Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a form of business that is growing rapidly. The ability of MSMEs to survive difficult economic downturns has led various parties to develop MSMEs. The government helps by providing policies that benefit MSME entrepreneurs. The weakness of MSMEs that disrupts business continuity is the absence of information from the accounting system. The absence of special business reports makes it difficult for MSME owners to analyse accounting information systems. Implementation of an Accounting Information System (AIS) in MSMEs has a significant impact on operational efficiency and business sustainability. This article identifies the benefits, challenges and potential solutions associated with implementing AIS in MSMEs. The benefits of AIS include more efficient management of financial transactions, improved decision making, and compliance with tax and reporting requirements. However, MSMEs also face challenges such as limited resources and data security. Solutions to these challenges include support from governments, educational institutions, and business organizations through training, mentoring, and access to necessary technology. With the right support, MSMEs can harness the full potential of SIA to improve their business performance and maintain sustainability in a competitive business environment.

Abstract

The development of digital media has fundamentally changed the way society receives information and shape’s public opinion. The transition from traditional media to digital platforms allows for faster, wider and more interactive dissemination of information, but also poses challenges related to credibility, algorithmic bias and the spread of misinformation. This research aims to analyze how media evolution affects communication patterns and public perception in social and political dynamics. Using a literature review method, this research examines various factors that contribute to changes in information consumption patterns, including the role of social media algorithms, digital journalism, and society involvement in content production. The research results show that media evolution has an impact on increasing public engagement in political discourse, and can strengthen polarization and information echo chambers. Media literacy is an important aspect to help people sort out accurate information from biased or misleading ones. In addition, the role of governments, technology companies, and academic institutions is needed to develop policies that ensure transparency and accountability of information. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that understanding the evolution of the media is crucial to maintaining the integrity of information and encouraging healthier public participation in democratic processes and social life. Thus, communication strategies based on ethics and information accuracy must continue to be developed to optimize the role of media in modern society.

Abstract

This paper investigates the relationship between digital health literacy and the interpretation and utilization of social media information by pregnant women in selecting childbirth methods. Employing a qualitative literature review and thematic synthesis, the analysis shows varying levels of digital health literacy significantly modulate women’s abilities to discern credible from unreliable information within rapidly evolving digital contexts. The findings reveal that high-quality, evidence-based content fosters informed decision-making aligned with contemporary medical standards, while exposure to low-quality, anecdotal, or biased narratives can lead to misconceptions, anxieties, and suboptimal childbirth choices. Socioeconomic factors and prior health education influence susceptibility to digital misinformation. The study found the necessity for synergistic efforts across healthcare, education, and regulatory domains to elevate digital health literacy and ensure the availability of accurate content for expectant mothers. Integrating digital health literacy into antenatal care, promoting clinician engagement in online forums, and establishing clear content moderation guidelines are pragmatic responses to the identified challenges. Such systemic interventions are critical to empowering maternal autonomy and protecting maternal and neonatal health in an increasingly digitalized world.

Abstract

The Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) initiative, a climate finance mechanism spearheaded by France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union, was established at the 26th Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, England, in 2021. The JETP framework, specifically emphasized the participation of non-state actors, including Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), in achieving the objectives of the Paris Agreement. Following its initial launch, a JETP agreement was subsequently established for Indonesia in 2022, coinciding with the G20 Summit in Bali. This study examines the role of CSOs in influencing the energy transition policy discourse surrounding the JETP initiative in Indonesia, with a particular emphasis on their impact on policy formulation through media engagement. To this end, a comprehensive discourse analysis was conducted on 134 articles sourced from ten Indonesian online media outlets, published between August 2020 and June 24, 2024. The analytical methodology involved the application of Discourse Network Analysis (DNA) software to map discourse patterns, and the utilization of the MICMAC (Matrix of Crossed Impact Multiplications Applied to a Classification) software to identify dominant discourse themes. The analysis revealed that transparency and public participation emerged as critical factors significantly influencing the formulation of energy transition policies within the JETP framework.
