on CAR. The research underscores the state-owned banks' ability to consistently and securely maintain the CAR, further emphasizing that this prudent safeguarding mechanism ensures a continuous capital enhancement in conjunction with lending growth, all the while upholding the regulatory norms of the banking industry.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of capital structure and firm size on firm value with profitability as a moderating variable. This study is a quantitative study using secondary data with a sample of 9 pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data collection method is done by accessing the company's financial statements published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data obtained is then processed using the tools e-views. This analysis includes classical assumption test (data normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test), statistical test (F-test, t-test and R2 test) and moderated regression analysis (MRA). Based on the results of the tests conducted, it shows that simultaneously shows that there is a significant influence between capital structure and firm size on firm value. Partially, Capital Structure (DER) has a significant effect on firm value (EPS), Firm Size (SIZE) has no significant effect on firm value, Profitability (ROA) as a moderating variable can moderate or strengthen the relationship between Capital Structure (DER) and Firm Value ( EPS) but unable to moderate the effect of Firm Size (SIZE) on Firm Value (EPS).
