Abstract

Filsafat pendidikan memainkan peran kunci dalam pembentukan karakter siswa dengan menyediakan kerangka konseptual untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moral, etika, dan tujuan hidup dalam pendidikan, sehingga dapat mengimbangi pengaruh negative globalisasi dan membentuk siswa yang berkarakter, berintegritas, dan bertanggung jawab.(Situmorang et al., 2024). metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi literature untuk menggali konsep, teori, dan pemikiran mendasar dalam filsafat ilmu yang terkait dengan pendidikan karakter di era digital melalui analisis jurnal, buku, dan penelitian terdahulu dari berbagai sumber,termasuk perpustakaan digital dan database jurnal akademik.(Situmorang et al., 2024). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter memiliki landasan filosofis yang kuat, yang membekali pendidik dengan pemikiran yang mendalam tentang hubungan antara tujuan hidup dan pendidikan karakter.(Rahmadani et al., 2021) Pendidikan karakter juga membentuk budaya sekolah yang  yang berbasis nilai-nilai dan perilaku positif. Selain itu. Pendidikan karakter telah memenuhi syarat-syarat sebagai ilmu pengetahuan, termasuk landasan ontology, epistemology, dan aksiologi.(Gustiawan et al., 2023)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, profesionalisme guru, dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri 1 Haji Pemanggilan, Lampung Tengah. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan untuk mengungkap dinamika ketiga elemen tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berperan strategis dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif dan memotivasi guru melalui berbagai program pengembangan. Profesionalisme guru terlihat dari penerapan metode pembelajaran kontekstual, meskipun masih terdapat kendala pada integrasi teknologi. Partisipasi masyarakat, baik secara material maupun non-material, memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam mendukung program sekolah, meskipun dibatasi oleh kesenjangan ekonomi. Sinergi antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, profesionalisme guru, dan partisipasi masyarakat membentuk ekosistem pendidikan yang mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Namun, tantangan berupa keterbatasan anggaran, rendahnya literasi teknologi, dan pelatihan guru yang kurang aplikatif memerlukan perhatian lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pendekatan strategis yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Kata-kata Kunci : Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah; profesionalisme guru; partisipasi masyarakat; mutu pendidikan; pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

Salah satu hal penting dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswa adalah adanya guru yang inovatif dan kreatif dalam pengajaran. Implementasi manajemen inovasi dan kreativ sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kemajuan siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menerapkan manajemen inovatif dan kreativitas guru untuk meningkatkan prestasi siswa. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kreativitas dan inovasi memiliki dampak positif yang besar dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswa. Namun, penerapannya bukan tanpa kesulitan, termasuk kurangnya sumber daya, kebutuhan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan teknologi, pergeseran paradigma dalam pembelajaran, dan persyaratan untuk penilaian yang sesuai. Sebagai kesimpulan, salah satu elemen penting dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswa adalah penggunaan manajemen kreativitas dan inovasi oleh para pendidik. Pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dan lembaga profesional terkait harus bekerja sama untuk menyediakan sumber daya, pelatihan, dan dukungan yang diperlukan untuk melakukan hal ini. Hasilnya, para pendidik dapat memperlengkapi siswa mereka dengan lebih baik untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan dan menghasilkan generasi yang adaptif, inovatif dan kreatif.   Kata-kata Kunci : Prestasi, Kreativitas, Inovasi, Dan Manajemen

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and enhance character development practices among Grade 6 students at SDN Purut using an inquiry-based pedagogical approach grounded in epistemology and axiology. Employing Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a qualitative framework, the research unfolded in four phases: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. During the planning phase, a character education program was crafted to align with students' needs and pertinent values informed by the nature of knowledge and value theory regarding the significance and utility of education. The implementation phase focused on applying learning strategies designed to integrate character values such as discipline, responsibility, and empathy into everyday learning experiences. Data collection involved observation, in-depth interviews, and activity notes, which were subsequently analyzed through qualitative descriptive methods. The findings indicated that character education programs rooted in epistemology and axiology can enhance students' comprehension of character values while promoting constructive behavioral shifts within the school setting. This study adds to the advancement of value-centered teaching methods that can be utilized to enhance character education in primary schools.

Abstract

Drug abuse and juvenile delinquency are serious issues with significant implications for the future of Indonesia’s young generation, particularly among students of productive age. This community service activity was conducted in the form of legal counseling aimed at educating teenagers about the dangers of drugs and the legal consequences of deviant behavior. The methods employed included interactive lectures, group discussions, and legal case simulations to encourage active participation. The program was implemented at MTsN 05 Pulo Ampel, involving students as the main participants. The results indicated an increased understanding among participants regarding the risks of drug abuse, its impact on health and future prospects, and the importance of avoiding delinquent behavior. This activity is expected to serve as a preventive measure to reduce drug abuse and misconduct among teenagers while strengthening legal awareness from an early age.

Abstract

This study examines the role of principal instructional leadership in improving teacher performance. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 26 principals at Elementary Schools in Pontang District, Serang Regency, Banten. The data collection techniques used were interviews and observations. The results of this study illustrate that principals can manage schools to improve teacher teaching performance with models and strategies that are built in order to realize organizational goals. Dimensions or indicators of instructional leadership that can affect teacher teaching performance are developing missions and goals for improving school curriculum, developing professional learning communities, developing work environments and promoting academic learning climates.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of school principal leadership and school vision and mission on academic achievement, with student satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research is motivated by the critical role of leadership and strategic direction in shaping an effective learning environment, as well as how student satisfaction can strengthen these relationships. The study was conducted at SDN Bayongbong using a quantitative approach. The research method employed was a survey using questionnaires distributed to students, teachers, and school staff. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation to support the quantitative data. The results show that both principal leadership and the clarity of the school’s vision and mission have a significant positive effect on students’ academic performance. Furthermore, student satisfaction was found to mediate this relationship, indicating that higher student satisfaction enhances the influence of leadership and vision-mission on academic outcomes. These findings underscore the importance of strong strategic leadership and the formulation of an inclusive, student-centered vision and mission.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy skills are important foundations in the learning process at the primary education level. Literacy includes not only the ability to read and write, but also the understanding and effective use of written information. Meanwhile, numeracy involves the ability to use basic math concepts in everyday life. Although crucial, the results of international assessments such as PISA show that Indonesian students' literacy and numeracy skills are still low. To address this, various policies have been implemented, including the implementation of the National Assessment and the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. This paper presents a narrative literature study with a descriptive-qualitative approach of 35 SINTA and international indexed journal articles from 2020-2025. The results of the study show that effective strategies in improving literacy include the use of picture storybooks, contextual learning, digital technology, and cross-subject literacy. Numeracy improvement is helped by manipulative media, contextual approaches such as PMRI and digital-based educational games. Supporting factors such as teacher training and parental involvement play an important role, while key challenges include limited resources and teacher competencies. This study suggests the integration of innovative and collaborative approaches in learning design.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between teachers' teaching styles and students' learning motivation, considering the mediating role of students' academic achievement at Bulakan 1 Elementary School in Cilegon City for the 2024/2025 academic year.This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method.The research sample consists of 60 students who were purposively selected.The instruments used included a questionnaire on teacher teaching styles, student learning motivation, and academic achievement data taken from the second semester report cards.Data were analyzed using multiple regression tests and path analysis with the help of SPSS.The research results show that there is a positive and significant correlation between teaching style and student learning motivation.Additionally, academic achievement has proven to be a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between teaching style and student motivation.Thus, the teacher's teaching style contributes both directly and indirectly to students' learning motivation through the improvement of academic achievement.This research recommends the importance of improving the quality of teaching styles as a strategy to support students' motivation and academic achievement sustainably.

Abstract

This paper explores Jacques Rancière’s philosophical perspective on democracy, focusing on how his ideas challenge conventional understandings of political freedom and democratic order. Rather than viewing democracy as a fixed system with clear rules and outcomes, Rancière presents it as an ongoing, often disruptive process rooted in the assertion of political will. Through a critical-philosophical approach, this paper examines how Rancière’s thought sheds light on the tensions between law, political participation, and individual autonomy. It argues that democracy, for Rancière, is defined not by institutional structures but by the continuous struggle over who gets to speak, act, and be recognised in the political space. This reading reveals the unresolved and fragile nature of democratic life, where freedom and order are in constant negotiation. By situating Rancière within broader debates on political theory and democratic practice, the paper highlights how his critique opens new ways of thinking about the ethical and political challenges of contemporary democracy. In doing so, it also raises questions about how democratic ideals from the past can still hold value in addressing present-day issues, even as their meanings evolve. Ultimately, the paper argues that Rancière’s view encourages a more dynamic and inclusive understanding of democracy—one that remains open to rethinking and renewal.
