Abstract

Learning conditions during this pandemic have limited direct teacher and student meetings. Online learning in SMK has several obstacles, such as the lack of appropriate learning media, which impacts student learning outcomes. This study aims to produce a simulation model of multimedia products in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects in Vocational Schools. This type of research is development. This study uses the Bergman & Moore development model. The feasibility test was obtained based on expert studies conducted by material experts and media and learning design experts. The data collection technique used a formative evaluation instrument. This product development uses quantitative data analysis techniques and qualitative data analysis techniques. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The feasibility test results show that the multimedia with the simulation model developed is in the very feasible category with an average value of 83.7%. The effectiveness test was conducted by giving pre-test and post-test to class X SMK students with analysis using the N-Gain formula. The effectiveness test results showed that the average score of students before using multimedia was 51.33 and after using multimedia was 78.67. It was concluded that learning using multimedia could improve student learning outcomes. Multimedia can make it easier for students to understand learning materials.

Abstract

Diving training at Basarnas is constrained by distance so that it has an impact on the performance of employees' duties as individuals. This study aims to develop a flipped classroom for diving environment training for rescuers and obtain results to assess their feasibility. This study produces a research design and learning development with steps and procedures, namely using a multimedia-based learning design with stages ranging from assessment and needs analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The techniques used to analyze the data are qualitative and quantitative analysis. The development steps taken refer to the web-based learning design combined with the PEDATI model at the design stage. The feasibility test is obtained based on the assessment of experts including material experts, learning design experts and media experts as well as testing for users to get suggestions for improvement. From the results of this study, it was found that the evaluation of training material experts with a total percentage value of 94.79%, expert validation of learning design 90.27%, and validation by instructional media experts 90.38%. The results of the individual one-to-one test are concluded to be very valid and can be used without revision, and for tests in small groups the average assessment is very valid without revision. It can be concluded that Flipped Classroom learning is suitable for use in diving environment training using cooperative learning.

Abstract

The lack of variety of learning is carried out by Homeschooling, while Homeschooling is required to be more creative, independent, and innovative. Blended learning will be an innovative learning option and according to the character of Homeschooling. This study aims to develop blended learning in science subjects with the WISE approach in Homeschooling. The research is entitled development research (R&D). The development method uses a flipped learning model with a web-based design model with data collection using data triangulation. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The product will go through an evaluation process from experts and evaluate its feasibility and effectiveness. Expert reviews consist of reviews of media experts and learning design experts and reviews of material and language experts. The feasibility stage is carried out by one-to-one test, small group test, and field test. In comparison, the effectiveness test is carried out to summative evaluation by calculating the N-Gain score. The final result states that blended learning is feasible with an average of 3.5 on expert reviews, which is very good and effective with the calculation results of the average N-Gain 0.61 in the excellent category. So with Blended Learning, learning in Homeschooling becomes creative, innovative, and independent. The research implication is that the application of blended learning in Homeschooling will increase a pleasant learning atmosphere.

Abstract

The development of Industry 4.0, the rapid advancement of science and technology demands many changes from various human lives. In this era, there were also many positive and negative impacts, but they did not protect themselves, especially teenagers, with potential high school characters, their behavior distorted moral and moral decadence among teenagers. To be able to adapt to these changes make education as a spearhead and a powerful antidote especially character education. This research is development (R&D). In this research purpose to develop a character education learning module contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach of PKn subject. This research method refers to the development model of Derek Rowntree and Dick &Carry. The development procedure through three stages, the first stage uses Dick & Carry model until the seventh step is selecting and developing. In the second and third stages using Derek Rowntree model. Review process through reviews of media expert and instructional design expert and reviews of media and language experts. To the target, a one-to-one test was conducted, small group test and field test. Evaluation is carried out until summative evaluation with calculations N-Gain Score to measure the level of effectiveness. The result of effectiveness state that the student character learning module in PKn subject is effective in used.

Abstract

The development of the era and the 4.0 revolution requires universities to be able to answer challenges to face technological advances and competition in the world of work in the era of globalization. Online learning is a form of learning that can answer the times, technological advances and knowledge of learning development in universities. This study aims to design the online learning with Project Based Learning approach in the Human Performance Technology course. This study uses the R&D method in designing online learning. The online learning design is carried out using the PEDATI model. The PEDATI model itself has several design steps starting from formulating online learning, mapping material, determining asynchronous or synchronous and designing the selected learning path. Asynchronous learning at PEDATI which consists of, deepening, applying and evaluating with a project-based learning approach that has six steps. The results of the research resulted in an online learning design which consisted of formulating learning outcomes, mapping materials, making asynchronous learning flows combined with project-based learning syntax. Selection of materials, forms of discussion, assignments to evaluation forms can be arranged in such a way and combined with the LMS used. Online learning designs that are designed with the right learning activities can make learning more meaningful for students. With online learning, face-to-face learning can be a means of discussion rather than just delivering material.

Abstract

The construction and property business expertise program have obstacles in learning activities for Construction and Property Cost Estimation, namely the lack of face-to-face time in class. In addition, the limitations of space and the density of material cause learning activities not to run optimally. This study aims to create an enriched virtual classroom with a STAD approach on the subject of Construction Cost Estimation. This research is development research (R&D) and uses the PEDATI model in designing learning. The subjects of this study were 59 students who took Cost and Construction Estimates. The methods used to collect data are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results of the study resulted in an enriched virtual classroom learning design. Material selection, STAD discussion forms, assignments, and evaluation forms are arranged in such a way and combined with the LMS used. With the enriched virtual classroom, learning will be more varied to enrich the student learning experience.

Abstract

Laboratory is a place where students can recognize and utilize the working system of tools and materials and allow students to gain practical skills through experimentation. However, practicum cannot always be carried out due to limited tools and materials. A virtual laboratory is a media that is made similar and can simulate real laboratory conditions to practice before entering the real laboratory. Therefore the aims of this study is developing virtual laboratory for practical learning in vocational education using nine events of instruction approach. The approach used in this research is the approach of nine instructional events 9 instructional events (9 events in learning) which can be applied in the conventional learning process (face-to-face) and online learning. approach taken in this research is a product-oriented learning development approach and uses a model development. The selection of respondents in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The selected sample is class XII students of vocational high school. Data collection techniques use observations, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The data that has been collected needs to be analyzed using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. This research and development found virtual laboratory for practical learning in vocational education using the nine events of instruction approach which in this approach in learning is a systematic process that has a behavioral approach with a focus on outcomes or behavior during the learning process.
