Abstract

Adanya peningkatan jumlah kendaraan bermotor di Indonesia memicu kenaikan jumlah kemacetan yang terjadi. Salahsatu cara yang pemerintah gunakan untuk mengurangi tingkat kemacetan tersebut adalah dengan mengurangipenggunaan kendaraan pribadi dan beralih menggunakan kendaraan umum. Salah satu yang pemerintah sarankanadalah Kereta Api. PT KAI selaku penyedia layanan kereta api di Indonesia membuat akun media sosial sebagai salahsatu sarana edukasi terkait layanannya. Salah satu media sosial yang mereka miliki adalah media sosial X. Akun@KAI121 ini menyediakan informasi seputar layanan milik PT KAI. Dalam penelitian ini, hendak diketahui apakahadanya pengaruh dari mengikuti akun X PT KAI yaitu, @KAI121, terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi parapenggunanya. Kata Kunci-penggunaan media sosial, kebutuhan informasi, Media Sosial X.

Abstract

Information system audits play an important role in ensuring the effectiveness of information technology governance (IT Governance) within an organization. This study aims to evaluate the suitability of information system management with IT governance principles using the COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology) reference model approach. The main issues raised include low IT process efficiency, weak internal control, and less than optimal achievement of IT strategic objectives. This study uses a case study method with a qualitative descriptive approach, which is applied to a higher education institution. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and internal document analysis, then evaluated using domains and processes in the COBIT 5 framework, especially in the EDM (Evaluate, Direct and Monitor) and MEA (Monitor, Evaluate and Assess) areas. The results of the study indicate that the capability level of several IT processes is still at level 2 (managed), which means that management has been carried out but has not been optimally documented and is inconsistent. Recommendations for improvement are focused on improving documentation, routine monitoring, and integration between IT policies and the institution's strategic objectives. These findings indicate that the use of COBIT as an audit tool is able to provide an objective picture of the existing IT governance conditions.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the outcomes of cost estimation calculations conducted through the manual approach versus the Building Information Modelling (BIM) approach. BIM addresses the limitations of conventional software like AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel, which are 2D-based and complicate coordination among different engineering fields. BIM, through the integration of 3D (modeling), 4D (scheduling), 5D (cost), 6D (sustainability), and 7D (operation and maintenance), offers a comprehensive framework for project planning, management, and evaluation. This study analyzes the efficiency of volume and cost estimation in the construction of the Balikpapan’s DP3 and DISDAG Building project in the city of Balikpapan using the BIM 5D concept with Autodesk Revit 2022 software. The research results indicate that volume and cost estimations with BIM 5D are more efficient compared to conventional methods. The concrete work volume with BIM is compared to that of conventional methods from the consultant, there is a saving of 4.92% for concrete works, and 5.16% of saving for rebar works. These findings demonstrate that the implementation of BIM 5D in Autodesk Revit is lower and more efficient in volume and cost estimation.

Abstract

Aims: This research aims to to identify the information requirements of elementary school children toward human papillomavirus (HPV). Methods: The researcher employed a qualitative method utilizing the focus group discussion technique to gather data on several predetermined topics. A total of 20 female students who met the criteria were divided into several groups, and the discussions were recorded and documented. Result: Most of elementary school children have no background knowledge of HPV. Many of them have limited understanding of sexual health education. Although children aged 9-14 have received the HPV vaccine, most of them do not know about HPV. Further information is needed regarding the definition of HPV, the virus transmission process, potential symptoms, diseases caused by the virus, and complications arising from inadequate attention to prevention. Conclution: Providing comprehensive and child-friendly information about the HPV virus is essential to enhance the knowledge of elementary school students. It also contributes to increasing the acceptance of the HPV vaccine and maximizing preventive measures.

Abstract

In the current era of digitalization, human needs for time make all household and community activities want to be practical, especially such as washing clothes. Especially for people who have busy demands and do not have time to wash clothes, dry and iron so they prefer to entrust their laundry to the services of a laundry or laundry, for the reason of saving time and to concentrate more on completing their work. This study aims to design a service information system that can help in conveying information about laundry and knowing the valid and efficient website-based laundry service information system. This form of research uses the Rapid Application Development method to produce a product and uses a prototype model to design the system. This Information System is the best solution for solving problems in the management of laundry service systems. With the use of computer data technology that is managed becomes faster, reducing time inefficiencies and reducing the occurrence of errors in processing data.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based academic information system at Handayani University Makassar that enables parents to directly monitor their children's academic progress. The system addresses previous limitations, where academic information was only accessible to students, thereby reducing parental involvement. This system includes features that enhance transparency and communication effectiveness between the university and parents, such as access to Study Plan Cards (KRS), automated notifications, and payment status monitoring. The system was developed using the waterfall method, which includes the stages of analysis, design, coding, and testing. The Laravel framework was chosen for its Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, data security, and ease of management. As a web-based system, it can be accessed anytime and anywhere via internet-connected devices. The results indicate that the system successfully supports students’ academic success by improving transparency, parental engagement, and communication with the university. With its comprehensive features and user-friendly design, the system offers an innovative solution that promotes a more inclusive and informative academic environment in the digital era.

Abstract

Knowledge management within the Information Systems Study Program at Dian Nuswantoro University is currently still at an ineffective stage. Although the program focuses on the development and distribution of information systems, the lack of an implemented Knowledge Management System (KMS) has hindered the effective organization and utilization of knowledge within the department. By implementing a KMS, the program could more easily manage, store, and collaborate on knowledge assets. To address this issue, a web-based KMS design is proposed using the Business Object Oriented Modelling (BOOM) method. This method involves several stages: SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis, discovery, construction, and final verification and validation—each aimed at optimizing knowledge management within the academic scope of the study program. The design process was supported by data collected through questionnaires distributed to both faculty members and students. The final output of this study includes a test scenario and user interface design for the Information Systems Program's Knowledge Management System website. This proposed design is expected to enhance and streamline knowledge management within the department.

Abstract

This research examines the digital transformation challenges in Indonesia’s infrastructure development through a case study of BIM implementation at Patimban Port, West Java. Employing the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) framework, the study measures stakeholder preparedness across four psychological dimensions: (1) optimism toward benefits, (2) willingness to innovate, (3) technical discomfort, and (4) data security concerns. Primary data were gathered through two approaches: (1) a TRI-based questionnaire administered to 47 professionals, and (2) semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders to explore underlying challenges, revealing a paradoxical pattern: while 68% of respondents acknowledged BIM’s strategic value (mean optimism score=2.75), 72% reported implementation hesitancy due to technical skill deficiencies (discomfort score=2.40). The findings offer practical insights for overcoming technology adoption barriers in large-scale infrastructure projects within developing country contexts, particularly addressing the competency gap through targeted training programs.

Abstract

The Planning Information System (SinCan) is a program used by the Bureau of Governance and Regional Autonomy to assess District Performance in East Java in an effort to realize data-based performance evaluation systematically and transparently. This research aims to determine the suitability of the implementation of the SinCan System program in the context of assessing District Performance Synergy (SKK) in East Java. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This research uses primary data through observation and interviews with the Head of the General Government Section as the provincial SKK assessment team, and the SinCan verifier team. The results of the research show that the implementation of SinCan is in accordance with the needs of the sub-district government in providing an effective, systematic, and transparent data-based evaluation tool. This program is also in line with the capacity of the implementing organization, namely the Bureau of Governance and Regional Autonomy, which already has adequate human resources and infrastructure to support SinCan implementation. In addition, there is a match between the program requirements and the capacity of the target group (sub-districts), although there are still challenges in understanding the data entry mechanism in the system. To overcome this obstacle, the researcher recommends regular training and technical assistance to sub-districts.
