Abstract

Knowledge is a vital resource for academic institutions, driving innovation dan development. However, universities face challenges in effective knowledge sharing due to cultural barriers, lack of trust, and technological constraints. This research, conducted using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), identifies key variables influencing knowledge sharing, highlights challenges, and proposes solutions to foster collaboration. The findings reveal that cultural barriers, such as competitive organizational environments and technological constraints, including high costs and user-friendly systems, significantly hinder knowledge sharing. To address these issues, the study recommends implementing user-friendly technologies, promoting collaboration through seminars and workshops, and encouraging cross-departmental projects. These solutions provide actionable insights to enhance knowledge sharing frameworks and support innovation across academic institutions

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Regional Development Information System (SIPD) at the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Muna Barat Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, and the factors influencing its implementation. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, official documents, archives, and data analysis using Nvivo software. The results show that the implementation of SIPD faces various challenges, including server errors, inadequate network access, and the need to improve the quality of human resources. Analysis based on the three success elements from Harvard JFK School of Government (Support, Capacity, and Value) indicates that regulatory support, capacity building of human resources, and leadership support are key factors in the successful implementation of SIPD. Leadership support and ongoing training are crucial for overcoming obstacles and enhancing the system's effectiveness and efficiency. This study provides significant contributions by offering a comprehensive view of the factors influencing the implementation of SIPD and providing recommendations to improve public service quality and transparency in regional government.

Abstract

One important ICT implementation in the healthcare sector is the Health Information System (HIS). There is limited research specifically examining the knowledge of community health center staff regarding readiness to use a HIS. This study aims to determine the level of staff knowledge regarding HIS use. The researchers used this approach to determine the influence of community health center staff knowledge (the independent variable) on readiness to use a health information system. The sample size in this study was 41 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was random sampling (probability sampling). There was an effect of knowledge level on readiness to use a health information system (t = 17.96, p = <0.001). The level of knowledge of community health center staff regarding readiness to use a health information system was quite good.

Abstract

The completeness of the physical examination and the accuracy of laboratory results are crucial in supporting the accuracy of diagnostic codes. A preliminary survey of 10 Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) medical records revealed that 4 (40%) were accurate and 6 (60%) were inaccurate. This was due to incomplete and inaccurate physical examination and laboratory results, which affected diagnosis and coding. This resulted in decreased data, information, and reporting quality, as well as the accuracy of INA-CBG rates, which could negatively impact the quality of hospital services. This study aimed to determine the accuracy of DHF diagnostic codes in terms of the completeness of medical information. This study used an observational, quantitative descriptive design, with 86 DHF medical records as the population and sample. The data used were secondary data obtained through observation using a checklist. The data were then processed and analyzed univariately using a frequency distribution. The results of this study are that from 86 DHF medical record files, 33 (38%) were found to have complete physical examinations, 12 (10%) were accurate laboratory test results, 8 (9%) were accurate diagnoses, and 8 (9%) were accurate diagnosis codes. It is expected that medical record officers, especially in the assembling section, will conduct medical record audits through qualitative analysis and improve coder skills through coding classification training.

Abstract

In the digital era, the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is crucial for improving the effectiveness and accuracy of healthcare services. However, this advancement also brings new challenges related to the security and privacy of patient data. This study aims to evaluate the information security aspects of the EMR at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital (RSI) Semarang using a Gap Analysis model based on the ISO 27001 standard. The study was conducted using a case study and concurrent mixed methods, involving five key informants, including the head of IT, the head of medical records, and the medical records officer. Data were analyzed using a Gap Analysis checklist and in-depth interviews. The results showed that only 40% of the 108 clauses of the ISO 27001 requirements were met, indicating the need for significant improvements in information security. The implementation of encryption technology, multi-factor authentication, and data security regulations are proposed to provide stronger protection for patient data. This study is expected to increase patient confidence in the privacy of their data and provide a benchmark for other healthcare facilities in managing data securely and efficiently.

Abstract

Health Information Systems (HIS) are a crucial element in improving the efficiency and accuracy of medical services in community health centers. This study aims to analyze the impact of HIS implementation on the quality of healthcare services, using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The analysis process involved identifying 300 relevant articles through academic databases, such as Taylor and Francis and Scopus, which were then selected into 10 primary articles based on inclusion criteria. This study explored the impact of HIS on service efficiency, data accuracy, and evidence-based decision-making. The analysis results indicate that the implementation of HIS, such as the Community Health Center Management Information System (SIMPUS) and web-based applications, significantly contributes to accelerating services, reducing patient waiting times, and increasing user satisfaction. However, challenges such as limited human resources, inadequate technological infrastructure, and the complexity of data management remain major obstacles. System integration, such as bridging systems, and the development of web-based applications have proven effective in addressing some of these obstacles. This study concludes that HIS has a positive impact on improving the quality of healthcare services in community health centers, although its implementation requires better infrastructure support and human resource training. Technological integration and innovation efforts are key to optimizing the benefits of HIS in supporting efficient, patient-centered healthcare services.

Abstract

Muh 4 Yogyakarta Middle School is still record the borrowing and returning of books in its library manually. This school haven’t yet store book data in a system causes many errors in data collection, one of which is data redundancy. Recording of borrowing and returning each book is still done manually, so the librarian must always check repeatedly. The aim of this research is to design and build a web-based library information system to overcome existing problems. This research uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) development method. In design process this system uses class diagrams, use case diagrams and activity diagrams as well as applying programs using the CodeIgniter Framework and database storage in MySQL. The result of this research is a web-based library information system that can overcome problems in borrowing and returning books. System testing was carried out twice, namely using alpha and beta tests. Test results show that all features can be built and work well. Beta testing of 80% shows users strongly agree that this system is worth using
