Abstract

Pendidikan Pancasila mempunyai peranan krusial untuk membentuk karakter siswa sekolah dasar. Penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila sejak dini diharapkan dapat melahirkan generasi yang berkarakter kuat, berintegritas, dan memiliki rasa bangga yang tinggi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pendidikan Pancasila dalam membentuk karakter siswa SD. Metode yang diterapkan pada ini ialah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan pengumpulan data dari berbagai literatur terkait. Temuan studi menjabarkan bahwa pendidikan Pancasila berperan signifikan dalam membentuk karakter siswa melalui penanaman nilai-nilai agama, kemanusiaan, persatuan, demokrasi, dan keadilan sosial. Pelaksanaan pendidikan Pancasila dapat dilakukan melalui pembelajaran terpadu, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan proyek penguatan profil siswa Pancasila. Namun demikian, ada berbagai permasalahan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya lahan, kompetensi guru, dan pengaruh lingkungan sosial. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pelatihan bagi guru, pengembangan bahan ajar yang relevan, dan kolaborasi antara sekolah dengan keluarga dan masyarakat untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut. Maka, pendidikan Pancasila mempunyai fungsi krusial dalam membentuk karakter siswa sekolah dasar yang memiliki integritas dan rasa kebangsaan yang tinggi.

Abstract

Penerapan metode diskusi kelompok dalam Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di sekolah dasar memiliki peranan yang sangat penting untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode ini memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk berpartisipasi secara aktif, menyampaikan pendapat, dan menganalisis informasi dengan lebih mendalam. Melalui proses diskusi, siswa tidak hanya memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang materi, tetapi juga mengasah kemampuan komunikasi, kerja sama, dan sikap toleransi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas diskusi kelompok dalam pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa penggunaan metode diskusi efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dengan melibatkan mereka dalam analisis, evaluasi, dan refleksi terhadap isu-isu sosial. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kelemahan, seperti kurangnya partisipasi aktif dari sebagian siswa dan kebutuhan waktu yang lebih lama, manfaat yang diperoleh jauh lebih besar dalam membangun pemikiran kritis dan sikap demokratis. Oleh karena itu, Penggunaan metode diskusi dipandang sebagai salah satu strategi yang ampuh untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties faced by elementary school students in solving multiplication problems and the strategies implemented by teachers to address them. The background of this research lies in the importance of understanding multiplication as a foundational concept for mastering more advanced mathematical operations. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using interviews as the primary data collection technique. The findings revealed that students struggle with understanding multiplication as repeated addition, applying problem-solving strategies, and maintaining accuracy due to over-reliance on rote memorization without conceptual understanding. To overcome these issues, teachers implemented various strategies such as the use of interactive learning media, concrete manipulatives, game-based learning, gradual practice, and individualized guidance in collaboration with parents. These strategies have proven effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding, accuracy, and confidence in solving multiplication problems.

Abstract

Reading difficulties in elementary school students are a challenge that needs to be addressed immediately to support their academic development. Teachers have a very important role in identifying, understanding, and providing appropriate interventions for students who experience reading difficulties. This study aims to determine the role of teachers in overcoming reading difficulties in elementary school students, as well as to determine what factors inhibit reading difficulties in elementary school students. The results of the study indicate that teachers play a role in providing individual guidance, implementing various learning strategies, and creating a learning environment that supports the development of students' reading skills. In addition, cooperation between teachers, parents, and other educators also contributes to helping students overcome reading barriers. With a deeper understanding of the strategies implemented by teachers, it is hoped that this study can be a reference for educators in increasing the effectiveness of reading learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This studi aim to evaluate the effectiveness of the Ramadhan Pesantren Kilat program in improving the Religious Literacy of student at SDN 21 Kayu Aro, as well as to examine the sustainability of student’s practices after the program ends. Additionaly, this research also aims to assess the role of parents in supporting the continuity of religions learning at home. The method used in a qualitative approach with a desctiptive evaluative method, involving direct observation of students and teachers during the activities, as well as the involvement of parent in supporting students’ religious practices after the program conludes. The findings of thisstudy indicate that while the program successfully improved students’ understanding and practice of religious rituals, the sustainability of these habits after the program heavily depends on the support from parents. Therefore, active involvement of parents in this program is crucial to ensure that the relegious practices instilleed during Pesantren Kilat can be maintained in the long term and become part of students’ daiyi routines. The use of technologi-based learning media, differentiated approaches, and collaboration between schools and parents is necessary to improve the sustainability on the program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher strategies in integrating basic mathematics concepts of plane and solid shapes with the daily lives of second-grade elementary school students. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects were a second-grade teacher and three students with different ability levels (high, medium, low) at SDN 03 Bandar Buat. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman data analysis techniques. The results show: (1) in the preparation stage, teachers prepare teaching modules, select concrete media, and plan varied methods; (2) in the implementation stage, teachers use contextual apperception, manipulative media, interactive questioning methods, and gradual learning; (3) obstacles include differences in student abilities, limited media, and lack of parental participation; (4) teacher efforts include individual approaches, use of real objects, and continuous assessment; (5) evaluation is conducted through observation, questioning, assignments, and presentations. The use of concrete media and connection to daily life proved effective in improving students' understanding of geometry concepts, although mastery levels vary according to individual abilities.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low academic achievement of students I IPAS instruction. This is due to teaching that remains teacher centred, suboptimal instructional modules, a lack of problem solving and group discussion, a failure to connect the material to everyday life, and minimal use of instructional media. These conditions result in student being less active, less motivated, and easily bored during the learning process. Therefore, learning, innovations are needed to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. This study aims to improve student learning oucomes through the application of a Wordwall assisted Deep Learning approach in fourth grade classrooms. The research design employed wa Clasroom Action Research (CAR) using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The study was conducted in two cycles, each comprising the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through both test and non test techniques. The research subjects consisted of a fourth grade theacher serving as an observer, the researcher as the practitioner, and 27 fourth grade stundents at SDN 05 Air Tawat Barat in Padang City. The research results indicate improvements in every aspect. The teaching module score increased from an average of 80,28 (C) in Cycle I to 95,23 (SB) in Cyle II. Theacer activity increased from 85,30 (B) to 95,23 (SB). Student activity increased from 80,49 (C) to 95,23 (SB). Students learning outcomes improved from 71,41 (C) in Cycle I to 85,18 (B) in Cyle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Wordwall assisted Deep Learning approach effectively improves student learning outcames.
