Abstract

Students often feel bored and unenthusiastic during science classes; limited facilities, insufficient infrastructure, and a lack of teacher creativity in utilizing instructional media are the primary causes of this problem. The purpose of this study is to produce and test the effectiveness of scratch-based card media on ecosystem material for grade III elementary school to optimize student learning scores. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model. This study has subjects consisting of 30 grade III students of Bapangan State Elementary School. Interviews, validation questionnaires from material experts and media experts, teacher and student responses, and pretests and posttests are the data collection techniques used. The material validity test produced a value of 93.3% and for the media validity test reached 84% and 100%, both data are included in the "very feasible" category. For student and teacher responses produced 92.5%, this includes the "very practical" criteria in learning activities, especially regarding ecosystem topics. The normality test for pretest and posttest data produced values of 0.211 and 0.090 so that the data is normally distributed. The Paired Sample T-Test showed a result of <0.001, indicating a significant improvement in learning outcomes between the pretest and posttest results. The N-Gain test was the final test, with an average of 52, which is considered moderate. Based on these results, it can be concluded that scratch-based card media for ecosystems material in third grade elementary school is very effective in helping students optimize learning outcomes.

Abstract

The rapid rise of TikTok Affiliate has transformed how businesses in emerging markets organize operations, yet little is known about its impact on supply chain practices in technically complex sectors. This study aims to explore how TikTok Affiliate marketing reshapes operational dynamics within Indonesia’s motorcycle spare parts ecosystem. Using a qualitative phenomenological design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with affiliators, SME owners, and consumers, complemented by document analysis and field observations. The findings reveal that algorithmic mediation drives unpredictable demand shifts, affiliators act as cultural mediators influencing customer engagement, and SMEs adopt agile, platform-responsive supply chain strategies. Trust and informal governance mechanisms emerged as crucial in sustaining operations, while infrastructural gaps highlight the challenges of digital integration in Indonesia. The study contributes to operations management literature by framing affiliate marketing as an operational phenomenon and provides practical insights for SMEs, policymakers, and digital ecosystem stakeholders.

Abstract

This study discusses the legal position of banks against defaulting debtors from the perspective of the Civil Code (KUHPerdata), focusing on the absence of a bank's legal obligation to negotiate. The research emphasizes that the Civil Code does not require banks to negotiate before pursuing their legal rights, such as collecting obligations, demanding compensation, or executing guarantees. This study is based on two main legal principles, namely the principle of freedom of contract, which provides space for the parties to determine the content of the agreement including the negotiation clause, and the principle of good faith, which limits the exercise of rights to be carried out in a reasonable and proportionate manner. The research is normative-juridical, analyzing articles of the Civil Code, the Banking Law, and related legal literature, and assessing the juridical implications of the absence of negotiation obligations for banks. The results of this study are expected to provide a conceptual understanding of the rights and obligations of banks and debtors as well as alternative to normative non-performing loans.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed the way society accesses and understands religious information through social media, search engines, and AI-based chatbots. This condition creates challenges related to religious misinformation, algorithmic bias, and the shift of religious authority from traditional scholars to digital platforms. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of religious misinformation in the AI ecosystem, examine the crisis of religious authority, and formulate a religious moderation strategy based on digital literacy. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a library research approach. Data were collected from scientific journals, books, reports, and recent studies related to AI, digital religion, and religious moderation. Data analysis used critical and interpretative content analysis through data reduction, categorization, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that AI algorithms contribute to filter bubbles, echo chambers, fragmented religious understanding, and AI hallucination in religious discourse. Digital popularity increasingly replaces sanad-based authority and creates algorithmic authority in religious practices. Religious moderation based on wasathiyah values and digital tabayyun literacy becomes an important strategy to mitigate radicalization and misinformation in digital spaces. AI should function as an educational assistant, while moral and theological authority remains centered on scholars and religious institutions.

Abstract

Listening comprehension continues to present significant challenges for English freshman students, particularly due to limited exposure to authentic language input, rapid speech delivery, and the lack of interactive listening practice. This study investigated the effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically ChatGPT, in enhancing students’ listening skills through the implementation of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research involved 25 freshman students and was conducted in two cycles encompassing planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were obtained from listening tests, classroom observations, questionnaires, and reflective evaluations. The findings revealed notable improvements in students’ listening comprehension, classroom participation, and learning motivation. The study concludes that ChatGPT has substantial potential to support listening instruction in higher education contexts.

Abstract

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration into English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instruction has brought up both  new opportunities and difficulties in language instruction. This study investigates ESP teachers’ views on AI integration, focusing on teachers’ readiness, perceived advantages, and encountered obstacles in ESP instruction. Employing a qualitative descriptive design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with six ESP teachers from public and private universities and polytechnics in East Java, Indonesia. The participants were purposively chosen based on their experience in teaching ESP and exposure to AI-assisted learning approaches. Data were examined thematically using  Braun and Clarke’s thematic analysis. The results show that teachers generally interpret AI as pedagogically beneficial for improving instructional efficiency, generating contextualized ESP materials, providing rapid feedback, and supporting students’ autonomous learning. However, teachers’ readiness for AI integration remains conditional and influenced by AI literacy, pedagogical considerations, ethical concerns, academic integrity, and institutional support. The study also identifies several obstacles, including student overreliance on AI, inaccuracies and hallucinations in AI-generated content, limited infrastructure, and the absence of clear institutional policies regarding AI use in academic settings. The study highlights the importance of AI literacy, ethical guidelines, and institutional support to ensure responsible and pedagogically meaningful AI integration in ESP education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to ascertain whether junior high school students who received instruction using Choral Reading with Kingsoft Office outperformed those who received instruction using the Grammar Translation Method (GTM). This study employed a quasi-experimental approach, a type of quantitative research. The research subjects were second year students of SMPN 3 Sutojayan-Blitar academic year 2025-2026. There were two classes chosen, Class VIII-C is Group 1 as experimental group of 20 students taught using Choral Reading with Kingsoft Office and Group 2, Class VIII-D, consists of 20 students who are taught using GTM as a control group. To compute the data, the researchers employed ANCOVA. The results of the study showed that students who received instruction using the Choral Reading method outperformed those who received instruction using GTM in terms of accomplishment. This is demonstrated by the significant value, F (1.37) = F 5.144, P 0.029 < 0.05, which is less than 0.05. Furthermore, the students taught using GTM had a mean of 72.258, whereas the students taught using the Choral Reading approach had a higher mean of 76.442, according to the differences between the adjusted means for the two groups, which are displayed in the Estimated Marginal Means table. In conclusion, Choral Reading with Kingsoft Office shown to be more effective in teaching junior high school students to read, particularly descriptive texts.
