Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh variabel (1) kompetensi manajerial terhadap profesionalisme kepala sekolah, (2) kompetensi sosial terhadap profesionalisme kepala sekolah, dan (3) kompetensi manajerial serta kompetensi sosial secara bersama-sama terhadap profesionalisme kepala sekolah. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah SD Negeri se-Kota Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 176 orang dengan sampel sebanyak 122 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket sebagai instrumen penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial, sedangkan koefisien reliabilitas instrumen dihitung menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi manajerial terhadap profesionalisme kepala sekolah sebesar 0,643, serta terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi sosial terhadap profesionalisme kepala sekolah sebesar 0,597. Sementara itu, secara simultan kompetensi manajerial dan kompetensi sosial memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profesionalisme kepala sekolah dengan koefisien sebesar 0,755.

Abstract

Education is a barometer of a nation's progress; thus, it is not surprising that education becomes one of the important issues to be seriously improved. The low learning achievement of grade VII students at SMP Teknologi Pekanbaru, especially in social science subjects that was influenced by the family environment, was the background of this research problem. This research applied descriptive quantitative research methods, and the purpose of this research was to determine the influence of the family environment on students' learning achievements in social science subject through learning motivation at SMP Teknologi Pekanbaru. Data were collected through documentation to obtain students’ learning achievements and questionnaires to obtain data about the family environment and learning motivation. The population in this research was 68 grade VII students, and the samples were selected through census sampling techniques, meaning that the entire population was selected as samples. After that, the data were tabulated and analyzed by using path analysis assisting by SPSS version 25. The results showed that the family environment indirectly had a positive and significant impact on the students’ learning achievements in social science subject through learning motivation at SMP Teknologi Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of E-learning implementation on teaching efficacy, students’ interest in learning, and the influence of students’ interest on teaching effectiveness. This research was a quantitative study using a questionnaire design, with a sample of 99 students from SMK (Vocational School) Negeri in Pekanbaru. Data were analyzed using path analysis, and the results indicated that the implementation of E-learning influenced students’ learning interest by 26.2%, which was categorized as a low influence because 73.8% was determined by other factors. E-learning implementation also influenced teachers’ teaching effectiveness by 25.7%, again in the low category because 73.7% was affected by other factors. Furthermore, students’ learning interest influenced teachers’ teaching effectiveness by 24.5%, with 74.3% determined by other factors. The combined contribution of E-learning and students’ learning interest to teaching effectiveness was 33.3%, still categorized as low, as 66.7% was influenced by other factors. Based on these findings, this study recommends that school observers and policy stakeholders actively conduct training, workshops, and other initiatives to improve E-learning, thereby enhancing students’ learning interest and teaching effectiveness.
