Abstract

The concept of e-learning has been adapted and used in Indonesia since the 1940s, and its development has continued to progress to this day. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to more comprehensive use of elearning. Unfortunately, ABC University was not prepared for the drastic shift to fully online learning, and its e-learning system is not yet integrated with the academic information system (SIAKAD). Other challenges include system bugs and a lack of optimization in discussion forums. As a result, students and lecturers are not able to use e-learning to its full potential. To identify the root causes of these issues, this study aims to determine the influencing factors of e-learning usage at ABC University, with the findings intended to provide recommendations for the university to address the challenges it faces. The study uses a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods to process and validate the data. The UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) approach is applied to identify the factors that affect e-learning usage, with analysis conducted using PLS SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling). The study results show that among the five factors examined—Performance Expectancy (PE), Effort Expectancy (EE), Social Influence (SI), Facilitating Conditions (FC), and Behavioral Intention (BI)—only Social Influence (SI) significantly impacts e-learning usage, while the other four factors do not have a significant effect. The recommendations from this study include the need for system integration between e-learning and SIAKAD to ensure optimal use, as well as conducting maintenance every three months, facilitating meeting accounts, and adding audio-video features in discussion forums.

Abstract

Indonesian government is targeting one million halal product certification in 2023. And the government is targeting that by 2024 all products in Indonesia will be halal certified. This certainly needs support from various parties. Indonesian government through the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH) appoints the Halal Product Process Assistance Agency (LP3H) which acts as an extension and assists business actors (micro - small) through assistance in the halal certification process. However, data on the halal information system shows that only 749,971 products have been declared halal in 2022 and there is still a need for massive socialization efforts so that government programs are realized. To support this program, LP3H ITB AD conducts activities for prospective Halal Product Process (PPH) assistants to help verify and validate the halal process for business actors. The aim of the research is to disseminate basic information and knowledge to prospective PPH assistants regarding the legal basis, verification, validation, materials and processes for halal certification. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Data collection was obtained from the results of the questionnaire. The results of this study show that on average 66% of the participants understand the information material related to the halal process and 79% are very satisfied with the presentation of the resource persons.

Abstract

Higher education institutions must deliver high-quality education that produces graduates who are knowledgeable, skilled, creative, and competitive. In this system, students are a vital asset, and their timely graduation rate is an important factor to consider. In the department of computer science, a challenge arises in distinguishing between students who graduate on time and those who do not. With a low on-time graduation rate of just 1.90% out of 158 graduates, this issue could negatively affect the institution's accreditation evaluation. This research employs the Case-Based Reasoning method, enhanced with an indexing process using rough sets and a prediction process utilizing cosine similarity. The testing, conducted using k-fold validation with 60%, 70%, and 80% of the data, produced average accuracy rates of 64.2%, 66.3%, and 65.6%, respectively. The test results indicate that the highest average accuracy of 66.3% was achieved with 70% of the cases.

Abstract

PKM Dodol Al-Barokah MSME Group in Product Innovation Pitadol and Eco Friendly Packaging Based on Bamboo Craftsmen's Waste in Bojonggede Bogor is an effort to improve the welfare of dodol makers which have existed since 1970. Partner problems are 1) they don't have new products (innovations). So far, only 4 flavors of dodol have been produced, 2) they still use plastic packaging. Plastic packaging materials besides damaging the environment also damage health, 3) partners experience difficulties in terms of capital. The solutions offered are 1) training on making a new dodol product called pitadol. Pitadol stands for banana, taro and dodol. Bananas and taro thrive in the Bojonggede area, 2) training on making packaging from bamboo craftsmen's waste (eco friendly packaging). Bamboo craftsmen in the Bojonggede Bogor area are more than 50 bamboo craftsmen. 3) Implementation of the perelek system, this system is a mutual cooperation system by collecting small change (coins) every Monday and Thursday collected from 25 group members. The funds from the perelek system will be given assistance to members who experience difficulties in terms of capital to buy production raw materials. The method is carried out by counseling, training and mentoring at each step of the activity. The activity was carried out with 4 students in the framework of MBKM activities. Students will receive recognition of 6 credits. The main performance indicators are IKU 2 and 5, while for lecturers IKU 5. The contribution of this service is the creation of a new product called Pitadol, the creation of environmentally friendly packaging products and the implementation of a perelek system which is an independent system in obtaining funds for group member capital.
