Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, kepemimpinan, dan tanggung jawab, dengan fokus pada bagaimana faktor-faktor ini berkontribusi terhadap terciptanya proses dan hasil pendidikan berkualitas. Kualitas pendidikan sangat penting dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia yang berubah dengan cepat, terutama di sektor pendidikan yang langsung berdampak pada masa depan kita. Untuk mencapai pendidikan berkualitas, kepemimpinan yang efektif di institusi pendidikan sangatlah krusial, dan kepala sekolah memegang peran penting sebagai penggerak utama dalam perbaikan pendidikan. Tugas kepala sekolah tidak hanya terbatas pada fungsi seremonial dan tugas administratif seperti menandatangani surat masuk; tanggung jawab utama mereka adalah memastikan dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah. Secara spesifik, peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan meliputi pemantauan dan evaluasi secara terus-menerus terhadap efektivitas program, perencanaan dan koordinasi tindakan strategis yang selaras dengan misi sekolah, serta membina komunikasi intensif dengan guru, siswa, orang tua, dan masyarakat luas. Upaya-upaya ini sangat penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan mencapai tujuan pendidikan sekolah.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the leadership role of school principals in improving the quality of education at Salukaili State Elementary School (SDN), Baras District. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. This approach was chosen because it allows researchers to explore information about the strategies implemented by the principal at SDN Salukaili in improving the quality of education. Through interviews with school principals, teachers and parents, as well as direct observations of school activities, this research succeeded in identifying several strategic steps taken by school principals. Some of the strategies identified in this research include teacher empowerment, results-based management, and change management. Teacher empowerment, as one of the main strategies, includes teacher professional development through training and workshops to improve their competence. Results-based management refers to the school principal's efforts to set clear performance indicators and ensure that every policy and decision taken is oriented towards improving student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the management of change carried out by the school principal aims to create an environment that supports innovation in the learning process, as well as ensuring positive changes in the education system at the school

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi peningkatan mutu sekolah melalui upaya peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 01 Kabupaten Tebo, Jambi. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggambarkan secara mendalam strategi peningkatan mutu sekolah melalui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa. trategi yang diterapkan mencakup tiga aspek utama: peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, penguatan lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif, dan optimalisasi manajemen sumber daya pendidikan. Peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dilakukan melalui pelatihan guru, penggunaan metode pengajaran inovatif, dan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses belajar mengajar. Lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung diciptakan dengan memperkuat pendidikan karakter, memberikan penghargaan bagi siswa berprestasi, dan meningkatkan keterlibatan orang tua. Di sisi manajemen, pemanfaatan anggaran secara efisien diarahkan pada pembaruan fasilitas pendidikan dan pengembangan perpustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi tersebut berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa, kemapuan siswa dalam menghitung numerasi, partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan akademik dan non-akademik, serta pencapaian hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua menjadi kunci keberhasilan dalam menciptakan sinergi untuk mendukung mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Education becomes the main foundation in facing the transformation of the 21st century which is marked by technological advances and rapid changes. Adaptation to these developments is needed to create individuals who are able to contribute to a dynamic global society. Therefore, the philosophy of education must be relevant to the needs of the times, especially in terms of epistemology and axiology. This study uses a library method with a literature review technique to analyze the role of character education as an axiology in the philosophy of science. Data sources include relevant books and journals. Discussion and results of the study show that 21st century education is not only oriented towards theory but also the integration of technology and inclusive skills. The philosophy of education serves as a guide to ethical values and the direction of education. The evolution of educational concepts from time to time shows the importance of adapting to change to form critical-thinking individuals in this technological era.

Abstract

Analyzing the relationship between philosophy learning and students' critical thinking skills at SD Negeri Tinggar 1 Curug District, Serang City is the focus of this research. Philosophy education provides a solid foundation for the development of students' critical thinking abilities, especially from an epistemological perspective. Through a teaching approach oriented towards philosophical conversation, open discussion, and problem solving, students are empowered to independently investigate, analyze, and evaluate knowledge. This research reveals how educators can create a learning atmosphere that supports the development of critical thinking skills by understanding philosophical concepts such as rationalism and empiricism. In addition, the integration of philosophy in the curriculum contributes to the development of critical thinking and reasoning skills necessary to face the challenges of the modern era. This research concludes that philosophy plays an important role in forming students who are not only able to think critically, but also creatively, so that they can become competent individuals and have high competitiveness in society.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization and innovation, society is increasing scientific research through science referring to existing assumptions and conjectures. With the development of increasingly sophisticated technology, society cannot filter out the good and bad impacts of this technology. People are easily influenced by existing information even though its truth has not been tested. Research must maintain integrity and honesty in every stage of research to ensure science does not deviate from the morality of moral and ethical responsibilities. Research must uphold this in every research process. The method used in conducting this research is the literature study research method, which is often called library research, by collecting data and analyzing data from written sources such as books, journals, scientific articles, research reports and other documents. (Juliangkary & Pujiwisata, 2022. The moral and ethical basics that must be implemented by scientists include honesty, obedience and social responsibility. The application of moral basics is very important in protecting public trust in educational science.

Abstract

Implementation of counseling guidance services increases students' positive discipline from the perspective of the philosophy of science through descriptions of the meaning, function and philosophical principles of counseling guidance, ontology in counseling guidance, epistemology in counseling guidance and axiology in counseling guidance. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature analysis as the main method. Data sources from various libraries such as books and scientific articles. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive. The research results show that the scientific basis for counseling guidance in an effort to improve students' positive discipline is in synergy with an ontological understanding of humans as complex and dynamic creatures, an interdisciplinary epistemological approach and an axiological commitment to individual welfare.

Abstract

This research aims to understand how Islamic Personal Development activities can contribute to the development of student character and identify the challenges faced in its implementation. It is hoped that good character education can shape students into individuals who are not only academically intelligent, but also have high morals and ethics in accordance with Pancasila values. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and document analysis. Interviews were conducted with teachers, students and parents to obtain a comprehensive perspective regarding Islamic Personal Development activities and their impact on character education. Observations were carried out during the activity to see directly the learning process and interactions between students and supervisors. Documentation taken includes curriculum, teaching materials and relevant activity records. The collected data was then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques to find themes that emerged from the research results. The results of the research show that Islamic Personal Development activities at SMPIT Al-Izzah Serang have succeeded in integrating Pancasila values into the student character learning process. Data shows that 90% of students feel they understand Pancasila values better after participating in this activity, and 90% of parents report positive changes in their children's behavior, such as being more disciplined and responsible.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of philosophy of science in the learning process of students at SDN Bulakan I. Philosophy of science has a major contribution in developing students' critical and analytical thinking skills. Through a qualitative approach with a case study at SD Bulakan 1, data were collected through observation and interviews with teachers and students. The results of the study indicate that the application of philosophy of science in learning can improve students' critical and analytical thinking skills, as well as increase curiosity and motivation to learn. Learning is integrated with discussion, reflection, and problem solving, which encourages students to be more actively involved. Teachers reported increased student engagement and their ability to connect abstract concepts with everyday life.Overall ,philosophy of science has been shown to have apositive impact on students'cognitive deelopment and thequality of learning at SD Bulakan 1.
