Abstract

This study was aimed to create a disciplinary control book for elementary school students to control student discipline. This research is a developmental research based on the developmental model of Borg and Gall. Product feasibility was obtained through validation activities from material and media experts. The validation results of media experts showed an average score of 3.75, and material experts showed an average score of 3.15. This score was classified in good category, so that the disciplinary control book products were worth testing for elementary school students. Product feasibility trials were carried out through initial trial and limited field trials. While the assessment of product effectiveness was carried out through extensive field test activities. The results of the initial field trial, small group trial, and field test showed that students' discipline increased after being controlled by using disciplinary control books with a good average score category. Thus, it can be concluded that the disciplinary control book of elementary school students is feasible and effective in controlling elementary school students’ discipline.

Abstract

Pendidikan formal di Indonesia dimulai dari jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Di Sekolah Dasar siswa mengalami perkembangan dalam aspek pribadi-sosial (personal-sosial development), akademik (academic development) maupun karir (carier development) sehingga menjadi generasi bangsa yang mandiri dan aktif mengembangkan potensi dirinya memiliki kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia, serta keterampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan negara. Perkembangan siswa SD selain keluarga dipengaruhi lingkungan sekolah/ pendidikan. Sebagai contoh, siswa SD sangat patuh sekali terhadap apa yang dikatakan gurunya, karena guru SD bagi mereka adalah sosok yang "digugu dan ditiru". Model guru yang profesional dapat memberikan positif effect bagi perkembangan anak. Namun tidak sedikit guru SD yang memberikan negative effect seperti ketika ke-giatan belajar mengajar galak/suka menghukum jika siswa salah menjawab, memaksakan kehendak, tidak peduli terhadap kebutuhan siswa, merasa paling tahu dan lain sebagainya. Contoh model guru SD yang tidak profesional tersebut tentunya akan menghambat indigeneousasi siswa sehingga potensi siswa menjadi tidak berkembang secara optimal. Bertalian dengan indigeneousasi siswa maka perlu adanya sosok guru yang bisa dijadikan "model yang berkarakter" (teori Bandura) yang dapat memberikan pembelajaran yang mendidik dan memberikan motivasi anak SD dalam mengembangkan indigeneousasinya. Model yang berkarakter yang dimaksud adalah guru yang memiliki kompetensi sebagai seorang pendidik yaitu kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan profesional. Kata kunci: karakteristik SD, model berkarakter, modeling.

Abstract

Career development influences learners’ life in the future and their career selections. The development career of learners at the primary level has an important role to facilitate individuals in planning, understanding, and having clear career identities. This research described the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor levels of Primary School learners living in suburban areas of Yogyakarta based on their career development. The research sample consisted of primary schools in suburban Yogyakarta with 268 learners. The applied sampling technique was convinced sampling. The researchers used the personally developed questionnaire on career development based on Bloom's taxonomy. The questionnaire consisted of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects with expert judgment to validate the questionnaire. The applied technique of analyzing the data was a descriptive technique to explain the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor levels of the primary school learners based on their career development. The applied data type was the frequency to determine the learners' career development levels. The findings showed that 97% of learners had excellent career development. Then, the remaining percentage, 3%, had not developed excellent career development. The evidence was observable in the poor skill to improve achievement and achieve the expected objectives, lack of self-esteem and skills to struggling, and lack of effort to seek help from other friends.

Abstract

The planning and making of the peeler machine for coffee skin are aimed at completing the needs of SMEs at Pagerharjo, Samigaluh, Kulonprogo. The manual process is the main obstacle in peeling coffee sheets in SMEs. The main objective of creating technological innovation is to assist workers in the production process using appropriate technology to make their work more qualified, effective, and efficient. In planning and making coffee pulper, we must study some literature, make plans, calculate the process of creating tools, and evaluate the tools' trial and error. The picture design use application, namely Autodesk Inventor. The size of the machine is 110 cm x 127 cm x 130 cm; using a motor with gas oil, and the first circle is 3600 rpm, used to pull components with the ratio 1:6, v-belt the type A 75, one solid ship with the diameter of 20 mm. the final result is that the capacity of the pulper machine for coffee is 610 kg/hour.

Abstract

Teachers' motivation in developing multimedia in primary-secondary school teachers who are members of the Kulonprogo integrated Islamic school network is still low. The purpose of this study is to see if there is a significant effect on teacher motivation after providing interactive multimedia training to teachers. Multimedia training includes providing material about interactive multimedia, making multimedia by teachers, mentoring, demonstrations and producing interactive multimedia products from elementary junior high schools. The research method used is a pre-experiment design involving 25 primary-secondary school teachers who are members of the Kulonprogo integrated Islamic school network. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and uses the Wilcoxon test in data analysis. Activities will be carried out using offline and online methods using a theoretical and practical approach. Theoretical material and practical assistance are carried out in the Kapanewon Kulonprogo area. The implementation of activities will be reflected through an evaluation of the participants' understanding of the material, seen from the performance, work results, program implementation evaluation questionnaire. Training is carried out offline and online. Offline training was held at the Yogyakarta State University Hall, Wates Campus offline and online through the zoomeeting application. The results of the implementation of this training based on the pre-post questionnaire obtained an increase in pre-post results from an average of 58.2 to an average of 69.52.  While the results of data processing using SPSS obtained Sig Value. <0.05, this shows that there is a significant effect on teacher motivation before and after the provision of training in making interactive multimedia for teachers. The conclusion of the research is that there is a positive influence on teacher motivation before and after the provision of interactive multimedia training to elementary and junior high school teachers who are members of an integrated Islamic school network in Kulonprogo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. Abstract

This research aims to determine how the project-based learning (PjBL) learning model improves critical thinking skills in elementary schools. The research method used in this research is a literature study. Data collection techniques were done by reviewing articles from various national and international journal sources indexed by Google Scholar, Garuda, DOAJ, Springer, and others. Other sources are obtained with the help of Publish or Perish (POP) software. The research results show that the project-based learning model can improve students' critical thinking abilities. The project-based learning model is a project-based learning model where students are directly involved in the projects being created. Project-based learning emphasizes students being active because learning is student-centered and the teacher is a facilitator and motivator. Project-based learning answers the challenges of 21st-century learning. It should be developed and implemented in every subject and level of middle and high school education to improve aspects of 21st-century skills.

Abstract

Literacy is a crucial indicator of educational success. Despite its importance, literacy skills in Indonesia remain suboptimal, as evidenced by various studies and surveys. This research aims to develop a family literacy module designed to enhance elementary school students' interest and reading skills. This study employed the Research and Development (RD) framework using the Borg Gall ten-stage model. Participants included 69 parents and 28 students. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, and tests to evaluate the module's effectiveness. The developed family literacy module significantly improved students' reading interests and abilities, demonstrating its effectiveness as an educational tool. The study's findings indicate that the family literacy module provides a practical solution for addressing low literacy levels among elementary school students. By engaging both students and parents, the module fosters a supportive reading environment, which is essential for literacy improvement. The family literacy module effectively enhances elementary school students' reading interests and skills, offering a promising strategy for literacy development in Indonesia. Future research should investigate the broader application of this module and assess its long-term impacts on literacy enhancement.

Abstract

Literacy Teaching modules are an essential learning element in the independent curriculum. However, many SD Negeri Percobaan 04 Wates teachers are less motivated to develop it because they lack assistance creating their teaching modules. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness of problem-based teaching module training in the independent curriculum in increasing the motivation of elementary school teachers. The training participants were 25 elementary school teachers who were SDN Percobaan 4 Wates members. Theoretical material and practical assistance were carried out in the Kapanewon Kulonprogo area. The implementation of the activity will be reflected through an evaluation of the participant's understanding of the material in terms of performance, work results, and motivation scale of the training participants. The offline training was held at the UNY Wates Campus Hall offline and online through the Zoom meeting application. This study used a pre-experiment research design with a one-group pretest-posttest design model. Data collection was carried out using a teacher motivation scale. The data analysis technique used was the Wilcoxon Test to determine the effect of training on the motivation of primary school teachers. to assess the impact of exercise on elementary school teachers' motivation. Implementing this training based on the pre-post questionnaire increased pretest and post-test results. The Wilcoxon test results significantly affected teacher motivation before and after providing problem-based teaching module training for elementary school teachers in Kulonprogo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. Efektivitas pelatihan modul pengajaran berbasis masalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi guru sekolah dasar Modul ajar merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam pembelajaran di kurikulum merdeka. Namun, masih banyak guru di SD Negeri Percobaan 04 Wates yang kurang termotivasi dalam mengembangkannya karena kurang mendapatkan pendampingan untuk membuat modul ajarnya sendiri. Berdasar pada hal tersebut maka tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah melihat efektivitas pelatihan modul ajar berbasis masalah dalam kurikulum merdeka dalam meningkatkan motivasi guru sekolah dasar. Peserta pelatihan berjumlah 25 guru sekolah dasar yang tergabung pada SDN Percobaan 4 Wates. Materi teori dan pendampingan praktik dilaksanakan di wilayah Kapanewon Kulonprogo. Pelaksanaan kegiatan akan direfleksikan melalui evaluasi pemahaman peserta terhadap materi, ditinjau dari unjuk kerja, hasil karya, dan skala motivasi peserta pelatihan. Pelatihan secara luring dilaksanakan di Aula UNY Kampus Wates secara luring dan daring melalui aplikasi zoom meeting. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan model one group pretest-posttest design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala motivasi guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Test Wilcoxon untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan terhadap motivasi guru SD. Adapun hasil dari pelaksanaan pelatihan ini berdasarkan angket pre-post diperoleh hasil terjadi peningkatan hasil pretest dan posttest.  Sedangkan hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada motivasi guru sebelum dan setelah pemberian pelatihan modul ajar berbasis masalah pada para guru SD di Kabupaten Kulonprogo, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.

Abstract

It is urgent to carry out character education because with the provision of character education students will be able to empower their potential to build their personal character so that they are able to become individuals who are beneficial to themselves and their environment. Focus and aim of this research is to analyze the value of character education from the Indonesian Animation Series: Adit Sopo Jarwo for elementary school students. Type of research used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive type. The data sampling technique used purposive sampling and the samples in this study were  fourth grade elementary school students and teachers who taught in that class. The research procedure used in this research uses qualitative data analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, presenting data in descriptive form and making conclusions. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews and observations. Based on the research that has been carried out, the results and conclusions are obtained that the Indonesian Animation series Adit & Sopo Jarwo has character education value, namely the mutual cooperation character in the episode "Serunya Kerja Bakti dan Tamasya Bersama" and the independent character in the episode "Bunda Pergi Adel Mandiri", so that the Indonesian Animation series Adit & Sopo Jarwo can be used as audio visual media to instill the character of mutual cooperation and independence in elementary school students.

Abstract

Abstract: The recent statistic suggests the average psychological well-being of Indonesian citizens, including the pre-service training teacher, represents their capacity to overcome future challenges. Excellent psychological well-being is crucial for pre-service training teachers, especially for providing a comfortable learning situation for students and engaging in effective communication with students. This study investigates the psychological well-being of pre-service training teachers. Thus, this study adopted survey techniques with descriptive data analysis. The data were collected from 44 teachers selected by purposive sampling. The criteria for selecting research participants were currently taking pre-service teacher education, elementary school teachers, and willingness to participate in this study. Data were collected using a psychological well-being scale. The results of the analysis showed high and exceedingly high psychological well-being of pre-service training teachers. However, the majority of participants had low scores in the aspect of improving self-quality over time, and some of them presented remarkably low scores. Abstrak: Kesejahteraan psikologis orang Indonesia pada saat ini masih berada pada tingkat rata-rata, sehingga dianggap masih mampu berjuang untuk mengatasi tantangan yang dialami di masa depan, tidak terkecuali guru pre-service training. Guru pre-service training perlu memiliki kesejahteraan psikologis untuk menghadirkan situasi pembelajaran yang nyaman bagi peserta didik dan komunikasi yang efektif dengan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kesejahteraan psikologis guru pre-service training. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan teknik survei dengan analisis deskriptif untuk data yang diperoleh. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 44 guru, dipilih secara purposive sampling. Adapun kriteria pemilihan sampel penelitian yaitu sedang menempuh PPG, guru sekolah dasar, dan bersedia untuk diteliti. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala kesejahteraan psikologis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kesejahteraan psikologis guru pre-service training berada pada tingkat tinggi dan sangat tinggi. Meskipun demikian, aspek meningkatkan kualitas diri dari waktu ke waktu tidak begitu banyak dimiliki oleh guru pre-service training sebab berada pada tingkat rendah, bahkan sangat rendah.
