Abstract

Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) is a widely recognized technique in the animal farming industry, especially for optimizing feed efficiency and reducing the operational costs. A key aspect of managing FCR involves achieving efficiency in the correlation between the number of animals and the required feed quantity. However, to achieve accurately counting large populations of animals, such as chickens, presents a significant challenge especially in large-scale farming. Computer vision technology offers a promising solution to automate this counting process, helping the FCR management. This research specifically evaluates the capability of the YOLOv11 model for real-time chicken detection. Evaluation of the model's performance indicates high efficacy, achieving accuracy, precision, and recall values of 93%, 94%, and 98%, respectively. The implementation of the technology for precise chicken detection facilitates the accurate adjustment and optimization of feed allocation, which can substantially enhance the overall FCR process.

Abstract

The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court issued Letter No. 73/KMA/HK.01/IX/2015, which regulates related to significant changes in the advocate organization system. The letter of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was not accompanied by a revision of the Advocate Law, so the legal uncertainty that led to his profession until now continues and affects the upholding of the ethics of the legal profession itself. The existence of legal uncertainty causes conflicts between members, which can cause members to be fired or resign from one advocate organization and then easily move to another advocate organization. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze related to the legal rule in Indonesia for advocates who have been fired from one organization to another, as well as to find out the legal impact of unregulated procedures. This type of research is normative legal research with a conceptual approach, a legislative approach and a case approach. From this study, it can be concluded that in terms of the problem of the rule of law in Indonesia for advocates who have been fired from one organization to another, it can be said that there is a legal vacuum (rechstvacuum), in positive law the legal vacuum can be said to be a legislative vacuum. Furthermore, the legal impact resulting from the unregulated procedures on the legal vacuum on the advocate organization causes legal uncertainty in the community and the advocates themselves and further causes chaos to the service in the legal field.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and social media has allowed the creation of remixes and mashups that are increasingly popular, but often have the potential to infringe copyright. Many remixes and mashups are commercialized without permission from the original copyright holders, causing problems in the protection of rights to the work. This research is important to provide a deeper understanding of the challenges and solutions of copyright protection in cyberspace, especially related to works that are traded on social media platforms. Remixes of songs carried out by content creators by changing the tempo of the song and the tone of the singer's voice are done without the permission of the creator and/or copyright holders. The purpose of this study is to analyze the form of copyright infringement that occurs in remix and mashup works that are commercialized on social media. The method used is a qualitative approach with case studies, collecting data through literature studies and juridical analysis of the laws and regulations that regulate copyright in Indonesia and related international regulations. The research also involved interviews with legal experts and social media practitioners to gain practical perspectives on the implementation of copyright protection. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to optimizing legal protection for copyright holders of remix and mashup works commercialized on social media.

Abstract

The present study investigates cognitive processes of students while understanding character dialogue in modern English literature through a qualitative approach. Highlighting inferential thinking and perspective-taking, the research aims to explore how learning individuals interpret and react to advanced literary dialogue. The findings of the study identify that learner apply inferential strategies to understand implied meaning, affective undertones, and relational dynamics in character dialogue. Furthermore, perspective-taking played a central role, as students were more able to empathize and interpret more deeply when they adopted multiple character perspectives. The study identifies challenges students face, such as the inability to maintain inferences and coping with novel points of view, particularly in cross-cultural contexts. Pedagogic implications indicate that the teaching of literature should explicitly promote inferential thinking, perspective-taking, and cultural awareness leading to a more empathetic, integrated reading of literature. The present study makes a contribution towards the increasing pool of literature documenting cognitive investment in literary learning that reveals how literary teaching can assist students' critical thinking and emotional intelligence through exploring character dialogue.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of DRTA strategy with Instagram media in teaching reading to senior high school students. A quasi-experimental design, non-randomized pre-test post-test was used, involving second-year senior high school students. Grade XI IPS 3 served as the experimental group, while Grade XI IPS 5 served as the control group. Pre-tests were given to both groups before treatment. The experimental group received instruction using DRTA strategy with Instagram media, while the control group was taught using GTM method. The findings of the research showed that statistically the students taught using DRTA strategy showed significant higher achievement than those taught using conventional method (GTM). It can be seen from the differences between the means of the two groups, which are reported in the Estimated Marginal means table as DRTA method is 79.003, which is greater and 73.569 for the students taught using conventional method (GTM). From the practical view, DRTA strategy contributed the improving students’ reading skill especially in Hortatory Exposition text, because DRTA strategy provides clear directions; this encourages the students to read easily and helps students to find or builds the idea before they read the text. From the findings, it is suggested that DRTA strategy with Instagram media should be introduced, practiced and implemented in the English class especially in reading comprehension on Hortatory Exposition text.

Abstract

This study explores the factors influencing English speaking proficiency among university students in Indonesia, specifically at ABC University. Despite English being a crucial part of the national curriculum, many students still face challenges in speaking the language fluently and confidently. The study identifies several key barriers to speaking proficiency, including psychological factors such as anxiety and lack of self-confidence, as well as linguistic challenges related to vocabulary limitations, pronunciation difficulties, and grammatical uncertainties. These barriers hinder students' ability to actively participate in speaking activities and limit their overall language development. However, the study also highlights proactive strategies employed by students to improve their speaking skills, including peer practice, media engagement, the use of language learning apps, and participation in English clubs. The findings suggest that addressing both psychological and linguistic barriers through targeted interventions, such as emotional skills training and increased speaking practice opportunities, is essential for enhancing English speaking proficiency. Additionally, fostering supportive classroom environments and incorporating technology-driven learning tools can further support students' language acquisition. This study contributes to the growing body of research on English language learning in Indonesia and provides practical recommendations for improving speaking skills in higher education contexts.

Abstract

The proposal seminar is a key academic milestone, yet many institutions still manage it manually, leading to delays, repeated revisions, fragmented documentation, and high administrative workload. Few studies, however, examine lightweight, low-cost approaches for improving such academic workflows without relying on full automation. This study analyses the proposal-seminar process by translating the existing SOP and administrative guidelines into a BPMN model and evaluating its performance using the Devil’s Quadrangle framework. The as-is model reveals issues across all four dimensions, i.e. long cycle times, high process effort, inconsistent documentation, and limited flexibility. A lightweight to-be process is proposed, emphasizing simplification, standardization, and the use of existing digital tools such as Google Forms, shared folders, and templates. Evaluation results show positive improvements across time, cost, and quality, demonstrating that modest interventions can enhance academic administrative processes. The study also offers practical implications, showing that faculties can implement these enhancements immediately using existing resources without additional budget or IT infrastructure. Future work may include quantitative performance measurement and gradual integration of automation to further strengthen process efficiency.

Abstract

Compared to other legal regime issues, the issue of election law can be said to be more complex. In addition to the numerous categories of problems, the implementation of handling election law issues also involves many institutions, such as Gakkumdu, which consists of Bawaslu (Election Supervisory Board), the Public Prosecutor's Office, and the Police. This research is interesting to discuss because it deals with matters of authority related to institutional prestige, which may give rise to institutional controversies that deserve attention. Some of the discussions that will be addressed are the issue of ratio legislation or the foundation for the establishment of Gakkumdu and its position in enforcing criminal election laws. Furthermore, the urgency of Gakkumdu's authority in the process of enforcing criminal election laws and their problems will be discussed. The research method used is normative, employing a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The research findings conclude that, first, the ratio legis aims to achieve the principle of coordination to align the understanding and handling patterns of election-related crimes among Bawaslu, the Police, and the Public Prosecutor's Office. Second, Gakkumdu plays a crucial role in enforcing criminal election laws, which requires a prompt enforcement process. However, there are often problems in its enforcement, one of which is the lack of shared perception and agreement among Bawaslu, the Police, and the Public Prosecutor's Office in handling election-related criminal cases.
