Abstract

The quality of education is considered low by many groups. One of the factors that influence this is the ability of teachers as educators. The enthusiasm for teacher performance is influenced by several factors, including the academic supervision of supervisors, school principals, and the social emotional influence of school principals. This study aims to, describe the relationship of school academic supervision. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. Samples were obtained from 90 teachers at 14 public elementary schools in Kota Masohi District. The technique used is a closed questionnaire. The method used is data analysis. The results of the analysis show that: School academic supervision is in the moderate category (83%), Socio-emotional competence is in the category (76%), Teacher performance is in the moderate category (82%). There is a positive and significant relationship between the academic supervision of school supervisors, social emotional competence and teacher performance so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Conclusion of school academic supervision, Teacher social emotional competence with the performance of teachers of 14 public elementary schools in Masohi City, It still has to be done optimally to achieve the target of supervision. Suggestions from the results of this study the supervision of school academic supervisors and teachers' social emotional competence involves teachers actively in the process of implementing and developing programs, and making decisions related to the development of teacher performance competencies.

Abstract

Teaching Factory (TeFa) merupakan suatu model pembelajaran pengintegrasian seluruh proses menciptakan barang dan jasa yang ada di dunia usaha dan industri ke pembelajaran di sekolah. Untuk melaksanakan itu, diperlukan adanya peran seorang kepala sekolah dalam memanagenya sehingga tercipta Teaching Factory (TeFa) yang berkualitas. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui peran kepala sekolah dalam merencanakan, mengorganisasikan, melaksanakan dan mengawasi serta mendeskripsika peran kepala sekolah sebagai seorang motivator dalam memberikan dorongan dan semangat kepada para guru untuk melaksanakan serta mengembangkan Teaching Factory (TeFa) di SMK Pusat Keunggulan yang ada di Kota Ambon. Dimana Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, baik pada SMK Negeri 5 Ambon mapun SMK Muhammadiyah Ambon, peran kepala sekolah dalam merencanakan, mengorganisasikan, melaksanakan, mengawasi dan menjadi motivator dalam memberikan dorongan dan semangat bagi para guru dalam mengembangkan Teaching Factory dilakukan dengan sangat baik yakni melalui pengkondisian sekolah dan pengkondisian Teaching Factory. Pada pengkondisian sekolah, kepala sekolah memastikan bahwa lingkungan pendukung pelaksanaan Teaching Factory yakni lahan parkir, tempat pembuangan limbah, tempat produksi dan sebagainya dalam kondisi yang baik. Sedangkan pada pengkondisian Teaching Factory, kepala sekolah memastikan adanya stuktur organisasi Teaching Factory dengan masing-masing pembagian tugas, kualitas produk, permintaan pasar, survei pasar, arah pasar yang dituju hingga mekanisme evaluasi dan rencana tindak lanjut. Oleh sebab itu, demi kelangsungan dan kelancaran pelaksanaan Teaching Factory, seluruh elemen yang ada di sekolah sangatlah diharapkan kerjasamanya dengan koordinasi yang efektif.

Abstract

Teacher performance, the form of behavior referred to by the teacher's activities in the learning process. can be seen when he carries out teaching and learning interactions in class including his preparation both in the form of semester programs and teaching preparation. With regard to the importance of evaluating teacher performance. This study aims to evaluate the performance of certified teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Ambon City. This research was conducted as a qualitative descriptive study with the research subjects being the principal, vice principal, and 5 certified teachers. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. As for the subject of this research is the head of the school and teachers. The results of this study are well structured, this is evident. Planning for the performance of certification teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Ambon generally plans according to the provisions, the implementation of certification teacher performance is directed at a good learning process and supervision is carried out with a supervisory system, namely supervisor supervision and functional supervision. Supervision is carried out directly by the school principal and functional supervision is carried out by the school supervisor. Based on the results of the evaluation of the performance evaluation of teacher certification at SMP Negeri 4 Ambon City which was implemented in reality it was going well, but there were also obstacles, namely the learning process had not been carried out and there had to be more improvement for better school progress in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate certified teachers in preparing and planning lessons, evaluating certified teachers in managing classrooms, evaluating certified teachers in carrying out the learning process, evaluating certified teachers for their responsibilities and professionals in learning. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Lolong Guba, SD Negeri 4 Lolong Guba, SD Negeri 5 Lolong Guba, SD Al-Hilaal Wabloy and SD Al-Hilaal Italahin involving 2 teachers in each school. The overall results of the evaluation of Charlotte Danielson model-certified teachers at SD Negeri 2 Lolong Guba domain 1 are (100%) very good category, domain 2 is (96.5%) very good category, domain 3 is (86.5%) very good category and domain 4 is (97%) very good category. SD Negeri 4 Lolong Guba domain 1 is (100%) very good category, domain 2 is (96.5%) very good category, domain 3 is (76.5%) good category, domain 4 is (94%) very good category. SD Negeri 5 Lolong Guba domain 1 is (100%) very good category, domain 2 is (90%) very good category, domain 3 is (76.5%) good category and domain 4 is (94%) very good category. SD Al-Hilaal Wabloy domain 1 is (100%) very good category, domain 2 is (80%) good category, domain 3 is (70%) sufficient category and domain 4 is (94%) very good category. SD Al-Hilaal Italahin domain 1 is (63.5%) category is good enough, domain 2 is (70%) category is good enough, domain 3 is (67%) category is quite good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the behavioral orientation of school principals and discipline leadership with the work motivation of teachers in junior high schools on the island of Buano. The research method used in this research is quantitative research. From this data it can be concluded that: 1) There is a relationship between the leadership behavior of school principals and teachers' work motivation because the significant value is < 0.05 or 0.150 < 0.05. The value of the Pearson correlation is 0.912, which means that there is a degree of relationship at very low correlation. 2) There is a relationship between work discipline and teacher motivation because the significant value is <0.05 or 0.00 <0.05. The value of the Pearson correlation is 0.873, which means that there is a high degree of correlation. 3) There is a positive and significant relationship between the principal's leadership behavior and work discipline with the teacher's work motivation because the significant value is <0.05. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship simultaneously between the leadership behavior of school principals and work discipline with teacher work motivation. so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

Management information systems in education are a series of links between human resources and information technology applications that are used to store, process and retrieve data in order to support the decision-making process in the field of education. This research aims to determine the implementation and level of effectiveness of the school package management information system as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the use of the SIM-PAS school application in elementary schools in Kei Kecil District, Southeast Maluku Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, using observation techniques, interviews, documentation and data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. /verification). The results of the research show that the role of all stackholders in developing the implementation of the school application package management information system (SIM-PAS) in elementary schools in Kei Kecil District is really needed starting from planning, organizing, controlling and directing in developing the use of the assessment application package management information system in order to create change and can impart the knowledge they have to other schools in Southeast Maluku Regency.

Abstract

The school mover program focuses on holistically developing student learning outcomes, including competency (literacy and numeracy) and character, starting with the formation of superior human resources (school principals and teachers). Running this program requires the effectiveness of a leader who can inspire, transferring the vision of educational institutions through school programs and school culture so that they can impact the quality of education in school mover. This research aims to 1) describe the transformational leadership of school principals who are senior high school movers in Sirimau District, Ambon City. 2) Describe the implementation of school culture for senior high school movers in Sirimau District, Ambon City. 3) Describe teachers' performance as senior high school movers in Sirimau District, Ambon City. 4) test the significance level and direction of the influence of the principal’s transformational leadership on teachers' performance at the senior high school mover in Sirimau District, Ambon City.5) test the significance level and direction of the influence of the school culture's influence on teachers' performance at the senior high school mover in Sirimau District, Ambon City. 6) test the level of significance of the influence of the principal’s transformational leadership and school culture on teachers' performance at senior high school mover in Sirimau District, Ambon City. This research used an associative method with a quantitative approach. The data collection tool was a questionnaire distributed to school principals and all teachers at the senior high school mover in Sirimau District, Ambon City. The population in this study was 200 people, and using random sampling techniques. A research sample of 133 people was obtained. The data analysis techniques were descriptive and inferential statistics (simple linear regression test and multiple linear regression). The research results of the descriptive analysis showed that the principal's transformational leadership, school culture and teachers performance at the senior high school mover in Sirimau District, Ambon City, are in the high category. Meanwhile, based on the results of hypothesis testing, it showed that there is a significant and positive influence between the principal's transformational leadership on teachers performance (21.1%), there is a significant and positive influence between school culture on teachers' performance (30.2%), and there is a significant and positive influence between the principal's transformational leadership and school culture together on teachers performance (32.9%).

Abstract

Learning should be a meaningful activity, namely the liberation to actualize the full potential of students' humanity, transforming the value of knowledge in a meaningful context and easy to implement in real life, not the other way around. Differentiated learning is learning that is rooted in fulfilling the needs of students both in terms of learning readiness, interests, or learning profiles and how teachers respond to learning needs. One of the problems in the world of education, especially Elementary Schools in Amahai District, has been the weak innovation in learning. This study aims to explain (1) Planning for differentiated learning, (2) Mechanisms taken in creating, formulating, and implementing differentiated learning, (3) Monitoring and effectiveness of differentiated learning, and (4) Supporting and inhibiting factors for differentiated learning at Elementary Schools in Amahai District, Maluku Tengah Regency. The result of this research showed that: (1) Lesson plan was conducted by mapping the learning needs of students for knowing the students’ learning need. Afterwards, they worked together to formulate the Operational Curriculum Education Unit (KOSP) in order to create and determine the flow of learning objectives. Then, teachers established a Learning Community to prepare learning tools such as Lesson Plans (RPP), and Learning Modules. (2) The implementation was conducted through the understanding comprehensively of Merdeka Curriculum knowledge so that the teachers understood and realized the concept, method and strategy in differentiated learning. The mechanisms for creating, formulating and implementing differentiated learning was that teachers implemented learning by using differentiated strategy in content, process, product and learning environment . (3) The School Principal's monitoring role in fulfilling tasks and leadership responsibilities effectively in differentiated learning included: the availability of Merdeka Curriculum Textbooks, creating facilities and infrastructure for supporting differentiated learning, and the participation of teachers in workshops, socialization, and training as avenues for professional development. (4) Supporting factors included training and workshop for teachers’ mover, the next was the support from the school principal, school committee, and parents. Additionally, the supported environment and the cooperation among teachers in Teacher Work Group (KKG) in the implementation of differentiated learning. The obstacles factors covered limited time for completing differentiated learning and an insufficient number of learning resources provided by the school to meet learning needs.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1). Describing the pedagogic competence of State High School teachers in Dobo City, Aru Islands Regency. 2) Describe the academic supervision of State High School teachers in Dobo City, Aru Islands Regency. 3). Describe the performance of State High School teachers in Dobo City, Aru Islands Regency. 4). To find out whether there is a relationship between pedagogic competence and the performance of State High School teachers in Dobo City, Aru Islands Regency. 5). To find out whether there is a relationship between academic supervision and the performance of State High School teachers in Dobo City, Aru Islands Regency. 6). To find out whether there is a relationship between pedagogic competence and academic supervision simultaneously with the performance of State High School teachers in Aru Islands Regency. The research population was state high schools in the city of Dobo, namely SMA Negeri 1 Kepuluan Aru and SMA Negeri 3 Aru Islands with a total of 56 teachers as respondents. The research results found a positive and significant relationship between pedagogical competence and teacher performance with a correlation value of 0.428 and a significance value of 0.001. There is a positive and significant relationship between academic supervision and teacher performance with a correlation value of 0.382 and a significance value of 0.004. There is a positive and significant relationship between pedagogical competence and academic supervision together with teacher performance with a correlation value of 0.510 and a significance value of 0.000

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of principal leadership and management on teacher job satisfaction in schools under the auspices of the Yayasan Cendekia Maluku and Yayasan As-Salam Ambon. This study is a quantitative study with an ex post facto design, involving 111 respondents as samples. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that principal leadership has a positive and significant influence on teacher job satisfaction. Likewise, principal management also has a significant influence on teacher job satisfaction. In addition, principal leadership and management simultaneously have a significant influence on teacher job satisfaction. The conclusion of this study is that the better the principal leadership and management, the higher the teacher job satisfaction, and vice versa.
