Abstract

Job Safety Analysis method is a safety management technique that focuses on identifying hazards and controlling hazards related to the series of work or tasks to be carried out. One of the causes of work accidents is due to worker negligence while working. This literature review was carried out using the traditional literature review method. Article sources were obtained from the Google Scholar database and the Garuda Portal, with a year range from 2018 – 2022.  The keywords used are 'work accident and job safety analysis articles' and 'work accidents and job safety analysis'. The research results show that the cause of work accidents that often occur is the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Apart from that, there are human factors such as unsafe actions and still lack of knowledge about work safety. The research results also show that every job has a risk of accidents, so you should always prioritize safety and focus on doing the job.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of unstable sales every year in Bacarito Kopi Padang. This is due to the inadequate quality of service, including parking that is not too wide and less regular as well as the service of some baristas who are less friendly and less smiling. The purpose of the study to determine the quality of Service Bacarito coffee in improving consumer satisfaction by using the Servperf method. Proposed improvements that need to be improved and improved on Bacarito coffee using IPA method. There are two methods used, namely Servperf and IPA. The Data used is in the form of primary data, namely data from questionnaires that have been distributed to 100 respondents with alternative answers using a Likert scale. The results showed the quality of Service Bacarito coffee in improving consumer satisfaction by using the Servperf method of 0,89. This means that consumers have not been satisfied with the quality of service provided, it is characterized by Q ≤ 1 which is 0,89 < 1. The IPA method in the Cartesian diagram shows that 4 of the 24 attributes used for proposed improvements are in quadrant I. The main priority for proposed improvements is in the attributes regarding menu information that must be clear, employee politeness and friendliness, parking area security and procedures for complaining about problems. This research can provide recommendations for business actors in the food and beverage industry to improve and increase the quality of service to consumers.

Abstract

The thin layer model describes the drying process uniformly, regardless of the control mechanism. Fundamentally, using experimental data on dried materials can be explained by the method used. The purpose of this research is to determine the characteristics of the pineapple drying process using a thin layer model. Drying using the oven method at 60°C. The thin layer drying model uses Newton, logarithmic, and Midilli models. The statistical parameters used are R2 and SSE. The water content obtained did not differ much between the two varieties, namely 13, 27, and 13.14 (% db). The results of the comparison of the three models used lead to different results with R² values ​​of 0.89–0.96 and SSE 0.0095–0.0013 based on the non-linear regression analysis used. The Midilli model shows the best results with R² parameters of 0.06 and 0.94 and SSE of 0.0019 and 0.0025..

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi metode peramalan yang paling tepat untuk meramalkan permintaan Crude Palm Oil (CPO) di PT. Inti Indosawit Subur menggunakan Software WinQSB dan memilih hasil peramalan nilai akurasi yang terkecil MSE, MAE dan MAPE serta nilai akurasi yang lebih aktual. Dari hasil penelitian perhitungan peramalan permintaan Crude Palm Oil (CPO) pada PT. IIS dapat diidentifikasikan metode peramalan yang paling tepat adalah metode Moving Average (5 bulanan) dengan nilai pengukuran akurasi hasil peramalan adalah Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) 504.5714, Mean Square Error (MSE) 452789.3 dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error 14.34859.

Abstract

Determining the maturity level of FFB is crucial because it directly affects the quality and quantity of palm oil produced. Ripe FFB has high oil content, ensuring better-quality palm oil. Traditional methods include visual inspection, manual sampling, and physical testing, which are labor-intensive and subjective and can result in inconsistencies and errors. Machine learning algorithms can analyze datasets quickly and accurately, while also identifying patterns and features that are not easily visible to humans. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examine and evaluate the effectiveness of machine learning algorithm classifiers in determining oil palm FFB ripeness. The algorithms used in this research for classification analysis are Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machines (SVM), k-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN), Neural Networks (NN), and Naïve Bayes. In this research, the analysis was carried out using the Orange data mining tool, which carried out data analysis and data visualization. The results of performance evaluation was tested, and assessment (cross-validation accuracy estimation), ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) analysis, and confusion matrix. The best models were Neural Network, Logistic Regression and SVM. Naïve Bayes appears to have lower performance. The results using the prediction widget show that logistic regressing has the best accuracy.

Abstract

Beredarnya madu palsu atau madu kualitas rendah, dan kurangnya pemahaman petani tentang standar mutu madu menyebabkan kehawatiran akan kualitas mutu madu. Pengujian mutu madu dapat dilakukan sesuai Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) nomor 8664:2018 meliputi uji bau, rasa, kadar air, uji aktivitas enzim diatase (DN), uji kadar Hidroximetilfurfural (HMF), uji kadar gula pereduksi dan sukrosa. Hasil pengujian kualitas mutu madu trigona Kelompok Tani Hutan Tambak Mandiri memenuhi kriteria SNI dimana hasil bau dan rasa memenuhi syarat mutu khas madu, kadar air 26,57%, aktivitas enzim diatase minimal 1,39 DN, kadar HMF 0,4 mg/kg, kadar gula pereduksi dan sukrosa sebesar 38,6 dan 1,3% b/b. Hasil pengujian mutu madu diharapkan memberikan dampak peningkatan pengetahuan tentang mutu madu, Kesejahteraan Ekonomi, Peningkatan Produksi dan Kualitas, Kemandian Ekonomi, Keberlanjutan Usaha dan Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Kelompok Tani.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MsDs) among fresh fruit bunch (FFB) loading workers at Afdeling 6 of PT. XYZ, Pelalawan. A quantitative approach was used with the Nordic Body Map (NBM) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) as research instruments. The NBM results indicated that the most frequently reported discomfort was in the back, upper arms, wrists, and legs. Meanwhile, the REBA assessment showed that all workers fell into the high-risk category with scores ranging from 8 to 9, indicating the need for immediate changes in work methods. These findings suggest that manual FFB loading activities pose a significant risk of work-related injuries. Therefore, improvements in working posture, the use of ergonomic tools, and better work schedule arrangements are necessary to reduce the risk of muscle injuries among workers..

Abstract

Desain kemasan merupakan salah satu bentuk dalam menarik konsumen, pemilihan desain kemasan yang tepat akan meningkatkan penjualan sebuah produk. Kemasan memainkan peran penting untuk membedakan produk dan menarik minat konsumen, terutama dalam era kompetisi yang semakin ketat. Fokus penelitian ini pada bubuk bandrek jahe merah dari UMKM Bakti Usaha. Kemasannya masih sederhana masih belum memenuhi preferensi dan harapan konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang kembali kemasan produk bandrek jahe merah dari UMKM Bakti Usaha berdasarkan preferensi konsumen menggunakan metode Kansei Engineering. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kata kansei yang terpilih dari kuisioner semantic diferentiall I yaitu informatif, praktis, aman, unik, berwarna, kompleks, ramah lingkungan, dan rapi. Hasil rancangan yang terpilih untuk desain kemasan bubuk bandrek jahe merah yaitu terbuat dari bahan plastik berbentuk botol dengan label sticker dan berwarna transparan. Desain kemasan yang terpilih yaitu kemasan yang terbuat dari bahan plastik, bentuk botol, dengan label sticker, dan berwarna trasnparan. Pada desain kemasan bubuk bandrek jahe merah, elemen yang paling penting bagi konsumen adalah bentuk (35,143), label (34,325), bahan (20,062) dan warna (10,469).

Abstract

The adoption of renewable energy, waste management methods' efficacy, the application of environmental economic concepts, and the financial performance of manufacturing enterprises in Jakarta are all examined in this study. This study examined measurement models and structural models by analyzing data from 174 organizations using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings demonstrate that the company's profitability is considerably and favorably impacted by the use of environmental economic concepts and the deployment of renewable energy. This research highlights the significance of sustainable practices in attaining financial prosperity and provides useful guidance for companies seeking to manage the intricate terrain of ecological accountability and financial efficacy.

Abstract

Keeping the materials at their highest value for as long as possible through reusing and recycling the waste, was the most applicable method for waste elimination, an application of the circular economy concept in Indonesia. The problem in waste management in Pangkalan Kerinci is, that during the transport and treatment to the landfill area, the waste is not sorted and mixed yet. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The study found that the town of Pangkalan Kerinci Environmental service have serve 72% of the town area, using 19 vehicles (dumping truck), 19 routes for trash collection, 4 collapsible vehicles (bin container truck), and motorcycles for non-accessible locations. Problems found in waste management in Pangkalan Kerinci are; the lack of waste banks and garbage bins, lack of personnel in transporting and sorting, lack of excavators in the landfill facility, and the short supply of dump trucks and trash collecting vehicles
