Abstract

A good democracy can be seen from the opportunities of all people involved in the political process. Opening opportunities for public participation to compete for political positions at the regional and national levels according to applicable regulations. In fact, the community is hampered by social status as a result of the existence of a political dynasty. The presence of political dynasties at the regional and national levels makes the substance of democracy difficult to implement. The approach taken in this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with purposive sampling technique with interview techniques with direct sources of information. As well as secondary data that comes from various references such as documents and websites that contain the data needed by the author in this study. The results of the research of the Ahmadi-Alvia Pair were significantly superior in demographic factors, because this pair came from the Pesisir Bukit and Pondok Tinggi sub-districts which were very lucky demographically. And the tagline "change" is also the key to the couple's success, because Fikar Azami was the son of the Mayor of Sungai Full two previous terms. So that people see the Ahmadi-Alvia figure as a figure who can change the Full River City with the vision of "Creating a Fully Advanced River City (Independent, Religious, Honest, Superior) and Just".

Abstract

The Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) prototype at the Morowali Metal Industry Polytechnic has the main component in the form of a transformer that generates heat actively. The increase in temperature that occurs in the transformer is caused by continuous loading. In addition, a significant and relatively high temperature rise in the transformer, can reduce the performance of the transformer. This research will design a transformer cooling system on the EAF prototype. The temperature of the transformer will be maintained at a certain temperature until there is no longer an increase in temperature due to loading. The wire-tube cooling system in the transformer uses water and transformer oil as the cooling medium. Regulating the flow rate of the water fluid in the copper pipe is expected to be able to further optimize the cooling process in the transformer. The results show that the design of the wire-tube cooling system is able to release the temperature of the transformer oil with a heat transfer rate that varies according to the flow rate of the cooling water fluid. Experiments carried out for 30 minutes resulted in a heat transfer rate of Qu 760.5 kJ/s with a water flow rate of 2.5 liters/minute, Qu 1661.2 kJ/s with a water flow rate of 5 liters/minute, Qu 2558.5 kJ/kg with a water flow rate of 5 liters/minute. the water flow rate is 7.5 liters/minute and Qu 3213.9 kJ/kg with a water flow rate of 9.20 liters/minute, this shows that the higher the water flow rate, the higher the heat transfer.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of factors that: influence consumer attitudes in choosing to enter a tutoring institution in the city of Padang in terms of potential factors, decision factors, partial and simultaneous consumer satisfaction value factors on consumer attitudes. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a population of 20738 students who become consumers at tutoring institutions in the city of Padang. The sampling technique used is the Probability Random Sampling technique so that the sample of this study amounted to 392 people. The data were analyzed in two ways, namely: 1) using multiple linear regression to determine the factors that influence consumer attitudes with t and F tests at a significance level of = 0.05; 2) The attitude model of consumers choosing to enter a tutoring institution in Padang City is predicted based on the attitude toward the object model or the Fishbein model. The results showed that partially the institutional potential factors had a positive influence, the purchasing decision factor had a positive influence and the consumer satisfaction value factor had a significant negative influence on the attitudes of consumers choosing to enter a tutoring institution in the city of Padang. Meanwhile, simultaneously these factors have a significant influence on consumer attitudes in choosing tutoring institutions in the city of Padang. The consumer attitude model based on the Fishbein model choosing to enter a tutoring institution in the city of Padang has an average score of 32.62. This means that the tutoring institution in the city of Padang has the attributes that consumers want.

Abstract

For the Mentawai people in Rereiket, pigs are very important animals. This is reflected in their social and cultural life through traditional ceremonies (punen). Pigs are used as an intermediary (gaud) in a traditional ceremony whose purposes are offerings, worship, symbols and requests for thanks and fortune-telling activities. This is motivated by the belief of the Rereiket People, namely Arat Sabulungan which regulates human relations with nature, fellow humans and other creatures (spirits). In addition, pigs also function as the most important property, because they can be used as dowry payments (alat toga), tulou (customary fines) and trade (economics) and otcai (gifts). The relationship that the Rereiket people build with pigs is a cultural ploy, where the insistence on modernization through development has obscured the culture of the Rereiket people. Thus, inside the Uma (traditional house) the skull of a pig's head is displayed and becomes a symbol that the ritual continues. The pig skull is called Ute 'Sainak which means that even in the urgency of modernization the cultural agenda (custom rituals) still takes place in the living spaces of the Rereiket people. So that Ute' Sainak became a strategy to maintain the life and cultural identity of the Mentawai people in Rereiket.

Abstract

Globally, nearly 85% of malaria cases occur in nineteen Indian sub-Saharan African countries.Tropical and subtropical countries are endemic areas for this disease because they have a rainy season that provides a high availability of clean water, where vector mosquitoes can lay eggs and breed.. KForest activities such as agriculture, logging and gold mining are considered high risk occupations for exposure to malaria, this is because forest workers, especially miners and loggers, often spend weeks to months at work..This article uses a literature review approach with a cross-sectional study design. Articles are searched through electronic databases systematically onScience Direct, Malaria Journal, and PubMedpublished in the last 10 years and taken between the years (2013-2022) using the keywords (risk factorAND malaria AND “mine workers). Based on the results of data extraction from search engines of the Science Direct, Malaria Journal, and PubMed methods, there are 15 journals selected based on inclusion criteria. FactorsThe risk of malaria in mining area communities is age, gender, education, knowledge, behavior, attitudes, and environmental conditions.This study serves as a baseline for assessing the impacts of mining activities in relation to future vector control interventions.Malaria elimination efforts can be accelerated by targeting improvements in treatment practices, diagnosis, and reporting to private pharmacies, private clinics, and grocery stores. Programs should also seek to increase awareness and understanding of malaria among at-risk populations, in particular the importance of using preventive measures and following a comprehensive antimalarial treatment program.

Abstract

This study aims to develop videos of basic badminton technical skills as a learning medium for badminton athletes. This research is a research and development research and development (R&D). This research was conducted in several steps, namely: Potential and Problems, Data Collection, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision, Product Trial, Product Revision, Usage Trial, Product Revision, Mass Production. Validation was carried out by media experts and media experts. The population in this study was badminton athletes PB. Boy Junior Kuala Tungkal with a total of 5 athletes for small group trials and 10 athletes for large group trials. The results of the research on the development of the Jambi University Badminton Learning Video Tutorials are worthy of being used as learning media with the 'Very Good' category. This can be seen from the results of research from material experts 91% and media experts 94% as well as large group trials of 88%, and small group trials of 76% with the "Good" category. Thus it can be said that the video media of badminton basic technical skills has been declared suitable for use as learning media.

Abstract

The Association of Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals (ICMI), which was founded on 7 December 1990, was an important and quite populist organization during the end of the New Order. This article aims to explain the political tendencies of ICMI in Islamic politics in Indonesia. This article uses a historical approach from available documents such as articles, books and others. This article finds that the establishment of ICMI in its development was used by its members as a political tool. Between the State (the New Order government) and ICMI have a mutually beneficial relationship. On the one hand, with the existence of ICMI, Muslim groups who are members of ICMI are easier to promote Islamic values to the State so that the State is expected to be more Islamic. On the other hand, the New Order State used ICMI as a political tool. The New Order embraced Muslim groups into ICMI to support the continuation of the New Order's political power.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the sanguine personality type of Magi Diela in Dian Purnomo's novel Perempuan Yang Crying to Bulan Hitam. In carrying out this research, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research type. The data from this study were taken from quotations related to the sanguine personality type of the character Magi Diela in Dian Purnomo's novel Perempuan Yang Crying to Bulan Hitam. The source of the data for this research comes from the novel Women Who Cry to the Black Moon by Dian Purnomo which was published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama in 2020. The data collection technique in this study was to use documentation techniques which were used as data to be analyzed with a structural approach. This technique is used by the researchers to describe the sanguine personality type of Magi Diela in the novel Perempuan Yang Crying to Bulan Hitam by Dian Purnomo. As for the number of quotes related to the sanguine personality type of Magi Diela's character in Dian Purnomo's novel Perempuan Yang Crying to Bulan Hitam, there were 61 findings. The sanguine personality type of Magi Diela in the novel Perempuan Yang Crying to the Black Moon by Dian Purnomo is an individual who has an open and sociable nature. So like new experiences and will be excited in facing life's challenges.

Abstract

One of the basic rights of every citizen is to obtain educational services, as stated in the preamble to the 1945 Constitution. Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System article 12 paragraph 1 letter a mandates that every student in the education unit receives religious education according to the religion prescribed by him, adhered to and taught by religious educators within the same religion. After the decision of the Constitutional Court of MK Number 97/PUU-XIV/2016 and the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture 27 of 2016 became a new spirit and opportunities for believers in Indonesia. The Constitutional Court's decision did not eliminate the problems experienced by believers in relation to access to education. The guarantee of religious and moral education services for children of spiritual beliefs in accordance with their own beliefs based on article 8 paragraph 4 about the Covenant on Social and Political Rights becomes substantial in accessing religious education services. This study seeks to figure out the dynamics of the implementation of religious education services and practices experienced by children of spiritual beliefs and community strategies in gaining access to educational services.

Abstract

This research is to look at the macro-economic influence and ownership structure on financial performance with financing as a moderation variable in the Islamic banking sector in Indonesia in the period 2015 - 2019. This research uses the first independent variable, namely macro-economic variables consisting of inflation rate, central bank interest rate and rupiah exchange rate against US dollar. This study uses the second independent variable, namely the variable ownership structure of the company with indicators in the form of institutional ownership, foreign ownership and individual ownership and public ownership. Moderation variables are financing with indicators mudharabah financing, musyarakah financing and qardh financing. Dependent variable are financial performance with capital adequacy ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing Gross (NPF Gross), Return On Asset (ROA), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Rupiah Minimum Mandatory Giro (GWMR). The research sample used was sharia banking sector in Indonesia for 5 years observation period, starting from 2015 - 2019 recorded as 14 companies, which have complete financial statements and who have a complete research indicator report in the annual financial statements during the research period of 11 companies. This research is in the form of explanatory research and data analysis using Partial Least Square with Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results showed, Macro-economic variables have no effect on variable financial performance, variable ownership structure affects variable financial performance, variable financing is able to moderate the relationship between macro-economic variables and variable financial performance and has a negative direction (weakening) its influence on financial performance, variable financing is able to moderate the relationship between variable ownership structure and variable financial performance and has a positive direction (strengthening) its influence on financial performance.
