Abstract

This study aims to determine the principal's management policies for improving student discipline at the Al-Qur'an Al-Bayyinah Early Childhood Education Center (PAUD) in Grogol Village, Limo District, Depok City. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, which are common stages in descriptive qualitative research. The results indicate that the principal's management policies play a significant role in improving student discipline. These policies are realized through the development of school regulations, the introduction of daily activities, teacher role models, consistent supervision, and good communication with parents. The implementation of these policies has resulted in improved time discipline, behavioral discipline, cleanliness discipline, and social discipline among students within the school environment. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the principal's management policies at the Al-Qur'an Al-Bayyinah Early Childhood Education Center (PAUD) are quite effective in improving student discipline. This success is influenced by the principal's commitment, teacher cooperation, and parental support in fostering learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing development disparities, identify patterns of disparity between coastal and highland regions, and formulate strategies for sustainable regional planning based on a literature review. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following the PRISMA guidelines. Data were obtained from Google Scholar and Garuda through a selection process of 12 relevant scientific articles. The analysis was conducted using a thematic synthesis approach to identify the main themes of each study. The study’s findings indicate that development disparities are influenced by five main factors: infrastructure quality, regional accessibility, investment distribution, geographic conditions, and governance and human resources. Coastal regions tend to be more developed due to economic activities such as fishing and trade, while highland regions still face limitations in infrastructure and accessibility. Therefore, the novelty of this analysis lies in strategies that include improving interregional connectivity, ensuring equitable infrastructure distribution, developing local economic potential, and implementing development policies tailored to regional characteristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses manajemen kelas dalam pembelajaran yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan; serta mengkaji implementasi deep learning dalam manajemen kelas; dan menganalisis implikasi deep learning terhadap manajemen kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan software NVivo 15 melalui tahapan persiapan data, pengorganisasian, kategorisasi, visualisasi, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kelas telah dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui tahapan POAC, namun belum sepenuhnya optimal dalam mengakomodasi keberagaman karakteristik siswa. Implementasi deep learning tampak melalui pendekatan mindful, meaningful dan joyful, meskipun pembelajaran masih cenderung prosedural. Penerapan ini berdampak pada meningkatnya keterlibatan siswa, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta terbentuknya budaya belajar yang lebih positif. Namun demikian, efektivitasnya masih terbatas oleh kesiapan guru dalam manajemen waktu, konsistensi penerapan, dan masih adanya siswa yang pasif. Oleh karena itu, integrasi deep learning dalam manajemen kelas berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, tetapi memerlukan penguatan pada perencanaan strategis, kompetensi guru, dan keberlanjutan implementasi agar hasilnya lebih optimal dan merata.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Growth, Resilience, Innovation, and Trust (GRIT) in improving the quality of learning at SMP IT Cahaya Islam Serpong. The focus of this study includes: (1) the role of GRIT in the learning process, (2) the quality of learning in schools, and (3) the implementation of GRIT in improving the quality of education. This study uses a qualitative case study approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a qualitative descriptive analysis interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2014) which consists of data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that GRIT has an important role in forming an active, collaborative, and meaningful learning ecosystem. The Growth aspect encourages students to have a growth mindset, Resilience forms resilience in facing learning difficulties, Innovation increases creativity in the learning process, while Trust creates a positive and transparent relationship between teachers, students, and parents. The quality of learning at SMP IT Cahaya Islam Serpong is classified as good, characterized by increased student activity, effective learning interactions, and a student-centered learning process. Thus, the GRIT approach can be used as a framework for character building and learning management to holistically improve the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions.
