Abstract

This research is to determine the impact of the implementation of social media as a learning media in particular. Field facts where the use of social media in the form of the internet in Indonesia shows that the development of technology has progressed rapidly. Not a few schools and universities in Indonesia that utilize technological advances as one of the media in learning, one of which is Islamic religious education. The author then by applying qualitative method, with a literature study examines the impact of the use of social media in learning Islamic religious education, both about positive and negative effects. This is also motivated by the use of social media which is recently used by students. Social media has a positive influence on socialization among its users but can also have a bad effect in real life. This then causes changes in the ability of children in learning and understanding the teaching material of Islamic religious education, both in the form of academic abilities or personality.

Abstract

This research is to determine the effect of memorizing the Qur'an Juz 30 on the learning outcomes of PAI Class VII subjects in SMP Negeri 2 Anak Ratu Aji Academic Year 2021/2022. This research is a quantitative type with the research population of students of SMP Negeri 2 Anak Ratu Aji with research subjects 29 students in class VII. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and questionnaire. It is known that students with memorization of Al-Qur'an Juz 30 out of 29 respondents are known to have 5 students with low categories of 17.3 %, 10 students with moderate categories of 34.4 %, high categories of 14 students with a percentage of 48.3 %. For learning outcomes of PAI subjects in grade VII students from 29 respondents, 9 students were known to be 31 %, 8 students with moderate categories of 27.6 %, and as many as 12 students entered in a high category of 41.4 %. The results showed f? 0.4896, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the implementation of the memorization of the Qur'an Juz 30 on student learning outcomes in PAI subjects.

Abstract

Seeing global developments and culture, women have been positioned as the common people of men. Indonesia, as a country whose majority population is Muslim, is therefore appropriate to provide special protection for women to carry out activities in public as long as they do not forget their duties as women. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method with research subjects of female and female students from the Asshidqu Kuningan Islamic boarding school with a population of 50 and a sample of 25 where data was collected using observation and questionnaires. The results of observations and questionnaires show that there are 30% of santri who work and 20% of santriwan who do the same work, then 15% of the sample of santriwan and 10% of the sample of santriwati. So the activities of santriwan and female students at the Asshidqu Islamic boarding school are almost the same.

Abstract

The integration of digital technology into Islamic education has created new opportunities for enhancing students’ religious literacy while simultaneously presenting challenges related to the management of learning processes. This study examines how digital-based learning is strategically managed in a madrasah located in North Lampung, Indonesia, with a particular focus on its role in fostering critical and contextual understanding of Islamic teachings. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research explores institutional planning, classroom implementation, and evaluative practices as interconnected processes shaping digital learning. The findings reveal that digital learning is most effective when supported by structured management, where leadership plays a central role in aligning technological use with educational objectives. In classroom practices, digital media facilitates more interactive and participatory learning, enabling students to engage with religious content beyond rote memorization. Furthermore, evaluative practices emphasize students’ ability to interpret, relate, and critically respond to Islamic teachings in contemporary contexts. The study highlights that digital learning, when systematically managed, contributes not only to improved access to knowledge but also to the development of deeper and more reflective understanding. These findings underscore the importance of integrating managerial strategies with pedagogical practices to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of digital learning in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of the school climate through the mentoring of the Love Curriculum based on the character of compassion at MA Al-Islamiyah. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that first, the implementation of the Love Curriculum is carried out through the integration of the value of compassion in learning activities, the school's religious culture, the habit of politeness, respect for teachers, and strengthening students' social awareness. Second, the success of the school climate transformation is influenced by supporting factors such as the commitment of the madrasah principal, the active role of teachers, religious culture, and parental support, while inhibiting factors include low awareness of some students, the influence of digital media, limited mentoring, and less than optimal synergy between schools and families. Third, the mentoring of the Love Curriculum has positive implications in the form of increased harmonious relationships between teachers and students, the creation of a conducive learning atmosphere, the development of tolerance and social awareness, and the formation of a humanistic and religious school culture. This study confirms that the Love Curriculum can be an effective strategy in strengthening character education and improving the school climate in madrasas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Islamic Religious Education learning strategies based on the values of Piil Pesenggiri in enhancing religious moderation at STAI Ibnu Rusyd Kotabumi, North Lampung. This research is motivated by the importance of strengthening religious moderation amid the growing issues of intolerance, radicalism, and the weakening of local cultural values among the younger generation. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of Islamic Religious Education lecturers, students, and campus authorities selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation, method triangulation, and member checking. The results of the study indicate that Piil Pesenggiri has strong relevance to the principles of religious moderation because it contains values of self-respect, social tolerance, openness, solidarity, and harmonious living. The internalization of Piil Pesenggiri values was carried out through learning activities, academic culture, lecturers’ role modeling, and students’ social activities. Local wisdom-based learning strategies were implemented through planning, implementation, academic culture management, and learning evaluation oriented toward shaping students’ moderate character. This study confirms that Piil Pesenggiri is not only a cultural identity of the Lampung community but can also serve as a pedagogical foundation and a management strategy in Islamic education to strengthen religious moderation in Islamic higher education institutions
