Abstract

Purpose of this research was to analyze the correlation between the factor of age with fatigue of worker, the factor of working experience with fatigue of worker, the factor of age and working experience with fatigue of worker, and fatigue of workers with work productivity in palm oil harvesting. Data were collectedby using quisionere. The analytical method used in this research is the analysis of correlation and linear regression. From the results of this study concluded that there was a significant, quite strong (r = 0.469) and in the same direction (positive) correlation between the age worker factor with fatigue of palm oil harvester by linear regression equation ????1 = 2,571 + 0,077 X1, there was a significant, but low (r = -0.344) and not in the same direction (negative) correlation between the factor of working experience with fatigue of palm oil harvester by  linear  regression equation ????1 =  6,303 -  0,067  X2, there  was  a significant  and  very  strong correlation (R = 0.922) between factors of age and working experience with fatigue of  palm oil harvester  by  linear regression  equation ????1 =  0,742  +  0,178  X1   -  0,195  X2,  and  there  was  a significant, but low (r = -0.271) and not in the same direction (negative) correlation between the fatigue of workers with productivity of palm oil harvesting by linear regression equation ????2 = 258,45- 6,979 X. Labor of palm oil harvesting should be managed by factor age of workers and work experience in order to minimize fatigue of workers so that can improve productivity.

The research method used is the questionnaire method (questionnaire), where the authors submit the questionnaire directly to the respondents and take it back. Data analysis used AHP method  to get global weight from each criteria and sub criteria and combined with rating scale which aims to assess operator's performances with scale of assessment then look for recapitulation of operator performances result from both methods. Based on the results of the research, it is found that the criteria that are the first priority in assessing operator performances are the attitude criteria and the sub criteria which becomes the first priorities are  minor care, self-safety, clothing and personal protective equipment. Keywords: Performance assessment, AHP, rating scale

Abstract

Juremian and Kirmanan are other names for the Sintaro 2 and Sintaro 3 coffee clones, the national superior robusta coffee clones that have been cultivated in Sidorejo Village. This study aims to determine the quality and physical properties of coffee beans, chemical properties and ground coffee quality of Juremian and Kirmanan clones. The quality and physical properties of coffee beans are evaluated according to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 01-02907-2008 procedure. The chemical properties and quality of ground coffee powder were evaluated based on SNI 01-3542-204 procedure as well as the cupping test method (Specialty Coffee Association of America). The results showed that Juremian coffee beans had fewer defects and bean sizes, more peaberry beans, and better bean quality than Kirmanan coffee beans. Based on coffee extract content, "medium dark roast" and "dark roast" Ground coffee Juremian and Kirmanan are categorized as quality 1. "Medium dark roasted" Juremian coffee got a total score of 8.00, with the "excelent" category on the cupping test. The aromas found in Juremian coffee include chocholety, black tea, fruity, and nutty. The quality of the coffee beans, the high percentage of peaberry, and the roasting rate are thought to have contributed to the brewing quality of Juremian and Kirmanan coffees.
