Abstract

Pulau Sewangi Village is a village located in Pulau Alalak District, Barito Kuala Regency. This village has a characteristic where the livelihood is shipbuilding. So from an economic point of view, it's good. However, in terms of health, education, facilities and infrastructure are very lacking. Therefore, place observations and create work programs that are useful for the local community. People's understanding of the dangers of the Covid-19 virus is still minimal, therefore socialization and education are carried out as a form of preventing the spread of the virus. The facilities and infrastructure in this village are inadequate because many important facilities are not available such as Puskesmas, pharmacies, junior high schools and high schools, making it difficult for residents who have an interest in this. With work programs such as health checks, small schools, and education on the prevention of the Covid-19 virus, as well as other programs, it is hoped that they can provide useful value for the local community.

Abstract

The wall magazine in an educational environment serves as a crucial tool in facilitating communication, disseminating information, and encouraging participation within the realm of learning. This community engagement project aims to introduce and implement wall magazine management concepts at Patih Selera Elementary School (SDN), with the goal of enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in information dissemination to students, teachers, parents, and the school community. The project methodology comprises several stages, including identifying needs and challenges in wall magazine management, developing management guidelines, conducting training for teachers and students regarding their contributions to content creation, as well as implementing and evaluating the outcomes. Developing students' skills in writing, designing, and managing magazine content is a primary focus of this initiative. Results of this engagement showcase significant improvements in collaborative efforts among teachers, students, and parents in gathering information, designing layouts, and distributing the wall magazine. Student involvement in the creative process and increased parental contributions in terms of feedback and support have collectively led to a more informative and relevant wall magazine. Additionally, structured and organized management optimizes production and distribution processes, expediting information dissemination. This engagement article sheds light on the implementation of wall magazine management within the elementary education context. The positive outcomes derived from this initiative contribute to fostering an environment of informed, engaged, and collaborative learning. The experiences shared in this project can potentially serve as a reference for other schools, aiding them in developing effective and sustainable wall magazine management practices

Abstract

This article discusses a community service programme in Tungkaran Village that focused on health education to prevent stunting. The programme included activities such as educating the community about stunting, providing nutrition counselling, offering health facilities, and promoting clean and healthy living. The programme resulted in increased knowledge and awareness about stunting prevention, the adoption of healthy habits, and improved access to health services. The active participation of the community, along with support from the village government and local health workers, played a key role in the programme's success. The outcomes of this programme are expected to have a lasting impact on the health and well-being of the Tungkaran Village community and can serve as a model for similar initiatives in other areas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan jenis tindak mengancam muka negatif (negative face threatening acts/FTA negatif) yang digunakan oleh tokoh-tokoh dalam film Pertaruhan The Movie. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah film Pertaruhan The Movie yaitu film laga Indonesia yang dirilis pada 9 Februari 2017 yang diproduksi oleh IFI Sinema, disutradarai oleh Krishto Damar Alam. Data yang dianalisis berupa kutipan tuturan tokoh dalam bentuk dialog yang menunjukkan ekspresi perintah, teguran, nasihat, saran, dorongan, usulan, hutang, janji, kemarahan, dan kebencian. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik simak dan catat, dengan menelaah tuturan verbal dalam transkrip dialog film. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 25 data tuturan yang ditemukan, terdapat tiga jenis FTA negatif yang dominan, yaitu: (1) ujaran yang menghambat kebebasan pendengar (perintah, teguran, ancaman), (2) ujaran yang menimbulkan tekanan emosional dan beban moral (permintaan mendesak, usulan ekstrem), dan (3) ujaran yang mengandung dorongan sarkastik, kemarahan, serta kebencian. Pilihan strategi bald on record mendominasi dalam komunikasi antartokoh, mencerminkan situasi sosial yang penuh tekanan, relasi kuasa yang timpang, dan kondisi psikologis yang tertekan. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa film dapat menjadi representasi nyata dari dinamika pragmatik dalam kehidupan sosial, serta memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis teks otentik dan kontekstual. Kata kunci: Tindak tutur, muka negatif, kesantunan, pragmatik

Abstract

The vehicle emission testing awareness programme in Panggung Village, Pelaihari Subdistrict, Tanah Laut Regency aims to raise public awareness of the importance of vehicle emission testing in controlling air pollution. Using a qualitative and participatory approach, this activity involves planning, material preparation, practical demonstrations, and ongoing assistance. Program results show a significant increase in community understanding of vehicle emissions testing and its impact on health and the environment. 85% of participants reported feeling more aware of the importance of emissions testing, and 60% began regularly conducting emissions testing on their vehicles. Practical demonstrations using Arduino-based tools and gas sensors successfully improved community skills in conducting emissions testing. Ongoing support ensures sustainable implementation. This programme provides an effective model for increasing community participation in air pollution control in rural areas and can be applied in other villages facing similar challenges.
