Abstract

The problem in this study is low self-regulation in student learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of counseling services in the assertive training group in improving self-regulation in learning. This research method is quasi-experimental with pretest and posttest design. The research subjects were 10 students who had low self-regulation in learning. Data collection techniques use a self-regulation scale in learning. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test. The results showed that the assertive training group counseling services could improve self-regulation in learning. This is in accordance with the results of the analysis obtained by zcount = -2.805 ztable = 1,645 so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that the assertive training group counseling can be used to improve self-regulation in learning for class XI students of 15 Bandar Lampung Public High School 2018/2019.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah regulasi diri dalam belajar siswa yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan layanan konseling kelompok assertive training dalam meningkatkan regulasi diri dalam belajar. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment dengan pretest and posttest design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 10 siswa yang memiliki regulasi diri dalam belajar rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala regulasi diri dalam belajar. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan konseling kelompok assertive training dapat meningkatkan regulasi diri dalam belajar. Hal ini sesuai hasil analisis yang diperoleh zhitung = -2.805 ztabel = 1,645 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya konseling kelompok assertive training dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan regulasi diri dalam belajar pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Kata kunci: bimbingan dan konseling, konseling kelompok, assertive training, regulasi diri

Abstract

The aims this study for examine the achievement level of student's career in terms of Ginsberg's career theory, after that which will be pursued what counseling service can be used to help students complete the task of career development. The research approach that used is quantitative descript. The population of this research is FKIP UNILA students. In the determination of the research sample, researchers used random sampling of 91 students. Data were collected by Likert Scale, and analyzed with mean hypotetic. The results of this research indicate that (1) the level of achievement of the career of FKIP UNILA students are in medium category, and the level of achievement of the career development task is decreased from the fantasy-tentatif-realistic phase, (2) the implication of the level career achievement task of development FKIP UNILA student is in the medium category, and the level achievement of career development task is decreasing from the fantasy-tentatif-realistic phase. Implications toward counseling services. There is a continuous, planned, and needs-based career guidance program, career information services are held, career visits and future studies are held, while counselors have implications for the need to increased competence and professionalism.

Abstract

Anyone can experience stressful conditions. The students are no exception when completing the final task (thesis). Students are required to be able to study independently with various targets that must be met through direct guidance from supervisors. The condition of students at this stage is vulnerable to various problems that can lead to stress conditions. This stress will be beneficial for students when they are well tolerated. However, not all students can tolerate the stress they experience. This is influenced by the level of hardiness possessed by each student. The importance of hardiness in its role in tolerating academic distress experienced by students in writing a thesis encourages educational practitioners, especially counselors, to provide counseling services that can touch on the hardiness aspect. The need for this service model encourages researchers to develop a model of group counseling services based on stress inoculation training in developing hardiness to increase students' academic distress tolerance in preparing a thesis. Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa di FKIP Unila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam adakah hubungan antara self esteem dengan motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa FKIP Unila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa FKIP Unila sebanyak 80 mahasiswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Alat pengukuran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa skala self esteem dan skala motivasi berprestasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan correlation product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self esteem dengan motivasi berprestasi, dimana perolehan nilai rhitung = 0,693 dan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi self esteem maka semakin baik pula motivasi berprestasi mahasiswa FKIP Universitas Lampung.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membekali mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri, sehingga mahasiswa memiliki keyakinan diri dan dorongan untuk menyelesaikan studi tepat waktu ketika memasuki semester akhir dalam perkuliahan. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa FKIP Unila yang berada di semester 6 sebanyak 50 orang yang terdiri dari berbagai ragam program studi yang ada di FKIP Unila. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah melalui Achievement Motivation Training (AMT), dengan metode informative-partisipatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran hasil dari Achievement Motivation Training (AMT). Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah (1) Mahasiswa mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai motivasi dan pentingnya efikasi diri dalam kehidupan, (2) Minat dan keyakinan mahasiswa untuk menunjukkan prestasi dalam bentuk penyelesaian studi tepat waktu, (3) Mahasiswa memiliki semangat untuk berani menghadapi tantangan proses penyelesaian studi, (4) Mahasiswa memiliki strategi dalam meningkatan efikasi diri agar lulus tepat waktu.

Abstract

Health is a basic need for every individual. Health is not only related to physical health, but also mental health. Psychological wellbeing is a manifestation of an individual's mental health. Psychological wellbeing is positively correlated with social support, internal locus of control, optimism, job satisfaction, self-efficacy, contextual performance, gratitude, resilience, and job involvement. Individual processes to achieve psychological wellbeing need to be pursued through the provision of systematic guidance services. Information service is one of the important services to be implemented because every individual is basically thirsty for information. Information can be used by individuals to increase their knowledge and understanding of the concept of psychological wellbeing. This community service is designed to implement psychological wellbeing information services with educational comic media. Educational comics media are considered to be more effective in delivering information, more varied so that they do not become saturated, and can be accessed wherever they are.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide guidance and counseling teacher understanding and knowledge and skills in preparing and evaluating comprehensive guidance and counseling programs in schools. The methods used to achieve these objectives, namely: (1) presentation of the material; presents an analysis of various programming concepts and how to evaluate them; (2) brainstorming; dig up information related to participants' understanding and efforts that have been made and (3) practice; improve the ability of participants in preparing and evaluating programs. The training activities were carried out for 2 days at SMKN 1 Kota Agung Barat with 40 guidance and counseling teachers participating in the Guidance and Counseling Teacher Consultation (MGBK) for SMA and SMK in Tanggamus Regency. The results of this community service activity show that the level of understanding of the guidance and counseling teachers on the concepts and praxis of the guidance and counseling assessment has increased with an average capacity improvement score of 24.11% from before the training was carried out. The percentage increase shows that the training is beneficial to participants in preparing and evaluating programs.
