Abstract

Ikan merupakan komoditas utama laut yang penting sebagai sumber makanan. Ikan perlu diketahui kesegarannya sebelum dikonsumsi manusia. Tingkat kesegaran ikan biasanya diidentifikasi dengan cara konvensional seperti analisis kimiawi atau biokimiawi ikan,  analisis kandungan mikrobiologi pada ikan, dan metode pemeriksaan sensori. Metode-metode tersebut dapat dilakukan namun membutuhkan kekuatan manusia yang cenderung mengalami kelelahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesegaran ikan hasil tangkapan dengan menggunakan sistem komputerisasi digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah K-Nearest Neighbor dengan memanfaatkan citra mata ikan berbasis nilai fitur warna RGB. Data yang digunakan adalah 150 citra mata ikan yang diambil pada rentang waktu satu jam, lima jam, dan 10 jam. Citra mata ikan tersebut sebelumnya telah dilakukan cropping, segmentasi dan ekstraksi nilai RGB untuk kemudian diklasifikasikan berdasarkan kelas target. Data penelitian dibagi menjadi 120 citra untuk pelatihan dan 30 citra untuk pengujian. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa nilai akurasi paling tinggi menggunakan nilai K=1 yaitu sebesar 93,33%. Berdasarkan hasil akurasi tersebut maka metode KNN dapat menjadi model pengembangan identifikasi kesegaran ikan menggunakan citra digital.

Abstract

The use of ChatGPT provides new opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of the course materials and overcome the obstacles they may encounter. The study of astronomy itself includes material that studies the universe, but students tend to minimize the related knowledge. The emergence of open AI products is considered a good solution to address the acceleration of specialized student learning in tasks. This research aims to find out whether ChatGPT has benefits for students in completing astronomy lecture assignments at the Muhammadiyah University of Maumere. This is seen from how often students use ChatGPT. The research method used is a mixed method that combines quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative data is obtained from questionnaires which are presented in the form of numerical data, while qualitative data is additional information obtained through conversations between researchers and research sources. Data collection is carried out using an app that is shared with students through Google Forms after ChatGPT is applied to complete college tasks. This type of activity is considered to have excellent benefits for the completion of tasks in education. Based on the research results, it was found that 13 or 65% of the total respondents stated that ChatGPT was very good to use in completing tasks. Apart from that, using ChatGPT was also considered effective in completing astronomy lecture assignments because 50% of students stated that using ChatGPT was very effective in solving astronomy problems, while the other 50% chose only effective. Based on these findings, it is fundamental that ChatGPT has benefits for students to help solve lecture problems and can be a recommendation for other users provided they always pay attention to the ethics of its use.

Abstract

Predicting stock market prices is challenging due to the complex and volatile nature of financial time series. This study examines the use of Random Forest Regression (RFR) to predict the closing prices of the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) from January 2015 to May 2025. Historical data were collected from Yahoo Finance, preprocessed, and engineered into seven predictor features, including lagged prices, moving averages, volatility measures, and a COVID-19 event indicator.The dataset was split into training and testing sets (80:20) using a time-based approach. Hyperparameters were optimized via RandomizedSearchCV with TimeSeriesSplit cross-validation. The final model achieved an RMSE of 177.55 and an R² of 0.71 on the testing set, demonstrating strong predictive performance. Feature importance analysis indicated that the previous day’s closing price (lag_1) was the most influential predictor, followed by lag_2 and MA_7.Visualizations showed that the model effectively captured major trends and turning points, with minor deviations during extreme volatility. The next-day prediction for May 23, 2025, yielded a closing price of 7145.12, indicating practical applicability for short-term investment decisions. The results highlight that Random Forest Regression is a robust and effective method for predicting financial time series, capable of handling non-linear patterns and market fluctuations

Abstract

Academic information system security is a crucial aspect in the development of technology and information today, especially in maintaining structured and comprehensive data from various threats. Academic Information System (AIS) XYZ which provides services based on HTTP or HTTPS protocols is vulnerable to hacker attacks through security holes that may not be realized by the website owner. This study aims to identify and analyze security vulnerabilities in the AIS and provide recommendations for improvements to improve the level of system security. Using the ISSAF method to evaluate system security. The tools used in the analysis include Whois, SSL Scan, Nmap, OWASP Zap, and LOIC to detect and test vulnerabilities on the website. From this study, 12 vulnerabilities were found, consisting of four medium level vulnerabilities, six in moderate vulnerabilities, and two information level vulnerabilities. In improving system security, it is recommended to make improvements to the vulnerabilities found, especially at high and medium levels, and to implement regular security monitoring to prevent future attacks.

Abstract

The development of quantum computing technology brings significant challenges to conventional crypto-graphic systems that are currently widely used in digital data security. Attacks made possible by quan-tum computers have the potential to weaken classical algorithms such as RSA and ECC, so a new ap-proach is needed that can guarantee long-term security. This study aims to systematically review the ef-fectiveness and readiness of the implementation of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms, espe-cially those that have been recommended by NIST, in order to strengthen the resilience of future cyberse-curity systems. The method used was a structured literature study with comparative analysis of lattice-based (Kyber and Dilithium), code-based (BIKE), and hash-based (SPHINCS+) PQC algorithms. Data are obtained from official documents of standards institutions as well as the latest scientific publications. The results of the analysis show that lattice-based algorithms offer an optimal combination of security and efficiency, and demonstrate high readiness to be implemented on limited devices. Compared to other al-gorithms, Kyber and Dilithium have advantages in terms of performance and scalability. Thus, this re-search contributes in the form of mapping the practical readiness of the PQC algorithm that has not been widely studied in previous studies, and can be the basis for the formulation of future cryptographic adop-tion policies. These findings are expected to help the transition process towards cryptographic systems that are resilient to quantum threats.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan alat untuk menyampaikan pesan atau rangsangan pada proses belajar mengajar agar dapat menimbulkan keinginan untuk belajar. Media pembelajaran dapat berupa media pembelajaran online yang digunakan sebagai perantara proses pembelajaran sehingga memenuhi kebijakan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) selama masa pandemi covid-19. Edlink merupakan media pembelajaran online yang digunakan oleh mitra kegiatan workshop yaitu IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere. IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere menggunakan Edlink sebagai media pembelajaran online antara dosen dan mahasiswanya. Sosialisasi penggunaan Edlink telah dilakukan pada masa Orientasi Kehidupan Kampus (OKK) tetapi tidak maksimal berdasarkan hasil survei sebelum kegiatan. Pihak kampus berkolaborasi dengan Magister Informatika Universitas Ahmad Dahlan melaksanakan kegiatan workshop pengenalan Edlink sebagai media pembelajaran online. Kegiatan workshop bertujuan untuk mengenalkan Edlink kepada mahasiswa baru IKIP Muhmmadiyah Maumere sebelum proses perkuliahan berlangsung. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 120 mahasiswa baru periode 2021-2022. Tahapan kegiatan dimulai dengan survei pemahaman awal peserta, analisis tingkat pemahaman peserta, melakukan workshop, dan melakukan proses evaluasi. Metode evaluasi menggunakan angket penilaian tingkat pemahaman peserta dan dianalisis menggunakan rata-rata skor penilaian yang diberikan oleh peserta pada setiap pernyataan angket. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi diperoleh nilai rata-rata total skor sebesar 4,35 dengan kriteria sangat paham dan persentasi sebesar 87,09%.

Abstract

The rapid integration of web-based platforms in higher education highlights the importance of usability and user experience in supporting students’ extracurricular activities. This study evaluates the usability and user experience of the Student Extracurricular Information System (SINEMA) developed at Tadulako University. A total of 99 respondents participated, selected from a population of 5,581 active users through Slovin’s formula. Two standardized instruments were applied: the System Usability Scale (SUS) to capture global usability perceptions and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to assess six dimensions of user experience. The SUS results indicate a mean score of 76.06, which falls within Grade B and the “Good” category, exceeding the global benchmark. This suggests that the system is generally usable, although certain respondents reported minor challenges requiring further improvement. The UEQ results show that Perspicuity (1.94), Dependability (1.94), and Stimulation (1.93) achieved the “Excellent” category, reflecting clarity, reliability, and engagement. Meanwhile, Attractiveness (1.65), Efficiency (1.58), and Novelty (1.72) were rated “Good,” highlighting positive perceptions but also opportunities for optimization. Overall, the findings demonstrate that SINEMA effectively supports extracurricular management with satisfactory usability and strong user experience. The study contributes novelty by integrating SUS and UEQ for comprehensive evaluation within a higher education extracurricular context. Recommendations include enhancing efficiency and novelty to elevate user satisfaction and system adoption.

Abstract

Kesenjangan pendidikan di wilayah terpencil yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan akses dan ekonomi menghalangi anak-anak memperoleh pendidikan dasar yang layak, padahal pendidikan merupakan fondasi penting untuk membentuk karakter dan mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa sesuai amanat UUD 1945. Kemampuan literasi merupakan keterampilan dasar yang berperan penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan siswa pada jenjang pendidikan berikutnya. Namun, siswa sekolah dasar di daerah pedesaan, termasuk di Desa Watumaeta, Kecamatan Lore Utara, Kabupaten Poso, masih menghadapi tantangan serius dalam keterampilan membaca dan memahami teks. Keterbatasan bahan bacaan, minimnya sarana literasi, metode pengajaran yang konvensional, serta rendahnya dukungan dari lingkungan keluarga menjadi faktor utama yang menghambat perkembangan literasi anak. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan literasi siswa melalui penyediaan bahan bacaan tambahan, pembangunan sudut baca di kelas, serta penerapan metode pembelajaran interaktif berupa storytelling, membaca bersama, diskusi, permainan edukatif, dan literasi digital sederhana. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SDN Watumaeta dengan melibatkan 35 siswa, guru, dan orang tua. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test kemampuan membaca. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 45,7 pada pre-test menjadi 70,1 pada post-test, dengan rata-rata peningkatan 24,4 poin. Selain capaian kuantitatif, temuan kualitatif memperlihatkan meningkatnya minat baca siswa, partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan literasi, serta dukungan positif dari guru dan orang tua. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa intervensi sederhana berbasis sarana baca dan metode interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa di daerah pedesaan. Enhancing Literacy Skills Among Elementary School Students in Watumaeta Village, Lore Utara District, Poso Regency Educational disparities in remote areas caused by limited access and economic constraints prevent children from obtaining adequate basic education, even though education is a crucial foundation for character building and advancing the nation's intellectual life in accordance with the mandate of the 1945 Constitution. Literacy skills are a fundamental competence that plays a crucial role in supporting students’ success in higher levels of education. However, elementary school students in rural areas, including Watumaeta Village, North Lore District, Poso Regency, still face serious challenges in reading and text comprehension. Limited reading materials, inadequate literacy facilities, conventional teaching methods, and lack of family support are major factors that hinder children’s literacy development. To address these issues, this community service program was implemented to improve students’ literacy through the provision of additional reading materials, the establishment of classroom reading corners, and the application of interactive learning methods such as storytelling, shared reading, group discussions, educational games, and simple digital literacy activities. The program was carried out at SDN Watumaeta involving 35 students, teachers, and parents. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test reading ability assessments. The results showed an increase in the average score from 45.7 in the pre-test to 70.1 in the post-test, with an average gain of 24.4 points. In addition to the quantitative results, qualitative findings indicated improved reading interest, more active participation in literacy activities, and strong support from teachers and parents. These outcomes demonstrate that simple interventions based on reading facilities and interactive methods are effective in enhancing students’ literacy skills in rural elementary schools.
