Abstract

The aims of this study were to know the cost and the income of rice field farming and to analyze the influence factors in the income of rice field farming in Cawas, Klaten. The basic method that used in this study was descriptive analytics method. The study area was determined by purposive. It was done by considering the study area that had the largest rice field in Klaten. The data were collected using primary and secondary data. The result showed that: the cost commercializes of the rice field farming were used by the farmer was Rp 14.543.253/Ha, the revenue were accepted by the farmer was Rp 22.814.234/Ha, and the income that accepted by the farmer was Rp 8.270.981/Ha every season. The factors that influence to the income of rice field farming in Cawas, Klaten were labor productivity, pesticide cost, selling price, land productivity, and tractor cost. Other factors tested were age, education, experience, the number of family burden, fertilizer cost, the number of family members active in farming, and type of irrigation did not significant affected to the rice field farming income in Cawas, Klaten.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cost, revenue and profit in potato cultivation in  Ngablak  subdistrict,  analyze  internal  and  external  factors,  formulate  strategic alternatives, prioritize strategies that can be applied in developing in potato cultivation in  the  Ngablak  subdistrict.  The  basic  method  of  research  is  descriptive  analysis.  The research location in Ngablak subdistrict  Magelang regency. The data used are primary and  secondary  data.  Analysis  of  the  data  were  used:  (1)  Cost,  Revenue,  Income  and Profit, (2) Analysis of Internal Factor Evaluation, (3) External Factor Evaluation, (4) SWOT  Analysis,  (5)  QSPM.  The  Results  showed,  the  cost  potato  cultivationis Rp.11,413,271.00,  revenue  is  Rp.18,631,117.00.  income  to  Rp.7,217,846.00  and  the profit received Rp.4,827,071.00. Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) showed that there are four strengths and six weaknesses. External Factor Evaluation (EFE) shows that there are six opportunities and three threats. SWOT Analysis generate alternative strategies that  can  be  applied  is  to  maintain  the  quality  and  increase  the  quantity  of  potato cultivation  with  agricultural  intensification,  maximizing  land  for  planting  potato through  monoculture  cropping  systems  and  crop  rotation  as  well  as  utilizing  existing technology and marketing cooperation relationship with more than a middleman. QSPM analysis showed that the priority of strategy can be applied is to maintain the quality and increasing the quantity of potato cultivation with agricultural intensification.

Abstract

Rendang is an authentic Indonesian food that is popular throughout the world. However, these foods contain high cholesterol so now we need to find alternative substitutes to make rendang. Oyster mushrooms have elasticity like beef so that they can be used as an alternative to making rendang. These kinds of businesses have good prospects to increase their business. High market demand and limited business competition have opened up huge market opportunities. This market opportunity must also be balanced with the quality and continuity of the product so that it can increase consumer confidence in the product of oyster mushroom rendang. Community empowerment carried out by the service team focuses on improving the quality of rendang products with marketable packaging. The result is that consumers begin to realize and like the oyster mushroom rendang and the oyster mushroom rendang market starting to target the upper-middle-class consumer segment.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has a major impact on various sectors of life, including Small and Mid-size Enterprises (SMEs). The government makes various policies, one of which is the implementation of the New Normal. SMEs must adapt to New Normal conditions. SMEs Werkudoro is one of the SMEs in the Sukoharjo Regency. To face this New Normal condition, SMEs Werkudoro has several problems. The problem is that the packaging label is not marketable, product packaging is not marketable, wrap the packaging with stapler and SMEs are less developed. The method used are socialization, introduction, training and accompaniment. Community service activities are improvement marketable packaging labels, introducing marketable packaging with standing pouches, introducing of plastic sealers, repairing of product banner and business innovation training. Community service activities give knowledge for SMEs and benefits for adaptation in the New Normal condition, so they can survive and can develop.

Abstract

Eksploitasi lahan gambut untuk kegiatan perekonomian membuat lahan gambut Desa Merbau mengalami degradasi, sehingga diadakan program revitalisasi sumber mata pencaharian yang fokus pada pengembangan usaha berbasis komoditas pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap kelayakan yang dirasakan serta pengaruh sikap, norma subjektif, sifat personal, pengalaman, kelayakan yang dirasakan dan efikasi diri terhadap niat berwirausaha berbasis komoditas pertanian. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive). Penelitian ini menggunakan 70 responden yang dipilih secara acak dan tersebar di 3 dusun di Desa Merbau. Analisis data menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square dan software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa variabel efikasi diri berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kelayakan yang dirasakan. Variabel sikap, norma subjektif, sifat personal dan kelayakan yang dirasakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat berwirausaha berbasis komoditas pertanian. Pengalaman dan efikasi diri tidak berpengaruh terhadap niat berwirausaha berbasis komoditas pertanian. Masyarakat Desa Merbau hendaknya memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat berwirausaha berbasis komoditas pertanian karena berpengaruh pada keputusan untuk berwirausaha berbasis komoditas pertanian yang diharapkan dapat menjadi sumber mata pencaharian alternatif sehingga menyelamatkan lahan gambut dari degradasi akibat eksploitasi yang berlebihan dan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Desa Merbau.

Abstract

Increasing of Earthworm Cultivation Business in Teras District Boyolali Regency. Earthworms are soft-bodied, invertebrates, and have many functions as decomposer organisms, fertilizer producers from organic waste, and animal protein sources. Earthworms have high economic value. This community service aims to increase the capacity of earthworm cultivation through improved feed, use of vermicompost, and improvement of business bookkeeping on partner SMEs. The community service method is socialization, earthworm cultivation training, the introduction of media (feed), bookkeeping management training, and mentoring. Community service activities are earthworm cultivation training, introducing palm dregs and tofu dregs as media (feed), vermicompost as organic fertilizer, simple bookkeeping training, and mentoring. This community service activity can increase earthworms' production capacity by 50 - 70% per two months. SMEs have other alternative media (feed), namely palm dregs and tofu dregs, for worm cultivation. SMEs are already using vermicompost as organic fertilizer. SMEs have simple bookkeeping because they have recorded the financial income and expenditure of earthworm cultivation. Overall, this service activity has provided additional knowledge for SMEs to run a business so that the business is expected to progress and develop.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the quantity and frequency of ordering fresh fish, total inventory cost, safety stock and reorder points based on the method Economic Order Quantity  the exactand knowing the ratio of total costs of fresh fish inventory if the traders at the Depo Ikan Segar use their own policies using the method Economic Order Quantity. The basic method used in this research is descriptive method. The location was determined by purposive sampling and selected the Depo Ikan Segar in Surakarta City because it was the whole sale center for fresh fish in Surakarta City. Determination of the sample using random sampling technique by proporsive sampling. Data analysis methods used are: (1) optimal quantity and ordering frequency (2) total inventory costs (3) calculation of safety stock and reorder points. The results of the analysis show that the calculation of the quantity, frequency of ordering fresh fish, total inventory cost, safety stock and reorder point will be optimal if using the method Economic Order Quantity compared to the merchant policy at Depo Ikan Segar.Keywords: Economic Order Quantity, Optimal Ordering Frequency, Reorder Point, Safety Stock, Total Inventory Cost INTISARIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar kuantitas dan frekuensi pemesanan ikan segar, total biaya persediaan, safety stock dan reorder point yang tepat berdasarkan metode Economic Order Quantity, serta mengetahui perbandingan total biaya persediaan ikan segar jika pedagang di Depo Ikan Segar menggunakan kebijakannya sendiri dengan menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity. Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Penentuan lokasi secara purposive sampling dan terpilih Depo Ikan Segar Kota Surakarta karena merupakan pusat grosir ikan segar di Kota Surakarta. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan cara proporsive sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah : (1) kuantitas dan frekuensi pemesanan optimal (2) total biaya persediaan (3) perhitungan safety stock dan reorder point. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan kuantitas, frekuensi pemesanan, total biaya persediaan, safety stock dan reorder point akan optimal apabila menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity dibanding dengan kebijakan pedagang di Depo Ikan Segar.Kata kunci:  Economic Order Quantity, Frekuensi Pemesanan Optimal, Persediaan Pengaman, Titik Pemesanan Kembali, Total Biaya Persediaan

Abstract

The research aims to determine the amount of costs, revenues, profits, and business efficiency, determine the conditions of internal factors and external factors, develop alternative development strategies, and determine strategic priorities that are suitable for developing UKM Gethuk Take. The basic method of research is descriptive analytical method. The method of determining the location is purposive. Determination of key informants is done puposive. The analysis method used is (1) analysis of costs, revenues, profits, business efficiency (2) IFE and EFE matrices (3) IE and SWOT matrices (4) QSP matrix. The results showed that the total costs incurred by UKM Gethuk Take in December 2020 IDR 146,528,402.78 with fixed costs IDR 4,127,902.78 and variable costs IDR 142,400,500. Receipts IDR 176,622,00. Profit IDR 30,093,597.22. Business efficiency is 1.26 meaning UKM Gethuk Take is already efficient in running its business. The main internal factors that influence business conditions are that the capital is carried out independently (strengths) and the management of marketing management is less than optimal (weaknesses). The main external factor affecting business conditions is the proximity to tourist attractions (opportunities) and the Covid-19 outbreak has reduced people's purchasing power and limited tourism activities (threats). There are 14 alternative strategies generated from the SWOT matrix. The strategic priority for the development of Gethuk Take is to maximize the use of all digital marketing by taking advantage of developments in information and communication technology.

Abstract

Basreng crackers are fried meatball crackers produced by Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Sumber Rejeki and are named Kripik Basreng. Basreng is a cracker made from tapioca flour, noodles, and eggs. The problem faced by Sumber Rejeki SME’s that if the SME produces in a large capacity, the kneading process takes a long time and the ingredients used are not mixed evenly. This activity aims to introduce dough machines in SME Sumber Rejeki. The method is participatory by involving SME Sumber Rejeki, starting from the need identification stage, design, and machine introduction. As a result of these activities, the community service team succeeded in realizing a dough kneading machine under the needs and desires of SME Sumber Rejeki. This machine can increase time efficiency by about 80-90% and reduction of labor operating costs by IDR 2,000/prescription processing. The process of making dough is only one-sixth time per recipe compared to without using a machine. This process has an impact on the workforce being able to do other jobs so that they are more productive. This condition affects increasing the production capacity of basreng up to 400% per day and improving the dough quality. The side effect is good business management to production basreng more efficient than previous and fulfilled the demand quickly.

Abstract

UKM Bandeng Presto Bu Rita adalah UKM bidang makanan khususnya olahan bandeng. UKM Bandeng Presto Bu Rita berada di Kabupaten Boyolali. Persaingan yang ketat di bidang produk makanan mengharuskan UKM Bandeng Presto Bu Rita untuk berinovasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan membantu UKM mitra dalam mengatasi masalah serta memberikan solusi atas permasalahan usahanya. Proses produksi stik bandeng masih manual sehingga tidak efisien, label kode produksi masih menggunakan kode manual, dan pemasaran online masih sederhana. Metode pengabdian yang dilakungan oleh Tim Pengabdian adalah introduksi planetary mixer untuk membuat stik bandeng, introduksi mesin print kode produksi langsung pada kemasan, dan pendampingan pemasaran online. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan manajemen bisnis pengelola UKM mitra, perbaikan teknologi produksi usaha olahan bandeng, serta penerapan teknologi informasi dalam memasarkan hasil produksinya.
