Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and spiritual capital on the performance of MSMEs in Kwala Serapuh Langkat Village, with competence as a moderating variable. Motivation and spiritual capital are seen as important factors that can affect the performance of MSMEs, while competence plays a role as a moderating variable that can strengthen or weaken this influence. The research method used is a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to MSME actors in Kwala Village, Serapuh Langkat. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the help of SmartPLS 2. software to test the effect of competency moderation on the relationship between motivation, spiritual capital, and MSME performance. The results of the study show that motivation and spiritual capital have a positive and significant influence on the performance of MSMEs in Kwala Village, Serapuh Langkat. In addition, competence has not been proven to moderate the influence of motivation and spiritual capital on the performance of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, organizational culture, and communication on employee performance at PT Ukindo Blankahan Mill, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. A quantitative approach with a survey method is used to collect data from a sample of employees in the company. The research sample was determined through a saturated sample technique, and data was collected using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to determine the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable using SPSS version 25 data processing tools. The results of the study show that leadership style has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, which means that effective leaders can increase productivity and work efficiency. Organizational culture has also been found to have a significant effect on performance, suggesting that the values and norms applied in the organization can increase employee motivation and engagement. Communication, as the last variable, does not have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Simultaneously, the variables of leadership style, organizational culture, and communication have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT UKINDO.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengelolaan lingkungan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan upaya mitigasi terhadap kesadaran Generasi Z di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 46 responden Generasi Z di Kota Medan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan lingkungan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesadaran Generasi Z (B = 0,410; β = 0,372; t = 3,238; sig. = 0,002). Pemberdayaan masyarakat juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesadaran Generasi Z (B = 0,463; β = 0,502; t = 4,349; sig. = 0,000). Selain itu, upaya mitigasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesadaran Generasi Z (B = 0,286; β = 0,274; t = 2,554; sig. = 0,014). Secara simultan, pengelolaan lingkungan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, dan upaya mitigasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesadaran Generasi Z (F = 17,530; sig. = 0,000). Nilai R Square sebesar 0,556 menunjukkan bahwa 55,6% variasi kesadaran Generasi Z dapat dijelaskan oleh ketiga variabel independen, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 44,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) telah lama menjadi tulang punggung perekonomian Indonesia, dengan kontribusi sebesar 61% terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) dan kemampuan menyerap hingga 97% dari total tenaga kerja nasional. Di tengah pesatnya perkembangan teknologi, pelaku UMKM dituntut untuk mampu beradaptasi dengan ekosistem digital, termasuk dalam hal penerapan strategi e-commerce dan inovasi berbasis teknologi. Tantangan ini terasa lebih nyata di kalangan pelaku UMKM Generasi Z di Kota Binjai, yang meskipun tumbuh bersama teknologi, masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam mengoptimalkan potensi digitalnya secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi pengembangan digital (X_1), marketing e-commerce (X_2), inovasi digital (X_3), dan variabel pendukung (X_4) terhadap kinerja pelaku UMKM Generasi Z di Kota Binjai (Y). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan instrumen kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 50 responden melalui teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan keempat variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM, dengan nilai F-hitung sebesar 5.976 dan signifikansi 0,000. Secara parsial, variabel Inovasi Digital X3 dan Variabel Pendukung X4 terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha, di mana variabel X4 menjadi faktor yang paling dominan dengan nilai t-hitung .543 dan signifikansi 0,000. Sementara itu, variabel X1 dan X2 tidak menunjukkan pengaruh parsial yang signifikan. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,503 menunjukkan bahwa 50,3% variasi kinerja UMKM Generasi Z dapat dijelaskan oleh keempat variabel dalam penelitian ini. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya penguatan infrastruktur dan lingkungan pendukung digital secara terpadu bagi pelaku UMKM muda di Kota Binjai.

Abstract

Using work discipline as a mediating variable, this study investigates how competency, training, and leadership style affect employee engagement at Dinas Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman Kota Binjai. PLS-SEM, or partial least squares structural equation modeling, was the quantitative method employed in the study. Non-civil servant (non-ASN) employees who actively participate in the day-to-day activities of the department were among the respondents. According to the study, employee engagement was significantly impacted by competency, training, and leadership style. The relationship between these three distinct elements and employee engagement is strengthened by work discipline, which serves as a mediator. These findings suggest that improving employee engagement can be achieved through effective leadership, relevant training programs, enhanced employee competence, and the reinforcement of work discipline. The practical implication of this study is that organizations should implement integrated managerial strategies to create a productive, disciplined, and highly committed workforce

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, work commitment, and employee attachment on employee performance at PT INGCO. Employee performance is a key factor that determines the success of an organization in the face of increasingly competitive business competition. This type of research is quantitative research with a causal associative approach.  The population in this study is all employees of PT INGCO which currently amounts to 85 employees, and the entire population is used as a research sample (saturated sampling). The data collection method used a questionnaire with a Likert scale, and the data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study showed that: (1) Leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a calculated t value of 4.151 t table of 1.990 and a significance of 0.001 0.05, with a regression coefficient of 0.418 and Beta of 0.432 which was the most dominant influence; (2) Work commitment has no significant effect on employee performance with a calculated t value of 1.602 table 1.990 and a significance of 0.113 0.05; (3) Employee attachment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a calculated t-value of 2.197 t table of 1.990 and significance 0.031 0.05, with a regression coefficient of 0.288; (4) Simultaneously, leadership style, work commitment, and employee attachment have a significant effect on employee performance with an F value of 61.349 F table 2.72 and a significance of 0.001. A determination coefficient value (R²) of 0.694 indicates that 69.4% of employee performance variations can be explained by all three independent variables, while the remaining 30.6% are explained by other factors outside the study model
