Abstract

The study conducted at the National Potential Young Athletes Training Center (SLOMPN) of Unesa provides a crucial perspective on the use of an Android-based match statistics application. The research aims to optimize athletes' potential through the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) approach, integrating knowledge of athlete development with the application of technology in training. The survey results from 5 coaches indicate that the application aids in planning training, understanding application features, and assessing athlete development with positively skewed average scores. However, there is room for improvement, especially in terms of comfort during matches and communication with athletes. Meanwhile, 18 athletes showed positive acceptance of the application by rating its ease of use and impact on performance enhancement highly. Nevertheless, there is a need for improvement in injury recovery features and data security. This study underscores the importance of continuous collaboration between application developers and users to enhance the effectiveness of technology in sports training.

Abstract

In the 2013 curriculum there are various learning materials that can be implemented by students as a means of physical activity, one of which is shooting free throw, in this material students have difficulty in understanding and lack of skill in implementation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the explicit instruction model on shooting free throw learning outcomes. The type of research used is a pre-experiment with a one group pretest posttest design. The research sample was selected using cluster random sampling technique, consisting of 32 students of class VI-D SDN Rungkut Menanggal I/582 Surabaya. The research instrument used was a learning outcome test, which included a knowledge test in the form of 10 multiple choice questions, and a skill test in the form of 10x free throw shooting. Through the results of the Wilcoxon test and the results of the percentage increase, the knowledge showed a p-Value of 0.00 (sig <0.05) with an increase of 62.83%. Process-oriented skills show p-Value 0.00 (sig < 0.05) with an increase of 231%. Meanwhile, product-oriented skills showed a p-Value of 0.80 (sig ≥ 0.05). The results showed that the application of the explicit instruction model had an effect on the learning outcomes of free throw shooting in the aspects of knowledge and process-oriented skills, but had no effect on the aspects of product-oriented skills.

Abstract

PJOK plays an important role in movement activities for students at school. In the learning process, there are learning methods that can be used, one of which is the peer teaching method. PJOK material in junior high school has big ball games, one of which is basketball. This study aims to find out whether the application of peer teaching learning methods can improve basketball shooting free throw learning outcomes. This study used an experimental method with a randomized control group pre-test post-test design. The instruments used in this study are knowledge and skill tests. The study sample used cluster random sampling with class VIII A as the experimental class and VIII E as the control class with a total of 64 students. The results showed that the use ofpeer teachinglearning methods can improve the learning outcomes of shooting free throw basketball grade VIII at SMP.The value of increasinglearning outcomes in the medium category, namely knowledge increased by54.51% and skills by 42.40%.

Abstract

Locomotor movement skills are movement skills that are often or even always performed by a person. During childhood, a child will start their locomotor activities through the family environment and then move on to the school environment through physical education. This study aims to measure the level of locomotor movement skills of students at the elementary school level. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method. This study was attended by 46 students from elementary schools with the age of 9-10 years or grade 3 elementary school. The TGMD-2 instrument was used as a test instrument in this study. The results showed that locomotor movement skills were dominated by running skills. This result is proven by the number of students who obtained the maximum score of 31 students. In gallop skills, students experience obstacles with the acquisition of a minimum score of 19 students. Based on these results, students' locomotor movement skills obtained significant results in the run variable. Appropriate interventions still need to be carried out to improve locomotor skills in the gallop variable.

Abstract

Physical fitness is essential for supporting students' daily activities and learning. This study aims to evaluate the physical fitness of students at SMP Negeri 63 Surabaya, specifically those in class VII D and VIII C, and to compare it between male and female students. The research method used was non-experimental with a comparative design, and data analysis was conducted using the Mann Whitney test and Cluster Random Sampling technique. The instrument for measuring physical fitness was the Tes Kebugaran Pelajar Nusantara (TKPN) and a questionnaire based on the TKPN guidelines. The results showed no significant difference in physical fitness between students in class VII D and VIII C, with a p-value of 0.3 (p > 0.05), indicating that their fitness levels were relatively similar. However, there was a significant difference based on gender. Male students had better physical fitness than female students, with a p-value of 0.00 (p < 0.05). Male students were in the "sufficient" category with an average score of 2.05, while female students were in the "poor" category with an average score of 1.2. Overall, both class VII and VIII students were in the "poor" category, with average scores of 1.15 for class VII and 1.25 for class VIII. This indicates the need for improvement in students' physical fitness.
