Abstract

There are two objectives achieved in this research, including: 1) developing tools for developing online learning through electronic simulation interactive media in macroeconomics courses; and 2) measuring or knowing the level of accuracy of Online Learning Development Through Electronic Simulation Interactive Media in Economics Courses. The research method used is a Design Based Research (DBR) approach and 22 students of the Faculty of Education and Science of the Economic Education Study Program at Universitas Batanghari as research subjects. There are four stages in the Design Based Research (DBR) used, namely 1) stage I Analysis of Problems in the field; 2) Phase II Development of Online Learning Device Design and Prototype Through MISE; 3) stage III. Testing and Completing Prototypes of Online Learning Tools Through MISE; and 4) stage IV Reflection on Learning Device Products. Data collection techniques are through observation, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Analysis of the data used in processing the results of this research data using qualitative, quantitative, and mix method analysis. This research produces an Electronic Simulation Interactive Media (MISE) learning product that is packaged in the form of the Adobe Flash Professional CS6 Software application for macroeconomics courses with an accuracy level using the validation test of material experts and interactive learning media experts which can be seen that the results of material expert validation are 4 .5 or good and the result of media expert validation is 4.44 or good.

Abstract

Economic behavior is the actions or reactions of an object in the form of both rationality, morality, lifestyle, efficiency in consumptive activities, and effectiveness in productive activities. In this paper, the actions to be discussed, analyzed, and studied are actions about rationality and morality in economic learning. In essence, rationality in economic learning teaches students to act rationally in taking economic action. The result of this act of rationality forms students to become materialists, to have economic value, and to maximize the benefits of rational thinking. However, not all economic learning is rationalized because in economic learning there is economic morality that can educate students to be more moral to become economicus man (economic man). Morality relates to one's actions in social relationships, which emphasizes one's concern for the existence of others.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine the contribution of a feminist economic perspective in the family economic education of the Jambi Malay to instill the Pancasila economic life as seen from the mindset, attitude and behavior patterns. Research methods using qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were housewives as key informants namely SHJ, RTW, RTSE, IDRI, SILSY, and FAU in providing economic education to embed Pancasila economic life. The results of this study are the contribution of a feminist economic perspective in this study is the perspective of housewives viewed from the mindset, attitude patterns, and behavior in family economic education teaches that it must prioritize adat bersendi syara’, syara’bersendi kitabullah that is combined with values -cultural values such as the value of helping to help, the value of togetherness, the value of cooperation, the value of responsibility, the value of surrender, the value of planning, the value of opportunity, and the value of hard work. These values are applied in carrying out economic life in both the family and community environment. Conclusion family economic education provided from the point of view of the Malay housewife has instilled the Pancasila economic behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of factors that: influence consumer attitudes in choosing to enter a tutoring institution in the city of Padang in terms of potential factors, decision factors, partial and simultaneous consumer satisfaction value factors on consumer attitudes. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a population of 20738 students who become consumers at tutoring institutions in the city of Padang. The sampling technique used is the Probability Random Sampling technique so that the sample of this study amounted to 392 people. The data were analyzed in two ways, namely: 1) using multiple linear regression to determine the factors that influence consumer attitudes with t and F tests at a significance level of = 0.05; 2) The attitude model of consumers choosing to enter a tutoring institution in Padang City is predicted based on the attitude toward the object model or the Fishbein model. The results showed that partially the institutional potential factors had a positive influence, the purchasing decision factor had a positive influence and the consumer satisfaction value factor had a significant negative influence on the attitudes of consumers choosing to enter a tutoring institution in the city of Padang. Meanwhile, simultaneously these factors have a significant influence on consumer attitudes in choosing tutoring institutions in the city of Padang. The consumer attitude model based on the Fishbein model choosing to enter a tutoring institution in the city of Padang has an average score of 32.62. This means that the tutoring institution in the city of Padang has the attributes that consumers want.

Abstract

One of the teaching materials that can improve student competence in cognitive aspects and student learning activities is Electronic Worksheets. Gastropods is a sub-material on the diversity of living things which is only discussed in general by the teacher so that the introduction of Gastropods to students is still lacking. To introduce and make learning more interesting, researchers provide an alternative E-LKPD assisted by wizer.me which displays descriptions, examples, pictures of Gastropods and activities that involve students directly with the natural surroundings. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) development research using the ADDIE development model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The type of research data is qualitative and quantitative. Collecting research data using media and material validation questionnaires, perceptions of teachers and students. The test subjects in this study were 1 biology teacher, class XI students at Al-Falah Islamic High School, Jambi City, who were divided into small groups consisting of 6 people and large groups consisting of 23 people. The results of the research on the validation of material experts obtained a percentage of 83.33% in the very good category. Furthermore, the results of the validation of media experts obtained a percentage of 85% in the very good category. The results of the teacher's perception of 95% in the very good category, the results of the small group test obtained a percentage of 94.72% in the very good category and the large group test obtained a percentage of 85.94 in the very good category. Thus the E-LKPD assisted by wizer.me on the developed Gastropods sub-material is suitable for use as teaching materials that can support the learning process based on the results of validation of material experts, media experts, teacher responses and student responses

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to build a strategy model for optimizing the achievement of IKU 5 at Jambi University. The Main Performance Index (KPI) is a benchmark of achievement made by universities in Indonesia. As a highlight, Jambi University's KPI 5 became one of the indicators whose achievement exceeded the target of 142.05%, compared to other KPI achievements. However, this achievement was not accompanied by an increase in achievement growth compared to the previous year. The decline in growth from the previous year was -51.12%. This study uses action research methods. The deepening of the problem is carried out by direct observation and document review. The available information is used as the basis for formulating a strategy model for achieving KPI 5 at Jambi University. The results of the study indicate that the main problems that need to be resolved are related to (a) management of recognition of Lecturer Performance Burden (BKD), (b) internationally recognized research ideas and results, and (c) lecturer participation in conducting research and community service. The strategies developed include (a) planning research outcomes that meet the KPI 5 indicators, (b) improving BKD management, (c) providing incentives, and (d) participation of international academic associations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antar variabel yaitu mengenai Kuliah Sambil Bekerja dan Motivasi Belajar terhadap Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif pada Mahasiswa Jurusan PIPS Angkatan 2019-2021 FKIP Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan PIPS Angkatan 2019-2021 FKIP Universitas Jambi dengan jumlah responden 119. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar angket secara online berupa link google form kepada responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan program bantuan SPPS 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara parsial (terpisah) dan secara simultan (bersama-sama) antara kuliah sambil bekerja dan motivasi belajar terhadap indeks prestasi kumulatif. Diperoleh nilai thitung variabel (X1) sebesar 5,047 bertanda positif, sedangkan ttabel sebesar 1,657. Sehingga nilai thitung lebih besar daripada nilai ttabel (5,047 > 1,657) bertanda positif pada sig 0,000 < 0,05. Dan dari perhitungan thitung variabel (X2) sebesar 4,616 bertanda positif, sedangkan ttabel sebesar 1,657. Sehingga nilai thitung lebih besar daripada nilai ttabel (4,616 > 1,657) bertanda positif pada sig 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji F dengan perhitungan SPSS 25, maka terlihat nilai Fhitung sebesar 299,731 sedangkan Ftabel sebesar 3,073. Maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan antara kuliah sambil bekerja dan motivasi belajar terhadap indeks prestasi kumulatif. Kata kunci: kuliah sambil bekerja, motivasi belajar, indeks prestasi kumulatif.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of green intellectual capital and organizational environmental management on green organizational identity and its impact on the green competitive strategy. In this study, green intellectual capital is represented by green human capital, green structural capital, and green relational capital. Meanwhile, the organization's environmental management is represented by an environmental-oriented organizational culture, environmental-oriented leadership, and environmental-oriented capabilities. This study applies a survey that is distributed to 170 respondents who have managerial positions. The sample selection for functional is that respondents have influence and experience in the organization where the respondent works. The number of questionnaires that were successfully returned from the respondents was 146 pieces. From the results of hypothesis testing, it is known that green human capital and environmentally oriented culture have a significant positive effect on green organizational identity. Meanwhile, green structural capital, green relational capital, environmentally oriented leadership, and environmentally oriented abilities do not affect green organizational identity. Green structural capital and green relational capital have a significant positive effect on the green competitive strategy. In contrast, green human capital, environmentally oriented culture, environmental-oriented leadership, and environmental-oriented abilities, green organizational identity do not affect the green competitive strategy.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of understanding research methodology and the Adversity Quotient on students' ability to prepare theses in the PIPS Department Class of 2019, Jambi University, both partially and simultaneously. This research is research with a quantitative approach using a survey method. The results show that the variable understanding research methodology has a positive and significant effect on understanding research methodology and the adversity quotient has a positive and significant effect on students' ability to compose a thesis with the F test value, Fcount>Ftable value, namely 25.430 > 3 .06 with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a coefficient of determination (R2) value of 0.265 or 26.5%.

Abstract

Sepanjang pengamatan dilakukan di SDN 87 dan 22 Kota Jambi Kecamatan Danau Telauk Kota Jambi, ditemukan permasalahan klasik yakni proses pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada penguasaan materi pelajaran dan tidak memperhatikan substansi, makna atau nilai yang terkandung dari materi pelajaran. Permasalahan lainnya ditemukan perbedaan-perbedaan gaya belajar peserta didik yang menjadi ciri khas dalam membentuk struktur pengetahuannya, berkurangnya jumlah permintaan atau jumlah peserta didik yang masuk di sekolah tersebut karena masyarakat sekitar beranggapan bahwa kurangnya pelayanan dan kualitas pembelajaran yang diterima di sekolah tersebut mengingat jumlah yang masuk ke sekolah tersebut semakin berkurang. Sehingga seharusnya guru memberikan pelayanan yang prima bagi peserta didik yang memiliki karakteristik belajar yang berbeda tersebut. Metode analisis dilakukan secara analisis SWOT, survey pelaksanaan pelayanan prima. Perancangan yang dilakukan: 1). Frame work penerapan pelayanan prima berbasis digital melalui aplikasi “rumah Belajar”; 2). Model pelayanan prima yang diterapkan; 3). Intervensi peserta didik dengan mendesain tampilan kebutuhan peserta didik 4) Komunikasi guru dan peserta didik; 5) Implementasi; dan 6) Pengukuran. Adapun hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) pelayanan prima pembelajaran berbasis digital melalui aplikasi “rumah belajar” bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran yang ada di sekolah SDN 87 dan SDN 22 Kota Jambi. Hal ini dikarenakan banyaknya keluhan masyarakat terkait kurang maksimalnya para guru dalam memberikan pembelajaran karena terhambat teknologi. Untuk itu, pengabdian ini membina dan melatih guru-guru agar dapat mengoperasikan media digital melalui aplikasi “rumah belajar” dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai wujud dari bentuk pelayanan prima yang diberikan sekolah tersebut kepada masyarakat, dan 2) Dari hasil evaluasi dan monitoring diketahui bahwa diterapkannya pelayanan prima melalui media digital aplikasi “rumah belajar” yang dilakukan penyelenggara pendidikan dalam hal ini SDN 87 dan SDN 22 Kota Jambi dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesulitan peserta didik dalam belajar, kegundahan orang tua dalam menghadapi anaknya yang kesulitan belajar, dan peserta didik juga merasa puas terhadap jawaban guru dari kesulitan peserta didik yang dialami, yang pada akhirnya guru adalah sebagai pelayan peserta didik.
