Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of financial literacy and financial inclusion on mutual fund investment decisions at issuer brokers using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The sample consisted of 100 S1 Management students who actively invested in mutual funds through issuer brokers. Data was collected through an online questionnaire with 24 measurement indicators that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the PLS-SEM analysis showed that financial literacy had a positive and significant effect on mutual fund investment decisions (β = 0.501; t = 7.724; p < 0.001). Financial inclusion also had a positive and significant effect (β = 0.414; t = 6.194; p < 0.001). The R² value for the investment decision variable is 0.608, indicating that 60.8% of the variation in investment decision can be explained by both exogenous variables. Outer loading of all indicators was above 0.70 with Average Variance Extracted (AVE) > 0.50 and Composite Reliability (CR) > 0.70, meeting the criteria of convergent validity and reliability. These findings affirm the importance of improving financial literacy and financial inclusion to encourage the quality of mutual fund investment decisions among students.

Abstract

Home security plays an essential role in contemporary life. As technology progresses, conventional security approaches are transitioning toward smarter, IoT-powered systems. This research introduces a real-time intrusion detection prototype combining a PIR sensor with an ESP32-CAM, integrated with Telegram for instant alerts. Once movement is detected, the system captures an image and sends both visual and text-based notifications to users, allowing for swift remote response. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller linked to a PIR sensor and camera over Wi-Fi. Tests were performed to assess detection precision, response time, and system stability. The prototype achieved a 93% accuracy rate in detecting motion and delivered alerts with under a 5-second average delay. Image transmission through Telegram was successful, ensuring users receive visual proof in real-time. This solution is economical, intuitive to use, and suitable for household implementation. It offers a viable substitute to traditional CCTV by enabling proactive surveillance and remote interaction. Future enhancements could include cloud backup, facial recognition features, and smart home integrations.

Abstract

This research aims to design and evaluate a hybrid chatbot prototype that combines a rule-based approach with the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm to classify customer satisfaction levels. This system was developed as an automated customer service solution for the e-commerce sector, which demands speed, efficiency, and personalization. By using numerical features such as information comprehension (X1), chatbot rating (X2), and conversation duration (X3), the KNN algorithm determines whether a user is satisfied or not after an interaction session. The classification results indicate that some "Dissatisfied" predictions occurred in cases with high information comprehension but also long conversation durations. This suggests that customers can still be dissatisfied if the service time is perceived as too long, even if the content of the answer is clear. Although there is a margin of error in the user experience aspect, the system demonstrates a very significant impact on operational efficiency. The implementation of the hybrid chatbot was able to reduce customer service costs by up to 50%, with an estimated payback period of 4.8 months. The system provides significant added value for businesses, particularly in terms of cost savings and scalability, although there is still room for improvement in the quality of interaction.

Abstract

The Karanggawang, Demak location, service quality, and facilities offered by Jaya Abadi Motor Workshop are all examined in this study in connection to customer satisfaction. The study used quantitative methods to choose hundreds of volunteers. SPSS version 26 was utilized for the analysis, which employed multiple linear regression. Service quality, location, and resources all affect customer satisfaction, the results showed. An Adjusted R2 score of 0.440 indicates that these three factors explain 44% of the variation in customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between design patterns, modular architecture, and the maintainability of distributed real time systems developed using agile practices. Distributed real time systems are critical in various sectors, including telecommunications, healthcare, and automotive, where strict timing constraints and reliability are essential. Agile methodologies, known for their flexibility and iterative development, have been widely applied to software engineering, but their impact on long-term system maintainability, especially in complex real time environments, has been insufficiently explored. This research employs an empirical analysis, combining both quantitative and qualitative data from multiple real time system projects using agile methods. The analysis focuses on the application of design patterns, such as Singleton, Observer, and Factory, and evaluates the effectiveness of modular architectures in enhancing system scalability, flexibility, and long-term sustainability. The study also explores how agile practices contribute to system performance and maintainability, despite challenges related to frequent updates and coordination among distributed teams. Key findings show a positive correlation between the consistent use of design patterns and modularity, which significantly improves the maintainability and adaptability of distributed real time systems. This research also highlights the challenges faced by agile methods in maintaining architectural consistency and managing non-functional requirements, particularly in distributed environments. The results contribute valuable insights into adapting agile practices to meet the specific demands of distributed real time systems, offering recommendations for developers and project managers to incorporate modular architecture and design patterns to enhance long-term system sustainability. Further research is suggested to explore new design patterns and investigate the broader impact of agile methodologies on system quality beyond maintainability.
