Abstract

Garbage is goods derived from human activities that are no longer used, either unused or discarded. Good waste management not only makes the environment clean and healthy, but can also improve the community's economy. Bueng Village is one of the villages in the Jantho City District, Aceh Besar Regency which is classified as underdeveloped according to the Village Development Index and classified as underdeveloped according to the Village Development Index. The livelihoods of the people in Gampong Bueng are mostly farmers, because this village is located in the mountains and filled with rice fields. The problem that occurs in Bueng Village is that there is no garbage disposal area, so a lot of garbage is thrown carelessly around the location and causes an unpleasant odor. Therefore, there is a need for a garbage disposal site that can make it easier for the surrounding community to dispose of waste in its place. So the potential for used drums is very interesting to function as a high-value trash can both from an aesthetic and economical point of view. In addition to having the advantage of a strong base material, used drums have sufficient volume. The purpose of making this trash can is to minimize waste in Bueng Village. With the trash can, there will be public awareness to collect garbage and dispose of garbage in its place so that the environment is clean and free from disease.Keywords: Used drums, environment, garbage

Abstract

The proper ablution place becomes one of mosque facilities to be concerned by the community and completed by the water used for ablution activity. The water used in Muhajirin Mosque is sourced from Tirta Daroy Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM), but the supply is less smooth impacting the water used for ablution activity during the praying times is insufficient. It is required to build water storage with the dimension 3 m x 1.5 m x 1.2 m. The water storage is utilized to fill the water when the PDAM water supply is smooth to solve the water deficit for ablution. The implementation of this community dedication activity consists of survey and observation, drawing designing, discussion, building construction and hand over activity. The output of this activity is providing supporting building used for ablution activity to the community surrounding Muhajirin Mosque in Punge Blang Cut Village, Jaya Baru Sub District, Banda Aceh City. This building is useful for the ablution water need in the praying times and other significant benefits for community. The follow up of this activity is expected to be built a water reservoir as the water reserve to save the electricity and to ensure that the water will be supply if the electricity is off.Keyword: Build water storage, ablution place, mosque

Abstract

Background: Thalassemia major is a chronic disease that, when diagnosed in children, can have significant emotional, cognitive, and daily impacts, especially on parents, and can also cause stress. Purpose: To explore mothers' experiences caring for children with thalassemia major at a thalassemia shelter in Banda Aceh. Method: This study used a qualitative design with a grounded theory approach. Interviews were conducted between August and September 2021 with six mothers caring for children with thalassemia major. Five main focus areas were explored: mothers' knowledge of thalassemia, concerns about their children's future, financial difficulties, family/social support received, and family resilience. Results: Parents believed that thalassemia major was not a hereditary disease, but they expressed concerns about their children's future, including the possibility of marriage. Finances were a major concern for families with children with thalassemia major, given that their children require routine monthly medication. Support from the surrounding community, both physical and material, was perceived to have a significant positive impact on mothers and families with children with thalassemia major. Families generally accept their child's condition. Conclusion: Caring for a child with thalassemia major requires time, effort, and expense. Mothers with more experience caring for children are generally more accepting of their child's condition. Suggestion: Healthcare workers in hospitals must be able to fulfill their roles broadly, not only as nurses but also as advocates for children and families concerned about thalassemia.   Keywords: Caregiving; Child; Maternal Experience; Thalassemia Major.   Pendahuluan: Thalassemia mayor merupakan penyakit kronik yang apabila terjadi pada anak dapat memberi dampak, khususnya terhadap orang tua dalam hal emosional, kognitif, dan kesehariannya dan juga dapat menimbulkan stress pada anak. Tujuan: Untuk mengeksplor pengalaman ibu dalam merawat anak dengan thalassemia mayor di rumah singgah thalassemia Banda Aceh Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan kualitatif dengan pendekatan grounded theory pada 6 orang ibu yang merawat anak dengan thalasemia mayor dan dilaksanakan pada Agustus–September 2021. Adapun yang digali dalam penelitian ini menyangkut 5 hal yaitu pengetahuan ibu tentang thalasemia, kekhawatiran terhadap masa depan anak, kesulitan finansial, dukungan keluarga /sosial yang diterima, dan ketahanan keluarga. Hasil: Orang tua menganggap bahwa thalassemia mayor bukanlah penyakit keturunan, terdapat kecemasan terhadap masa depan anak, salah satunya adalah kemungkinan untuk bisa berumah tangga. Keuangan menjadi permasalahan utama bagi keluarga dengan anak thalassemia mayor mengingat bahwa anaknya membutuhkan pengobatan setiap bulan secara rutin, dukungan lingkungan sekitar baik secara real maupun materil dirasa sangat berdampak positif kepada ibu dan keluarga yang memiliki anak dengan thalassemia mayor, keluarga umumnya menerima kondisi penyakit anak mereka. Simpulan: Dibutuhkan waktu, tenaga, dan biaya dalam merawat anak dengan thalassemia mayor, biasanya ibu yang telah memiliki pengalaman lebih lama dalam merawat anaknya dapat lebih menerima kondisi penyakit anaknya. Saran: Tenaga kesehatan di tatanan rumah sakit agar dapat menjalankan perannya secara luas selain caring, namun juga mencakup peran sebagai advokasi bagi anak dan keluarga tentang penyakit thalassemia.   Kata Kunci: Anak; Merawat; Pengalaman Ibu; Thalassemia Mayor.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the factors to be considered in the application of precast technology in building construction projects in the city of Banda Aceh, and to analyze the relationship and influence between factors of consideration of the application of technology to the precast construction project implementation performance of buildings in Banda Aceh. This study uses a questionnaire distributed to the field of building construction company, ranging from qualifying M1, M2, and B1. The results showed that factors into consideration precast technology application in building construction projects in the city of Banda Aceh is a factor with a mean time of 4.179, with mean 4,172 quality considerations, cost considerations with a mean of 4.168 and 4.165 with mean special consideration. Relationship factors of consideration of the application of technology to the precast construction project implementation performance of buildings in Banda Aceh, all of them have a very high partially with Pearson correlation coefficient values between 0.800 to 1.00. Influence factors of consideration of the application of technology to the precast construction project implementation performance of buildings in Banda Aceh, the most influential factor is the consideration of time, with significant value 0.003 0.05. This suggests that if the consideration time factor is increased, then the performance of the project of construction of buildings in Banda Aceh will increase.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan dalam penerapan teknologi precast pada proyek konstruksi gedung di Kota Banda Aceh, serta menganalisis hubungan dan pengaruh antara faktor-faktor pertimbangan penerapan teknologi precast terhadap kinerja pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi gedung di Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada perusahaan kontraktor bidang gedung, mulai dari kualifikasi M1, M2, dan B1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan penerapan teknologi precast pada proyek konstruksi gedung di Kota Banda Aceh adalah faktor pertimbangan waktu dengan mean 4,179, pertimbangan mutu dengan mean 4,172, pertimbangan biaya dengan mean 4,168 dan pertimbangan khusus dengan mean 4,165. Hubungan faktor-faktor pertimbangan penerapan teknologi precast terhadap kinerja pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi gedung di Kota Banda Aceh, semuanya memiliki hubungan yang sangat tinggi secara parsial dengan nilai koefisien korelasi Pearson antara 0,800-1,00. Pengaruh faktor-faktor pertimbangan penerapan teknologi precast terhadap kinerja pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi gedung di Kota Banda Aceh, yang paling berpengaruh adalah faktor pertimbangan waktu, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,003 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa apabila faktor pertimbangan waktu ditingkatkan, maka kinerja pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi gedung di Kota Banda Aceh akan semakin meningkat.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the construction industry demands effective project management strategies to minimize delays and optimize costs. This study analyzes project acceleration using the Least Cost Scheduling (LCS) method in the construction of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) flats for National Sports Week (PON) support. The research applies Microsoft Project to determine the critical path and evaluates different acceleration scenarios by increasing working hours by 1, 2, 3, and 4 hours per day. The findings indicate that with a 4-hour work extension, the project duration can be reduced from 390 days to 325 days, achieving a time saving of 65-days. However, this acceleration increases total project costs from IDR 20,436,612,368.92 to IDR 30,830,058,031.32, representing a 50.86% cost increase. The most cost-efficient balance was achieved by extending the workday by three hours, reducing project duration to 351 days with a 45.20% cost increase. These results provide valuable insights for construction project managers in selecting efficient acceleration strategies while considering financial feasibility.

Abstract

Waktu dan biaya sangat berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan dan kegagalan suatu proyek. Tolak ukur keberhasilan proyek biasanya dilihat dari waktu penyelesaian yang singkat dengan biaya yang minimal tanpa meninggalkan mutu hasil pekerjaan. Oleh karena itu, salah satu usaha untuk mengoptimalisasi waktu dan biaya adalah dengan menggunakan metode Precedence Diagram Method (PDM). Pembangunan Gedung Fakultas Ilmu Politik dan Ilmu Sosial Universitas Syiah Kuala ini dibangun III (tiga) lantai dengan anggaran proyek adalah sebesar Rp. 3.607.020.000,00 (Tiga Milyar Enam Ratus Tujuh Juta Dua Puluh Ribu Rupiah) dengan waktu pelaksanaan selama 10 bulan sesuai dengan time schedule dan kurva-S. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah membandingkan waktu dan biaya antara perencanaan (time schedule dan kurva-S) dengan metode PDM. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui durasi (waktu) optimum, mengetahui biaya yang diperlukan untuk pelaksanaan proyek serta membandingkan waktu dan biaya proyek antara perencanaan (time schedule dan kurva-S) dengan metode PDM. Metode penelitian dalam perencanaan ini dimulai dengan pengumpulan data berupa data sekunder, untuk analisa dan pengolahan data secara manual dimulai dengan perhitungan PDM kemudian dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan float dan jalur kritis. Hasil perhitungan waktu dengan metode PDM diperoleh waktu penyelesaian proyek selama 232 hari lebih cepat 23 hari dari metode kurva-S. Hasil perhitungan biaya secara total dengan menggunakan metode PDM diperoleh biaya sebesar Rp.3.226.282.572 lebih murah dibandingkan dengan menggunakan metode kurva-S dengan selisih biaya Rp.52.829.994,6. Hasil Perhitungan float dan jalur kritis pada penelitian ini dengan metode PDM memperlihatkan bahwa semua kegiatan tidak terdapat float dan semuanya jalur kritis dibandingkan dengan metode kurva-S terdapat float dan tidak semuanya jalur kritis pada semua kegiatan. Dengan demikian, metode PDM dapat mengoptimalkan waktu dan biaya.

Abstract

Penyelenggaraan jalan tol dimaksudkan untuk mewujudkan pemerataan pembangunan dan hasil–hasilnya serta keseimbangan dalam pengembangan wilayah dengan memperhatikan keadilan, yang dapat dicapai dengan membina jaringan jalan yang dananya berasal dari pengguna jalan. Pengadaan tanah jalan tol sekitar 853 hektare tanah yang akan digunakan untuk ruas jalan tol Banda Aceh - Sigli sepanjang 74 km dan seluas 210 hektar berada di kawasan Hutan Produksi maupun Hutan Produksi Konversi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji apakah pembangunan jalan tol Banda Aceh - Sigli berdampak terhadap lingkungan, serta untuk mengetahui kesesuaian penanganan lingkungan menurut Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup nomor 16 tahun 2012. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, yang diberikan kepada 96 responden utuk mempertanyakan dampak lingkungan pada pembangunan jalan tol serta 25 responden menanyakan tentang penanganan lingkungan kepada pejabat antara lain Camat Blang Bintang, Keucik di tiga Desa, Manajer Proyek dan Karyawan Adhi Karya. Metode statistika yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil uji validitas untuk faktor dampak lingkungan, menunjukkan hasil nilai r hitung (0,372) > r tabel (0,206) dengan signifikansi (5%), sedangkan hasil uji validitas untuk faktor penanganan lingkungan diperoleh nilai r hitung (0,507) > r tabel (0,413) dengan signifikansi (5%). Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa faktor dampak lingkungan dengan nilai Cronbach Alpha (0,660) > 0,6 dan faktor penanganan lingkungan dengan nilai Cronbach Alpha (0,609) > 0,6. Dengan demikian instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah valid dan reliabel. Hasil analisis dekriptif menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan jalan tol Banda Aceh - Sigli berdampak terhadap lingkungan dan penanganan lingkungan yang dilaksanakan pada pembanguan jalan tol telah sesuai menurut Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup nomor 12 tahun 2012.

Abstract

Certificate of Occupancy (CO) is a certificate issued by the Regional Government for a building that has been completed and has met the requirements for the proper occupancy of the building, which is also applied to public buildings in Banda Aceh. The problem of this research is whether the building owner/user knows about CO and whether the building owner/user already knows about the implementation of CO in accordance with the law. This study aims to investigate the owner/users knowledge on CO and to determine the owner/users of the building knowledge about the application of CO in accordance with the law. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents, namely owners/users of public buildings in Banda Aceh. The variables used in this study are architectural components, structural, mechanical, electrical, outdoor layout, and the reliability of buildings to public buildings. The results of the factor analysis show that the correlation between a variable and the factors formed is > 0.5, so the factors formed have a relationship to summarize the six variables which has been analyzed. The results of the validity test of the r-table value of 0.197 meet the requirements of rcount > r table. The reliability test results qualify with Cronbach's Alpha value greater than 0.6. The results of descriptive analysis show that the frequency of building owners who know about CO is 6% and building users who know about CO is 2%, while the frequency of owners who know about the application of CO in accordance with the law is 2% and users who know about the application of CO are in accordance with the law is 1%. This indicates that there are still many users/owners of public buildings in Banda Aceh who do not know about CO and do not understand about the application of CO in accordance with the law. Therefore, the Banda Aceh Government needs to disseminate information about the implementation of CO, especially to owners of public buildings.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Pengelolaan persediaan material yang efisien sangat penting dalam proyek konstruksi untuk menghindari keterlambatan, pembengkakan biaya, serta kekurangan dan kelebihan material. Penelitian ini menyelidiki optimalisasi pengelolaan persediaan material menggunakan metode Material Requirements Planning (MRP), dengan fokus pada teknik Lot Sizing—Lot for Lot (LFL) dan Part Period Balancing (PPB). Studi kasus dilakukan pada pembangunan Kantor Kementerian Agama di Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menargetkan material beton bertulang, seperti semen, pasir, dan besi tulangan, yang merupakan bahan penting bagi proyek tersebut. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara, sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumentasi proyek, termasuk Bill of Materials (BOM), jadwal, dan rincian biaya. Dengan menggunakan MRP, penelitian ini menghitung kebutuhan material, jadwal pengadaan, dan biaya untuk teknik LFL dan PPB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik LFL secara signifikan mengurangi biaya dan meningkatkan efisiensi dibandingkan dengan metode PPB. Pada lantai pertama, teknik LFL menghasilkan penghematan biaya sekitar 51,9% dibandingkan dengan metode PPB. Demikian pula, untuk lantai kedua, penghematan biaya sekitar 72,2%. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa teknik LFL merupakan teknik yang optimal untuk pengelolaan persediaan material dalam proyek konstruksi, memastikan ketersediaan material tepat waktu dan biaya penyimpanan minimal. Temuan ini memberikan kerangka praktis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengadaan dan menawarkan wawasan berharga bagi proyek konstruksi di masa depan yang ingin mengurangi biaya dan meningkatkan keandalan penjadwalan.ABSTRACT: Efficient material inventory management is critical in construction projects to avoid delays, cost overruns, and both shortages and surpluses of materials. This study investigates the optimization of material inventory management using the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) method, focusing on Lot Sizing techniques—Lot for Lot (LFL) and Part Period Balancing (PPB). A case study was conducted on the construction of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office in Banda Aceh. The research targeted reinforced concrete materials, such as cement, sand, and rebar, which are crucial for the project. Primary data was collected through field observations and interviews, while secondary data was obtained from project documentation, including the Bill of Materials (BOM), schedules, and cost breakdowns. Using MRP, the study calculated material requirements, procurement schedules, and costs for both LFL and PPB techniques. The findings revealed that the LFL technique significantly reduces costs and improves efficiency compared to the PPB method. For the first floor, the LFL technique resulted in a cost saving of approximately 51.9% compared to the PPB method. Similarly, for the second floor, the cost savings were around 72.2%. This study concluded that LFL is the optimal technique for material inventory management in construction projects, ensuring timely availability and minimal storage costs. These findings provided a practical framework for improving procurement efficiency and offered valuable insights for future construction projects seeking to reduce costs and enhance scheduling reliability.
