Moreover, the quantitative data were collected by using pre-test and post-test to the sample class. The finding revealed descriptive statistics of the sample studied, pre-test and post-test. For the pre-test value, an average learning outcome or mean of 60.13 is obtained. While for the post-test score, it was obtained the average value of learning outcomes of 77.25. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient or correlation is equal to 0.867 with a significance value (Sig.) of 0.000. The finding indicates that Collaborative learning using Padlet-based teaching materials in Mechanical Engineering class could influence students’ writing outcomes.

Along with fast technological advancements, Islamic education problems in Islamic boarding schools are becoming increasingly diversified. They must adapt to technological and digital advancements dubbed the industrial revolution 4.0. When it comes to the fast growth of information technology, the public will constantly question Pesantren's negotiating stance. As a result, it may be appropriate for Islamic boarding schools to loosen their regulations regarding the use of devices or gadgets while maintaining rigorous controls over technology to execute the learning process in the Islamic boarding school setting. This study seeks to ascertain how Islamic boarding schools address the difficulties of the 4.0 revolution period through their educational techniques. This study employs a qualitative approach through the use of a literature review. The findings indicate that Islamic education in pesantren has a substantial impact on educating and moulding the morals of pupils who adhere to the Qur'an and Sunnah. Nonetheless, the needs of the industrial revolution 4.0 era have compelled pesantren to open and develop into institutions as suppliers of Islamic education. Modern Islamic education may address current issues while maintaining the religious principles that define education in the pesantren. This study employs three Islamic teaching principles in Islamic boarding schools: disruptive mentality, self-driving, and reshaping or creation.

The purpose of this research is to examine the challenges faced by the learner and the activities they undertake concerning informal digital learning of English (IDLE) implementation in the English as foreign language (EFL) context. The impact of the COVID-19 on the education sector feels very challenging. Especially in EFL learning at the high/secondary school level, it is crucial since the skills are needed to support such level students' more complex need. It leads many experts to find the formal model's best alternative: playing digital games as IDLE. However, the current indications showed various challenges in the efforts of implementing IDLE within an academic context. As part of a more extensive sequential qualitative mixed-method study, seven high school students from various Indonesia parts were interviewed. From the findings, it is discovered that there were still some challenges regarding the implementation of IDLE in an academic context: physical and behavioural assumptions, dealing with the growth of physical and behavioural effect misconception and logical fallacy within the community; communal judgment, the a priori assumption of 'gaming stereotype' which massively wide-spread; and, technical challenges, regarding the implemental availability of the contemporary learning model. It is also recommended that finding solutions to these challenges requires many parties' involvement. It is due to some of the challenges were fundamentals. It is expected that many parties' involvement will make the resulting efforts to be a holistic solution.
