Abstract

In an increasingly competitive and dynamic business environment, MSMEs must strengthen both operational efficiency and human resource capabilities to sustain and improve their performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of Supply Chain Management (SCM) on the performance of MSMEs by examining the mediating role of Human Resource Management Practices (HRMP). The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey of 113 MSME owners. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (Smart PLS) version 4.0.1. The results reveal that SCM has a positive and significant effect on both MSME performance and HRMP. Likewise, HRMP also positively and significantly affects MSME performance. These findings indicate that effective SCM implementation, including efficient procurement, inventory management, and distribution, enhances business performance when supported by effective HR practices such as training, compensation systems, and internal communication. However, HRMP does not significantly mediate the relationship between SCM and MSME performance. Therefore, MSME performance improvement is more strongly driven by direct SCM implementation rather than through HRMP mediation, implying that better integration between supply chain strategies and human resource management is essential to achieve optimal performance.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to improve the multimedia skills of the HKBP Rogate Waena Church youth in Jayapura City to support creative and adaptive church services in line with technological developments. The activity was carried out in August 2025, involving 40 participants: youth, categorical administrators, and church councils. The implementation methods included material delivery, simulations, and practice in digital content creation and forming a church multimedia team. Evaluation was carried out through pre- and post-test instruments and practice observation sheets. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge, from an average of 82% before training to 100% after training. Practical observations also demonstrated mastery of technical skill with an "excellent" rating in application use, content creativity, and suitability for worship. The outcomes achieved included increased participant knowledge and skills, simple multimedia content products, forming a Church Multimedia Team, and drafting scientific articles. The impact of the activity can be analyzed from four dimensions: strengthening the church organization, increasing youth social participation, optimizing the use of multimedia technology, and academic contributions. Overall, this program is considered adequate and has the potential to be replicated in other churches or communities facing similar challenges

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out as Career Planning and Development Training for Young Workers in Buper Waena, Jayapura City, in response to the high open unemployment rate among the productive age group. The main problems faced by participants were a lack of knowledge about career management, limitations in structuring career plans, and a lack of professional networking skills. The implementation method included the planning stage (preparation of materials and coordination with partners), implementation (socialization of career management, practice of SMART-based career plan development, and communication and networking simulations), and evaluation (pre- and post-tests and practice observation). The activity results showed a significant increase in knowledge, with the average pre-test score of 76% increasing to 100% in the post-test. Skills were also optimally achieved, with all participants (100%) able to develop SMART career plans, map professional networks through the Webbed approach, and demonstrate good to excellent professional communication skills. The impact of the activity included increased individual career awareness, the readiness of the young workforce to face the job market, and the strengthening of institutional networks with the Jayapura City Manpower Office. Thus, this activity not only increased conceptual understanding but also built relevant applied competencies, improving the competitiveness of the young workforce.
