Abstract

The study entitled " SWOT Analysis in Enhancing the Creative Concept of the Annual Fin Expo Event" aims to understand the SWOT of the creative concepts of Fin Expo 2023, based on the four dimensions of creativity, namely Persons, Processes, Products, and Press. The data was collected through with OJK as client and CV. Kopi Panas as the event organizer. The technique used is descriptive analysis to measure the level of satisfaction of visitors with the creative dimensions and SWOT analysis. Based on SWOT analysis, several strategies were found to be applicable, namely: (1) the SO strategy utilizes creative team expertise in collaborating various activities such as talkshows, contests, and unique cultural parades to attract more visitors, (2) the ST strategy relies on the strength of the variable event concept to address threats from other more experienced event organizers, (3) the WO strategy includes improved internal communication between the creative team and the field design team to optimize the setting of the event and develop educational content, and (4) the WT strategy improves the event content and the use of technology to improve visitors' accessibility.

Abstract

Destinasi pariwisata Bali yang dahulu dikenal sebagai honeymoon destination kini makin dikenal sebagai intimate wedding destination. Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel adalah hotel bintang lima di daerah Kuta yang menyediakan venue dengan konsep garden beach view dapat digunakan sebagai perhelatan resepsi pernikahan di Bali. Namun, target penyelenggaraan wedding event di Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel pada tahun 2018 dan 2019 tidak dapat tercapai. Strategi bauran pemasaran wedding package yang tepat dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan jumlah penyelenggaraan wedding event di Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel. Penelitian pada Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel ini menggunakan metode studi dokumentasi serta wawancara. Kemudian menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif yang akan dianalisis menggunakan analisis matriks SWOT dengan bauran pemasaran 4P (product, price, place dan promotion). Analisis SWOT membandingkan antara faktor-faktor eksternal yang merupakan peluang (opportunities) dan ancaman (threats) dengan faktor-faktor internal yang merupakan kekuatan (strengths) dan kelemahan (weaknesses) yang menghasilkan empat komponen alternatif strategi yaitu SO, ST, WO, dan WT. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel menawarkan wedding ceremony package serta didukung dengan 5 wedding dinner venue dengan konsep outdoor berupa garden beach view dan memiliki 1 ballroom namun tidak memiliki chapel sebagai daya tarik. Harga wedding package yang ditawarkan kepada calon pasangan cukup kompetitif dengan pesaing tetapi belum memiliki harga untuk weekdays, weekend, low season dan high season yang dianggap cukup merugikan. Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel memiliki dua macam saluran distribusi yaitu direct distribution (internet, media sosial, telepon, dan e-mail) dan indirect distribution melalui pihak ketiga seperti wedding planner atau wedding organizer, serta melakukan kegiatan promosi dengan menggunakan video tron, marketplace seperti Bridestory dan Hitchbird, media sosial, sales call ke wedding planner atau wedding organizer serta mengikuti wedding expo.

Abstract

Festival budaya memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan citra destinasi, festival menampilkan warisan budaya, mempopulerkan destinasi sejarah, dan menghasilkan manfaat secara ekonomi bagi masyarakat (Ye, Xu, 2022). Tomohon menjadi salah satu contoh destinasi yang berhasil mengangkat citra destinasinya melalui festival internasional yaitu Tomohon International Flower Festival yang diadakan setahun sekali sejak tahun 2008. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat program studi pengelolaan konvensi dan acara Politeknik Pariwisata Bali. Pengabdian masyarakat yang berlangsung memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat melalui pelatihan bidang event dan florist. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah sosialiasi dan pelatihan. Tim penelitian memberikan edukasi mengenai etiket protokoler, pengelolaan event, hygiene dan sanitasi pada hari pertama. Pada hari kedua masyarakat diajak untuk belajar mengenai pemanfaatan bunga sebagai pelengkap kegiatan pelaksanaan kegiatan meeting yang salah satunya adalah rangkaian bunga pada vas. Program ini diimplementasikan melalui kegiatan seminar interaktif. Selain itu, dilakukan juga kegiatan merangkai bunga bersama masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat Kota Tomohon di Sulawesi Utara dan memberikan dasar untuk pengembangan keterampilan berwirausaha di bidang florist untuk mendukung kegiatan MICE yang ada di Kota Tomohon. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya kelanjutan program edukasi dan pelatihan lanjutan serta pendampingan masyarakat Tomohon secara langsung pada event tahunan yakni Tomohon International Flower Festival (TIFF).

Abstract

Purpose: This article aims to revive local cultural wisdom in the Kuta Traditional Village which has been eroded by the influence of globalization Research methods: This research uses an interpretive qualitative approach by collecting data through field observations, interviews and literature reviews Results and discussion: The Kuta Beach Mini Festival is able to create a space for the people of Kuta Badung Traditional Village to strengthen their sense of cultural identity, through dance, music, fine arts and various traditional activities and revive cultural elements that are in danger of being forgotten. Implication: This article has substantial cultural implications by illustrating how the representation of local cultural wisdom in festivals can influence cultural preservation, revolution, and understanding.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is the effect of workload and work stress on employee performance at 99 Wedding and Event Organizers, either partially or simultaneously. This study uses quantitative research methods, secondary data management obtained from the company and primary data obtained from interviews and questionnaires. The sample in this study amounted to 24 respondents who were distributed to all employees of 99 Wedding and Event Organizers. The data analysis method used was multiple regression analysis, F test, t test and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that there was a positive influence between workload on employee performance at 99 Wedding and Event Organizers with a significance value of 0.001, there was a positive influence between work stress on employee performance at 99 Wedding and Event Organizers with a significance value of 0.004 and there was a positive influence between workload, work stress on employee performance at 99 Wedding and Event Organizers with a significance value of 0.000.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality on event equipment rental services at CV. Bali Stage Expotama on customer satisfaction. Quantitative method used in this research. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 38 consumers of CV Bali Stage Expotama and validity and reliability tests were carried out before the questionnaire was used to gather data. Data processing was carried out using the SPPS version 26 program and data analysis techniques using a simple linear regression test. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the service quality of event equipment rental services at CV. Bali Stage Expotama in Bali influences of customer satisfaction by 84.6%. The results of the analysis of service quality show that the tangible dimension gets a score of 3.89 (satisfied), the reliability dimension gets a score of 4.02 (satisfied), the responsiveness dimension gets a score of 4.06 (satisfied), the assurance dimension got a score of 3.99 (satisfied), the empathy dimension got a score of 3.97 (satisfied). These five dimensions get satisfied ratings, which means customers are satisfied with services of CV. Bali Stage Expotama and it is known that the tangible dimension gets the lowest rating.

Abstract

Bali Island as a tourism destination continues to grow every year, especially in the MICE and event industry. The intense competition in this industry has forced event organizers to carry out various promotional strategies. This research aims to analyze the effect of personal selling and sales promotion in an effort to increase sales volume for event organizer services. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through a questionnaire instrument which was distributed to 80 project managers from each company that used services in holding events from 2018 to 2022. Data were processed using SPSS version 26 and analyzed using multiple linear regression, classical assumption regression test, individual parameter significance test (t test), simultaneous significance test (F test) and the coefficient of determination R². Based on the results of data analysis it is known that personal selling and sales promotion have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for event organizer services either partially or simultaneously. Simultaneously it is 70.5%, while the remaining 29.5% is influenced by other factors not examined. Partially, personal selling has a positive and significant effect of 23.4% on purchasing decisions, while sales promotion has a positive and significant effect of 28.2% on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Social media forums are communication tools used in the social process that can be accessed anywhere, anytime, and directly via the internet. One of the strengths of social media forums is their direct influence on the formation of consumer buying interest. W Bali-Seminyak is one of the companies engaged in the hospitality sector that also uses social media as a strategy to attract consumer interest. Although W Bali-Seminyak has used several social media forums as a means of building interaction with consumers, the selection of strategies in social media marketing forums with content marketing strategies is still rarely used. Based on this phenomenon, a study was conducted that aims to analyze the effect of content marketing on Instagram on the interest in buying wedding packages at W Bali-Seminyak. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative analysis using validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and coefficient of determination. Abstract

This research aims to explore the potential and challenges in developing Tua Tourism Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency, as a sustainable tourism destination. The Tua Tourism Village has a unique attraction in the form of rich culture, traditions and natural potential that supports the development of community-based tourism. However, the management of this tourist village still faces a number of obstacles, such as limited infrastructure, low involvement of local communities, and lack of digital promotion. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation, involving tourist village managers, local communities, local government and tourists as resource persons. The results of the study indicate that the sustainability of the development of the Tua Tourism Village requires synergy between managers, communities, and government, as well as more innovative promotional strategies. Recommendations provided include increasing human resource capacity, improving infrastructure, and optimizing digital technology-based marketing. This study is expected to provide practical contributions to the development of the Tua Tourism Village and other tourism villages in Bali.

Abstract

Panji tourist village, Sukasada District, Buleleng has very unique and interesting natural and cultural tourism potential to be developed. Its development requires guidance, especially tourism awareness groups and local communities, on how to maximize this potential so that it can attract tourists and improve the welfare of local communities. Looking at the conditions and analysis of the needs of the local community, training in the form of knowledge and skills is needed in the field of developing the potential of the Panji tourist village through festival events. This activity was carried out through community service in stages by the Convention and Event Management Study Program, Bali Tourism Polytechnic with the aim of providing training in preparing event proposals for the Panji Buleleng Tourism Village community. Using a combination of theoretical lectures and hands-on practice, the training successfully produced five event proposals, including the "Panji Arts and Culture Festival 2024," designed as the village's flagship event. Evaluations showed that 85% of participants experienced an improvement in their understanding of proposal development, and 92% expressed satisfaction with the materials provided. Participants enthusiastically presented their creative ideas, which are expected to inspire the community to continue developing the village's potential through festival activities, attracting tourists, and enhancing the well-being of the residents of Panji Tourism Village.
