Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the criminal difficulties and legal ramifications of the modern era's epidemic of disinformation on social media in an effort to come up with thorough answers to these issues. The proliferation of hoaxes and other forms of misinformation has threatened Indonesia's social, political, and economic stability in recent years, thanks to the proliferation of social media and other forms of online communication. Another major problem with prosecuting hoaxers is the difficulty of law enforcement in the digital sphere, which includes factors like the anonymity of the offenders, different interpretations of rules, and the general public's lack of competence with digital technology. A descriptive-analytical technique is used in the research method of normative legal studies. In order to find problems and provide answers, this study compares applicable rules with international standards, namely the Criminal Code and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law. Laws, judicial judgments, and other primary legal documents are complemented by secondary legal items such as scholarly publications and literature. The study's findings reveal that despite the existence of laws like the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, its execution is often hindered by the international character of cyberspace and the dearth of funding for digital forensics tools. To combat these issues, the report suggests more adaptable regulation updates, societal efforts to increase digital literacy, technological advancements for law enforcement, and international collaboration. Additionally, law enforcement must strike a balance between protecting individuals' right to free speech and discouraging criminal behavior

For BMT NU, the existence of customers greatly influences the continuity of the work process. Therefore, in order to facilitate the preparation of the next work plan, a customer forecasting technique is needed to determine the number of saving customers in the next period, which can fluctuate every year. For this study, data on the number of savers was used from 2014-2023, then for forecasting using the Single Exponential Smoothing method, a method that focuses on finding stability values. The advantage of this method lies in its ease of operation which is relatively simple. To determine the level of accuracy obtained from the forecasting results, the Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) methods are used. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it was found that the best alpha value for forecasting is at alpha 0,9 with a forecasting result of 10.065,3. The error calculation obtained for the last 10 years of data is MAD = 1.050,037676, MSE = 1.622.018,167, and MAPE = 25%. While for the last 5 years of data, MAD = 1.415,6342, MSE = 2.528.041,621, and MAPE = 19%.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is a social change where people are forced to adapt, one of which is in the payment system. Bank Indonesia has established one of the digital payment systems, namely QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard), to facilitate transaction payments easily, quickly, and securely. This study aims to measure the extent of the use of QRIS payments in the community. This research method uses qualitative research with data collection through a literature review associated with Talcott Parsons' theory. The results of this study show that the role of using the QRIS payment system among the public has shortcomings in terms of network connection and age factors. Among MSMEs, the QRIS payment system continues to increase due to the ease of transacting using one QR code. Meanwhile, in the current generation (generation Y, Z, and Alpha), the QRIS payment system is not only to support needs but has become a daily lifestyle. The QRIS payment system aligns with Talcott Parsons' theory of AGIL (adaptation, goal attainment, integration, and latency).

Abstract

This study investigates fifth-grade students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities based on their Adversity Quotient (AQ) types and identifies error patterns across Polya’s problem-solving stages. Employing a descriptive qualitative design, the research was conducted at Keputran 2 Elementary School, Yogyakarta, involving 24 purposively selected students. Data were obtained through the Adversity Response Profile (ARP) questionnaire and a mathematical problem-solving test. The AQ results categorized students into four climbers, seven campers, and thirteen quitters. One student from each AQ type was further analyzed through their written responses. Findings revealed that climber-type students successfully completed all stages of Polya’s framework, demonstrating perseverance and accuracy yet showing limited reflective evaluation. Camper-type students completed all stages inconsistently, particularly in verifying their results. Quitter-type students were unable to complete the stages, displaying conceptual and procedural misconceptions. The study concludes that differentiated instructional strategies are essential: quitters benefit from contextualized tasks and extrinsic motivation; campers require scaffolded feedback; and climbers need challenging problems to foster deeper reflection. These insights emphasize the pedagogical importance of integrating AQ-based differentiation to enhance mathematical problem-solving competence among elementary students.

Abstract

Mathematical problem-solving skills remain a persistent challenge for elementary students, partly due to the lack of contextual learning approaches that connect mathematics with local culture. However, limited empirical evidence examines whether integrating local wisdom into learning models can enhance students’ problem-solving performance across gender. This study aimed to analyze the effect of Discovery Learning integrated with Lampung local wisdom on students’ mathematical problem-solving skills and to examine whether this effect differs by gender. Using a quasi-experimental 2×2 factorial design, this study involved 41 fifth-grade students at a public elementary school in Pesisir Barat Regency, selected through random sampling. Data were collected using a validated problem-solving test and analyzed using two-way ANOVA. The results indicated that: (1) the learning model had a significant effect on problem-solving skills, (2) there was no significant difference between male and female students, and (3) no interaction effect was found between learning model and gender. These findings highlight the effectiveness of culturally integrated Discovery Learning in improving students’ mathematical problem-solving skills in an inclusive manner. The study contributes to the growing literature on culturally responsive mathematics instruction and encourages educators to use local-wisdom-based approaches to support equitable 21st-century skill development.
