Abstract

Itchy leaves are a kind of herbaceous plant that comes from the Urticaceae family where if applied all over the body it will cause a very itchy effect. After the itchy sensation for 5 minutes, the pain and sore effects will work very effectively. The local Papuan people, especially the South Sorong area, are active in using itchy leaves as an effective traditional medicine to cure muscle pain, but until now it has not been known to identify the types of itchy leaves used by local people. This research examines the identification of the types of itchy leaves plants used. The methods used as aspects of the utilization of Itchy Leaf plants are observation, interviews, and filling out questionnaires. While the results of the study showed that there were three types of Itchy Leaf plants in Bariat Village, Konda District which belonged to 1 (one) family, namely Urticaceae. There are 3 types of itchy leaves, namely Laportea decumana (kafa'), Laportea stimulants syn (kafasa), and Laportea peltata (Kafa'). Furthermore, this group of Itchy Leaf plants is used by the community by rubbing, squeezing the leaves, wrapping and as a trap for wild animals.

Abstract

Konsep merdeka belajar sebagai konsep baru kurikulum yang menekankan kepada siswa dengan mengembangkan minat dan bakat serta kemandirian sehingga bisa meningkatkan kualitas siswa. Upaya peningkatan tersebut harus dibarengi dengan peningkatkan tenaga pendidik atau guru, sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan kurikulum merdeka belajar. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan teknologi hidroponik bagi guru-guru akan memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan yang dimiliki guru yang dapat disalurkan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas siswa sebagai dasar dalam mengembangkan ilmu dan teknologi. adanya peningkatakan pengetahuan yang dilakukan melalui pretest dan post test tentang teknologi hiroponik pada guru-guru SMA Al-Amin Muhamamdiyah Kota Sorong yang mencakup tingkat pengetahuan pada tahap pembibitan, larutan nutrisi, penanaman, perawatan atau pemeliharaan, pengendalian hama dan penyakit serta panen. Diharapkan agar dilakukan pendampingan untuk dapat lebih meningkatkan ketrampilan pada berbagai jenis tanaman yang dapat dibudidayakan pada media hidroponik.

Abstract

As an effort to educate the lives of people in rural areas, the government and higher education institutions (PT) always collaborate and synergize to provide assistance and counseling to the community, especially farmers so that farmers' skills and knowledge of innovation and new technology can be increased to increase production yields and family economic income. . Community service activities (PkM) will be held on December 26, 2022. The aim of PkM is to transfer fertilization science and technology that is environmentally friendly, while at the same time utilizing it for the sustainability of farming land. The method used in PkM activities is in the form of counseling in the form of lectures and cultivation assistance. The results achieved from the PkM activities are the creation of better farming conditions compared to the previous conditions, where in an organic crop cultivation system it is known that the land is gradually being improved. Even so, massive assistance is needed to develop farmer awareness and enthusiasm to more intensively implement organic-based farming systems in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Tanaman sagu sebagai penghasil pati telah menjadi sumber makanan pokok bagi masyarakat asli Papua dan memiliki populasi yang tinggi sehingga menjadi potensi untuk dijadikan sebagai sumber pangan alternatif di masa depan, sehingga perlu dijaga kelestariannya. Permasalah yang ada adalah rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat papua dalam budidaya tanaman sagu, sehingga perlu dilakukan melalui kegiatan pelatihan budidaya tanaman sagu bagi suku Moi di Kampung Jeflio. Melalui kegiatan diseminasi budidaya tanaman sagu pada masyarakat Jeflio diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan budidaya tanaman sagu. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan diawali dengan identifikasi masalah, proses pembibitan, dan penanaman di lapangan serta evaluasi hasil penanaman dengan melihat tingkat keberhasilan pertumbuhan tanaman sagu. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan penanaman dan pertumbuhan bibit tanaman sagu di lapangan mecapai keberhasilan yang tinggi, yaitu 97 % dapat tumbuh dan berkembang dengan baik. Tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan juga sangat tinggi dari adanya keikutsertaan hingga kegiatan pemeliharaan di lapangan.

Abstract

Increasing the productivity of pak choy plants (Brassica rapa L.) can be done by providing organic goat dung bokashi fertilizer. This research aims to see the effect of providing goat dung bokashi fertilizer and the best dose on the growth of pak choy mustard greens. The method in this research was an experiment designed using a randomized block design with treatment doses of goat manure bokashi fertilizer at various levels, namely K0 (Control) = No treatment K1 (5 tons/ha = 1 kg/plot), K2 (10 tons/ha = 2 kg/plot), K3 (15 tons/ha = 3 kg/plot), K4 (20 tons/ha = 4 kg/plot). Analysis of the observation results was carried out using ANOVA followed by the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results of the research showed that goat manure bokashi treatment had a significant to very significant effect on the growth of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area and wet stover weight of pak choy plants with the best growth at treatment doses of 3 kg/plot (K3) and 4 kg/plot ( K4) had the best growth with an average plant height of 28.35 cm and 27.77 cm, number of leaves 22.80 and 22.27, leaf area of 154.37 cm2 and 163.10 cm2 and wet stover weight of 283.94 grams and 234.42 grams, while the lowest growth was in no treatment or control with an average plant height of 23.96 cm, number of leaves 19.93, leaf area 99.43 cm2 and wet stover weight 138.18 grams. Salah satu komoditas pangan yang sangat penting untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gizi masyarakat adalah kacang tanah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan Februari hingga Mei 2024 di Kampung Isnum, Distrik Ayamaru Selatan, Kabupaten Maybrat, Provinsi Papua Barat Daya. Tujuannya untuk menyelidiki bagaimana pemberian pupuk kompos kotoran kambing berdampak pada pertumbuhan dan produksi kacang tanah. Penelitain menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan. Variabel yang diamati tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, umur berbunga, jumlah polong, jumlah biji polong, jumlah polong/petak, berat 100 biji, produksi biji kering/petak, dan ton/ha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk kompos kotoran kambing sangat nyata (P0,05) terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, jumlah polong/petak, produksi biji kering per petak, dan ton/ha. Namun, tidak berdampak pada umur berbunga, jumlah biji per polong, dan berat 100 biji. Pemberian dosis 6 kg/petak menghasilkan produksi biji tertinggi 2,72 ton/ha.

Abstract

The impact of the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides has had an impact on the decline in soil fertility. while on the other hand the need for food continues to increase along with the increase in population. Conservation farming efforts with the use of organic fertilizers are a solution to increase soil fertility and quality. Approach efforts to change farmers' mindsets to use organic fertilizers need to be carried out by carrying out counseling, training, mentoring and creating sample plots for plant cultivation. The results of the activity showed an increase in farmers' knowledge by 72% after participating in the dissemination program, as shown through pre-test and post-test evaluations. In addition, farmers began to adopt the use of organic fertilizers on their agricultural land, resulting in increased crop productivity and improved soil quality. This success reinforces the importance of organic fertilizer technology as a solution in maintaining environmental sustainability and supporting farmer independence in the area. With significant results, this approach is recommended to be replicated in other areas with similar conditions.

Abstract

Dalam praktik budidaya jagung manis, pemupukan dengan dosis yang tepat merupakan faktor kunci untuk mencapai hasil produksi yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh aplikasi pupuk kandang ayam dan NPK Phonska terhadap pertumbuhan serta hasil jagung manis. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), yang melibatkan empat perlakuan yang mengkombinasikan dosis pupuk kandang ayam dengan pupuk NPK Phonska. Data yang diperoleh dari pengamatan lapangan dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam. Jika hasil analisis menunjukkan signifikansi, akan dilakukan uji BNT pada taraf kepercayaan 0,05%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi pupuk kandang ayam dan NPK Phonska secara signifikan meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, panjang tongkol, dan bobot tongkol (p < 0,05). Perlakuan dengan dosis pupuk kandang ayam 6,0 kg/petak dan NPK Phonska 4,17 g/tanaman menghasilkan produksi jagung manis tertinggi sebesar 13,61 t/ha.

Abstract

Shallots are a flavor and aroma enhancer, one of the leading vegetable crop commodities that farmers have been cultivating intensively for a long time. This is because shallots have quite high economic value. Even though farmers' interest in shallots is quite strong, various obstacles are still encountered in the business process, both technical and economic (Sumarni and Hidayat, 2015). Red onion consumption in Indonesia is 4.56 kg/capita per year or 0.38 kg/capita per month, so national consumption is estimated to reach 1,608,000 tons per year (Directorate General of Horticulture, 2017). This proves that the availability of shallots in the country is not sufficient for the high demand of consumers, thus shallot productivity needs to be increased further. One of the factors that influences national shallot production is the condition of the soil which lacks nutrients due to continuous use by farmers. Efforts are needed to apply appropriate technology to increase shallot production yields. One technology that can be applied in cultivating shallot plants due to soil lacking nutrients is fertilization. The results show the fertilizer dosage treatment. Where this dosage level produces the best growth components (plant height and number of leaves) and production components (wet stover weight and dry stover weight) for shallot plants.
