In the context of international school-based management reform, in order to mobilize the momentum of change and lead innovation, the Principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Sentolo initiated and actively led school-based management reform based on the subjective development needs of teachers and students. SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Sentolo attaches great importance to its own characteristics and needs, and achieves independent development under the premise of decentralization. Relevant personnel make joint decisions and participate in management. Although the management of educators and education personnel is good, finances are good, SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Sentolo has shortcomings in curriculum management and student management, but it has actively built a new learning school through its own management reform. This study analyzes the experience of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Sentolo as an example of quality school-based management reform that can motivate, mobilize and help underprivileged students. The achievement of harmonious and balanced educational development is the goal of this study. This study mainly uses the case study method, by making SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Sentolo a special object to investigate and analyze educational phenomena in school-based management reform. The research was conducted using formal and informal individual interviews, as well as the collection of relevant documents and results.

Language is an important tool in building children's social skills and plays a role in all aspects of life, especially communication. The golden age is the development of language that requires stimulation through learning that is rich in fun language. The purpose of this research and development is to create a playful creative alphabet board "flash card" media for language skills in children aged 4-5 years. Educators need to provide advice, provide teaching media to create interesting learning so that it is not boring. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method into five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Playful Creative Alphabet Board media as an effective learning aid can improve children's language skills in understanding instructions, constructing simple sentences, and recognizing and pronouncing letters correctly. Media that has achieved the criteria very well to meet the results of the feasibility test of all material experts at the small group test level and feasibility aspects.

This study examines the management of Daarut Tauhiid's distinctive curriculum at Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Putra High School. The aim is to find out a clear picture of the management of the Daarut Tauhiid Specialized curriculum at Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Putra High School. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through interviews, documentation studies, and observations with the principal, vice principal for curriculum, teachers, and students as informants. The results of this study are that a structured and comprehensive approach in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the curriculum has had a positive impact on the quality of graduates of SMA Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Putra. This positive impact can be seen from the improvement in the quality of aqidah, worship, morals, memorization of the Qur'an, and academic achievement. Thus, the curriculum management of Daarut Tauhiid High School has succeeded in achieving its goals in shaping the character and academic achievement of students holistically.

The role of the principal is crucial in ensuring the continuity of the school's daily operations as well as in leading the development of human resources, especially teachers. Principals not only perform administrative functions, but also act as managers, leaders and change agents who create a conducive learning environment. In the context of education that is increasingly influenced by the demands of globalization, principals are required to be visionary leaders who can inspire and transform educators. This study aims to explore the principal's responsibilities in developing teacher competencies, the strategies used, the obstacles faced, and the solutions that can be applied to improve the quality of education. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review method, including analysis of books, journal articles, case studies and previous research. The results of the study show that effective principal leadership can improve teachers' professionalism, strengthen the quality of the learning process, and promote students' academic achievement and character development. This article highlights the importance of innovation and collaboration between principals and teachers in optimizing human resource potential. The role of principals as innovative leaders and professional developers of teachers is key in maintaining and improving education standards that are sustainable and relevant to the challenges of the times.

This study examines the concept and strategy of mental development of students at MTs Al-Muhdariyah Tokke Village, Malangke District, North Luwu Regency. The concept of mental development applied focuses on the process of internalizing moral values, by actualizing these values to students. This research is a qualitative study. Research Results Students are given a deep understanding of the importance of emotional and spiritual intelligence through the appreciation of moral values. The strategies used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in mental development include several approaches. 1) providing opportunities for students to apply the knowledge that has been taught. 2) supervision that is directive without dictating students, providing space for independence. 3) practicing and cultivating Islamic values is the core of the strategy. This acculturation involves various aspects, such as moral beliefs as the foundation of character, the Qur'an and hadith as a guide to life, fiqh as a guide to practical worship, and dates (history of Islamic culture) as a means of understanding science based on Islamic history. Mental development at MTs Al-Muhdariyah Tokke Village is carried out through the internalization of moral values which emphasize the importance of emotional and spiritual intelligence.

The central research question addressed is: To what extent does the talaqqi method influence the improvement in both the quality and quantity of Qur’anic memorization in early childhood learners? This research adopts a qualitative case study approach, complemented by quantitative data through pretest and posttest assessments. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, school leaders, and parents, documentation of daily activities, and memorization tests to measure student achievement. The findings indicate that the talaqqi method, conducted daily through stages of listening, imitating, and repeating Qur’anic verses, is significantly effective in enhancing students’ memorization abilities. On average, students demonstrated an increase of 8 to 9 verses within a four-week period. Indirect impacts were also observed, such as improved discipline, greater love for the Qur’an, and respectful behavior during the learning process. This study contributes practical insights for developing effective tahfidz strategies in Islamic early childhood education and recommends future development of the talaqqi method through the integration of audio-visual media and play-based approaches. The findings highlight the importance of embedding Qur’anic values holistically in early childhood Islamic education.

Religious moderation is an important key in maintaining social harmony amidst the diversity that exists in Indonesia, including in the educational environment. This article discusses the concept and implementation strategy of religious moderation at SMP Negeri 4 Sampit, Central Kalimantan. The research method used in this study is qualitative. The data sources include 4 Muslim teachers, 4 non-Muslim teachers and 1 principal. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data validation techniques used are triangulation techniques and source triangulation. While the data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study show that religious moderation is understood as a balanced religious attitude, namely practicing religious teachings with full confidence while respecting the differences in other people's beliefs. This concept is internalized through the values of love, tolerance, and openness between religious communities. The implementation of the strategy is carried out comprehensively through classroom learning, interfaith activities, and collaboration between religious teachers to build an inclusive school environment. Dialogic approach, teacher role model, and habituation of tolerance values are the main keys in forming moderate student characters. SMP Negeri 4 Sampit aims to form a young generation that is not only religious, but also tolerant and loving within the framework of diversity.

Educational reform in keeping up with the times through strengthening the strategic role of formal institutions such as schools and madrasahs. The facilitative strategy focuses on providing access, support, and opportunities that allow educators, students, and all stakeholders to develop their potential optimally. The research was conducted using a literature study approach that examines educational reform strategies, namely facilitative, educational, persuasion and coercion strategies. The four strategies are designed to optimize the process of educational change in accordance with existing social and institutional characteristics. The facilitative strategy focuses on providing facilities and training for educators, the educational strategy focuses on changing attitudes through information, the persuasion strategy uses a communication approach that builds awareness, while the coercion strategy relies on normative policies that are binding. This article concludes that the success of educational reform is largely determined by the suitability of the strategy to the social context and the readiness of all stakeholders to accept change.

Pregnancy traditions that develop in the Wonosari Village community, Bengkalis District, Riau Province, are a form of local wisdom that contains Islamic religious education values. These traditions are not merely expressions of culture or customs passed down from generation to generation, but also function as a means of internalizing Islamic teachings into people's lives. This study aims to identify and analyze the values of Islamic education contained in social practices during pregnancy, such as four-monthly religious studies, reading of the letters Maryam and Yusuf by pregnant women, and thanksgiving and alms activities. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, light interviews with community leaders, and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that these traditions contain dimensions of monotheism, worship, morals, and Islamic brotherhood education that are implemented contextually and applicatively. These values also strengthen the role of the family and community as agents of non-formal education that instill Islamic teachings naturally since the prenatal period. Therefore, the preservation of pregnancy traditions based on Islamic teachings needs to be continuously encouraged as part of efforts to build a sustainable cultural-based Islamic education system.

Leadership is one of the important factors that can determine the success of educational institutions in achieving goals. The use of an appropriate leadership style, such as democratic leadership, can improve teacher performance and create a conducive learning atmosphere. This study aims to describe the application of democratic leadership style by the principal at SMK Miftahul Ulum Melirang and analyze its influence on teacher performance. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach using the type of field research.The results showed that: 1) Democratic leadership style is implemented through the involvement of teachers in the decision-making process, planning, and evaluation of school programs; 2) Supporting factors for the implementation of this leadership style include effective communication and collaborative work culture, while the main obstacles are lack of training and resistance to change. This study provides recommendations to improve the effectiveness of democratic leadership style in supporting educational success at SMK Miftahul Ulum Melirang.
