Abstract

The development of education in Indonesia continues to experience better progress. Various innovations have been developed aimed at improving the quality of education at various levels of education. One of the innovations put forward is an independent curriculum. This independent curriculum is also implemented at the Gunung Raya Islamiyah Islamic Boarding School, North Padanglawas Regency. Therefore, this research aims to determine the implementation of the independent curriculum at the Gunung Raya Islamiyah Islamic Boarding School, North Padanglawas Regency. The research was conducted using qualitative research. The research results found that the independent learning curriculum implemented included USBN and National Examination which were replaced with assessments and Arabic language immersion. Abstract

Pernikahan misyar yaitu seorang lelaki menikahi perempuan dan mensyaratkan untuk tidak menafkahinya. Nikah misyar juga menimbulkan perdebatan di antara para ulama kontemporer karena model nikah seperti ini baru dikenal pada masa kini. Selain masih diperdebatkan oleh ulama tentang kebolehannya, nikah misyar sebagai salah satu bentuk pernikahan dalam Islam dengan syarat-syarat tertentu, menghadirkan problematika yang kompleks dari perspektif sosiologis dan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak sosiologis dan psikologis praktik nikah misyar lalu slanjutnya dijelaskan implikasinya terhadap konsep keluarga dalam pandangan Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yaitu penelitian yang dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan literatur (kepustakaan), membaca dan mencatat serta mengolah bahan penelitian baik berupa buku, catatan, jurnal, dan internet. Analisis data yang bersifat deskriptif yaitu menggambarkan, mengemukakan atau menguraikan berbagai data/teori yang telah ada terkait dampak sosiologis dan psikologis dari praktik nikah misyar. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan Praktik nikah misyar menghasilkan dampak sosiologis dan psikologis yang signifikan terhadap individu dan keluarga, terutama dalam pandangan Islam. Secara sosiologis, pernikahan ini mengurangi kehadiran suami secara fisik dan emosional, yang bertentangan dengan prinsip Islam tentang keutuhan keluarga dan komunikasi antar anggota keluarga. Hal ini menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan peran dan tanggung jawab, serta mengganggu pola komunikasi dan fungsi sosialisasi keluarga. Secara psikologis, anggota keluarga, terutama istri dan anak-anak, mengalami gangguan emosional seperti ketidakamanan, kesepian, dan kebingungan identitas yang berpotensi memengaruhi perkembangan kepribadian dan kesehatan mental mereka. Implikasi tersebut bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai Islam yang menegaskan pentingnya keutuhan keluarga, integritas, dan tanggung jawab bersama dalam membangun keluarga yang harmonis dan stabil.

Abstract

This study discusses the impact of addiction to playing online games and its implications for personality in children aged 10-13 at the elementary school level in Air Merah Village, Air Serdang Hamlet, Kampung Rakyat District, South Labuhan Batu Regency. Online game addiction is playing online games excessively so that online games are the main focus and get good attention from others without thinking about other things to do. Changes in the behavior of students who are addicted to online games may not feel, but the social personality of children can be felt by people around their environment, especially parents. Social personality is the overall behavior of an individual with a certain tendency system that interacts with the situation. This study uses a qualitative research approach. The research subjects were children aged 10-13 at the elementary school level in Air Merah Village, Air Serdang hamlet, Kampung Rakyat District, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency. Collecting data using observation, interviews, documentation and field notes. Data analysis includes data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the impact of playing games can affect the development of children's social personalities, such as children's rebellious behavior, children's aggressive attitudes, children's quarreling/fighting attitudes, children's competitive attitudes, children's cooperative attitudes, the child's powerful behavior, the child's selfish/selfish attitude and the child's sympathy. Children when playing games will focus on the game and ignore the surrounding environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the problems students encounter when memorizing the Quran at Tahfiz Al-Quran Tunas Hafizah Sihitang Padangsidimpuan Academy. The method used in this study is qualitative description. Memorizing the Quran is a process of protecting, protecting and maintaining the sanctity of the Quran. Allah says in Surah Al-Kamar, verse 17 of the Quran, that He has indeed made learning and memorizing the Quran easier. Research results show that students who memorize the Quran face various problems while memorizing the Quran. It is possible to distinguish two types of problems, which are internal problems (inside the self) and external problems (outside the self), which are laziness, feelings of impatience and hopelessness, without ability to organize and use time wisely, inability to maintain discipline in tahfiz. activity, forgetfulness, unethical behavior, problems with the physical and social environment, etc

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi di Indonesia memicu kebutuhan perlindungan data pribadi yang lebih baik, mengingat banyaknya kasus kebocoran dan penyalahgunaan informasi. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, pada tahun 2022 Indonesia mengesahkan Undang-Undang Perlindungan Data Pribadi (UU PDP) guna memberikan jaminan hukum dan meningkatkan kesadaran tentang pentingnya kerahasiaan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran notaris dalam perlindungan data pribadi sesuai UU PDP dan mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang meliputi kajian literatur dan wawancara, serta analisis data menggunakan NVivo 12 Plus. Sebagai pejabat hukum, notaris memiliki peran utama dalam menjaga kerahasiaan dan integritas data pribadi, meliputi memastikan akurasi, kelengkapan, dan konsistensi data, melakukan verifikasi, memperbaiki kesalahan, serta memberikan akses yang sesuai kepada subjek data. Tantangan yang dihadapi mencakup kepatuhan terhadap peraturan yang kompleks, pemeliharaan keamanan data, pengelolaan data dalam jumlah besar, dan penyediaan akses transparan. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, notaris perlu mengadopsi pendekatan yang terstruktur, termasuk pemahaman mendalam tentang regulasi, penerapan teknologi keamanan terbaru, dan sistem manajemen data yang efisien, guna memastikan kepatuhan hukum dan menjaga kepercayaan publik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the Prophet in the formation of morals and ethics of society through the teachings and examples left behind. This study uses a literature study methodology by reviewing various sources, including religious texts, history books, and scientific articles that discuss the role of the Prophet as a moral guide. The results of the study indicate that the Prophet’s teachings significantly influence the formation of positive moral values in society. The example given by the Prophet in everyday life, both in personal and social aspects, creates a foundation for the development of good morals. In addition, the influence of the Prophet in spreading the values of justice, compassion, and tolerance has been shown to strengthen social cohesion and reduce conflict in society. These findings emphasize the importance of deepening understanding of the Prophet’s teachings to build better morals and ethics in the modern era.

Abstract

This article examines the responsibilities of customers and Islamic Banks in managing problematic financing. This research also examines the terms of facility agreements by different Islamic banks to analyze the handling of problematic financing by the banks. The researcher employs a qualitative methodology, thus this research is based on primary data analysis from interviews with representatives of Bank A to determine the mechanisms used by Bank A to recover problematic financing, as well as secondary data. Secondary data was obtained by reviewing the relevant provisions of facility agreements from three Islamic Banks in relation to default events and compensation, and collecting information from the Policy Documents and Guidelines of Islamic banks. The conclusion of this research reveals the responsibilities of customers and Islamic banks in managing and handling problematic financing, as well as examining the steps taken by Bank A to recover its problematic financing. This research is important in highlighting the obligations of customers regarding their financing and the treatment of Islamic banks in assisting and addressing problematic financing.

Abstract

This community service aims to empower the YLPI Riau Islamic Kindergarten Perhentian Marpoyan by providing infrastructure assistance still unavailable in the kindergarten. In addition, counseling was given about personal hygiene and the introduction of traffic rules to kindergarten students. The method used in this service had several stages, starting from the procurement of infrastructure, implementation, and evaluation monitoring. The partner in this service was the YLPI Riau Perhentian Marpoyan Islamic Kindergarten. The instrument for evaluating community service activities was in the form of a questionnaire and is analyzed descriptively. The result was that after the dedication was carried out in the form of providing infrastructure assistance, namely replicas of the Kaaba, replicas of traffic signs, storage cabinets, educational game tools, reading books, and educational posters, as well as computers, activities such as manasic-hajj guide, introduction to orderly traffic rules, activities administration in the administration section as well as other activities carried out in class can finally be carried out smoothly. Apart from that, from counseling about personal hygiene, students understood personal hygiene starting from washing hands, using hand sanitizers, and brushing their teeth. Meanwhile, from the introduction of traffic rules, students at YLPI Perhentian Marpoyan Islamic Kindergarten understood the meaning of traffic signs so they could interpret them on the road and wanted to obey them.

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase young voters' knowledge, awareness, and participation in Kampung Singkir Darat, Negeri Kedah, Malaysia, about their rights and obligations in general elections through political education. The method of implementing this service uses counselling, which includes planning, implementation, and monitoring with partners Universiti Utara Malaysia. The instrument for evaluating this activity is a questionnaire, which is then analyzed descriptively. This service showed that young voters' knowledge, awareness, and participation in Kampung Singkir Darat, Negeri Kedah, Malaysia, increased their rights and obligations in general elections. This activity can increase community participation among those aged 18-21 years so that smart and quality elections can be carried out.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the roles of notaries and advocates in Indonesia and Malaysia. The urgency of this research is to provide better insight into the topic. The novelty of this research lies in the comparative approach offered in this analysis in the legal context of Indonesia and Malaysia. This research uses a qualitative approach with data sources in documentation and observation. The analysis tool chosen is Nvivo 12 Plus. The findings of this study succeeded in identifying striking similarities and differences in the roles of these two professions. The main similarity in the role of notaries in Indonesia and Malaysia is the function of legalizing and enforcing the validity of legal documents. Notaries in both countries certify documents and ensure compliance with applicable laws. However, the most significant difference lies in the two countries' scope of duties, legal authority, and notary education systems. The main similarities in the role of advocates in Indonesia and Malaysia include legal representation, providing legal advice, and filing legal documents. However, the main differences relate to the scope of the case, legal system, educational requirements, legal language, and legal culture. This shows differences in the two countries' legal contexts and legal demands. Thus, the roles of notaries and advocates in Indonesia and Malaysia have basic similarities in legalizing documents and legal representation but significant differences in the scope of duties, legal authority, education system, and legal and cultural context.
