Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kurikulum merdeka belajar di sekolah penggerak meliputi aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian dan pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Dalam proses perencanaan kurikulum, seluruh elemen sekolah mulai dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, staf, guru, hingga peserta didik mampu beradaptasi dan menaruh minat dalam pengenalan tentang kurikulum merdeka (2) Melalui musyawarah, kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru saling berkolaborasi dalam menyusun pengorganisasian kurikulum merdeka. Mulai dari jadwal pembelajaran, modul ajar, metode ajar, hingga hal-hal pendukung lainnya disusun dengan beragam penyesuaian berdasarkan hasil diskusi. (3) Terdapat banyak perubahan signifikan dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka, di antaranya adalah pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, kompetensi dalam digitalisasi pendidikan, fleksibilitas dalam belajar, dan metode belajar yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan kompetensi peserta didik. Terdapat tantangan dan kekurangan dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka, walaupun demikian hal tersebut dapat diatasi dan senantiasa berusaha ditingkatkan penerapannya dalam lingkungan sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Kabanjahe. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan karena kurikulum merdeka dianggap sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan global di era sekarang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah, motivasi guru, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kota Binjai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada latar multisitus, yakni 7 SMA Negeri di Kota Binjai. Dilaksanakan sejak Juni-Agustus 2023. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan teknik penyebaran angket terhadap 84 orang. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan teknik uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa variabel kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah, motivasi guru dan kinerja guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja guru sebesar 88,6%. Artinya, semakin positif dan tinggi variabel bebas (X1, X2, X3) maka semakin positif dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to describe curriculum development during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP IT Mutiara, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. A qualitative approach is used in this study with the case study method. In an effort to reveal the facts and phenomena surrounding the curriculum development, the researchers collected data through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study concluded that the development of the IT Mutiara Middle School learning curriculum during the Covid-19 pandemic was managed effectively, also taking into account the principles of safety and security for school residents according to applicable regulations. This is marked by 5 aspects, namely (1) the planning aspect, including meetings with the management and teachers of SMP IT Mutiara, consultation with the school's managerial supervisor, and approval of the plan from the Deli Serdang education office, (2) organizational aspects, including the curricular with an eye group A and B lessons, co-curricular, extra-curricular with scouts and tahfiz of the Qur'an, as well as local content on information and communication technology (ICT) material, (3) implementation aspects, five days (Monday-Friday) effective learning days , Saturdays extracurricular activities with the person in charge of the teachers who have been determined, (4) aspects of supervision, including direct supervision by the school principal and school managerial supervisors, related to academic administration and services, and (5) evaluation aspects including a review of the achievement of goals and process of the learning system, so that curriculum implementation can be analyzed, making accountability reports, and recommendations for next steps.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam Penelitian ini adalah menunjukkan bahwa belum optimalnya proses pembelajaran khususnya, dalam kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional, kompetensi sosial, kompetensi kepribadian dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru di SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar. Tujuan Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dimana peneliti langsung meneliti ke lapangan. Dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar. Adapun informan penelitian ini berjumlah 4 orang yaitu: kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah dan guru mata pelajaran. Untuk menganalisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk memeriksa keabsahan data menggunakan uji credibility dengan, menggunakan teknik triangulasi, uji transferability, dependability, dan confirmability. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan tiga temuan yaitu: (1) perencanaan program supervisi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru sudah tersusun dengan benar sesuai dengan ketentuan yang ada, (2) teknik supervisi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru adalah dengan menggunakan teknik supervisi secara individu dan kelompok, (3) evaluasi supervisi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dilihat dari kinerja yang ditunjukkan guru, dengan adanya kegiatan supervisi ini guru sangat terbantu dalam menghadapi setiap masalah yang dihadapi berkaitan dengan kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Teachers in remote schools often experience psychological stress and professional burnout due to limited resources, heavy workloads, and lack of psychosocial support, which negatively affect both teacher well-being and learning quality. This community service program aims to enhance teachers’ mental well-being and professionalism through a Tech-Based Psychosocial Mentoring Innovation, supporting SDGs 3, 4, and 8, as well as University Key Performance Indicators (IKU) 3 and 7 by empowering educators in low-resource settings. The program was implemented in three stages: preparation (needs assessment, development of the “Healthy Teacher” psychosocial module, and creation of a Google Site–based Learning Management System), implementation (three-day training on stress management, emotional regulation, and reflective mentoring), and evaluation (using the WHO-5 Wellbeing Index, daily reflections, and focus group discussions). Results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ well-being, with WHO-5 scores increasing from moderate to good levels. Teachers also reported improved stress management, higher motivation, and stronger collegial support. The program produced ten psychoeducational videos, a digital LMS, and a sustainable reflective teacher community supported by two internal mentors. Overall, this innovation effectively enhanced teachers’ psychological well-being and professionalism in remote schools and can be replicated in other rural or low-resource educational settings to promote sustainable teacher well-being and school quality improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of profitability, liquidity, and solvency on firm value with firm size as a moderating variable in plantation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020–2024. Using a quantitative approach, this research employs the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method to analyze the relationships among variables. The sample consists of 18 plantation companies selected using purposive sampling based on the availability and completeness of financial statements. The results reveal that profitability and liquidity have a positive and significant effect on firm value, while solvency does not significantly affect firm value. Additionally, firm size is found to moderate the relationship between profitability and firm value but does not moderate the effects of liquidity and solvency. These findings highlight the importance of profitability and liquidity management in enhancing firm value, particularly in the plantation sector. The study contributes to the understanding of financial determinants affecting firm value and provides practical insights for investors and corporate decision-makers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial inclusion on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with financial literacy acting as a mediating variable. MSMEs play a vital role in economic growth; however, many business owners face challenges related to limited access to financial services and inadequate financial knowledge. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected from MSME owners through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that financial inclusion has a positive and significant effect on MSME performance, demonstrating that access to banking services, credit facilities, and digital financial platforms supports business growth and operational efficiency. Financial inclusion also significantly influences financial literacy, suggesting that greater exposure to financial services enhances business owners’ financial knowledge and skills. Furthermore, financial literacy has a significant positive effect on MSME performance and is proven to mediate the relationship between financial inclusion and performance. These findings imply that financial inclusion alone is insufficient without adequate financial literacy to ensure effective utilization of financial resources. Therefore, improving financial education alongside expanding access to financial services is essential to strengthen MSME sustainability and competitiveness. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and financial institutions in developing strategies to enhance MSME performance through inclusive and educational financial systems.
