Abstract

The specific characteristic of the adolescents is their existential. It means that the adolescent’s involvement in term of thought and their era’s situation are closely related to the development of the adolescence itself in the transition from childhood to adolescence. In this transition process, the adolescents have to be able to put their existence between the social transformation and the demand to be mature which come from their social environment. This perspective makes them to be something that is interested to be discussed. This writing will try to give a kind of description about the involvement of adolescents in reading and interpreting their religions in the point of view of Søren Kierkegaard’s subjectivism.  The discussion will focus on the diversity elements of the adolescents which are closely related to the subjectivity. This aims to describe the characteristics and intensity of the diversity‘s struggle faced by the adolescents which is more existential.

Abstract

Religious rights of the Indonesian people have been regulated in the 1945 Constitution, Law No. 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights. The Fulfillment of the Religious Rights of Persons with Disabilities (PD) has been regulated in article 14 of Law No. 8 of 2016 concerning Person with Disability. Protection and fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities is regulated in the Bali Regulation No. 9  of 2015 (Perda 9/2015).This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with a socio-normative approach related to the implementation of Perda 9/2015, identifying the challenges and opportunities of PD in Bali in obtaining their religious and customary rights. Identification is important to encourage the social inclusion and harmonization in life. Informants were selected by using purposive sampling involving disability organizations: Pertuni, Kube Darma Bakti, RwaBineda, Gerkatin, Bali Deaf Community, YBSH Foundation and Puspadi Bali. Data collection methods were observation, interview and literature study. The existence of Persons with Disability (PD) is the largest minority in the world and part of the diversity of Indonesian social and cultural structures. PD often experiences social exclusion, including in carrying out religious practices and beliefs. This discourse is often over looked because the stereotype of PD is identical with the socio-economic problems handled by the social service. Some obstacles in fulfilling the religious and belief rights of persons with disabilities: places of worship are not accessible, scarcity of religious teaching materials and lack of service facilities for PD, especially in various religious celebrations.

Abstract

Light can be understood only if we know the darkness. Similarly, the truths can be fully comprehended only if you know the falsehoods also. Many western philosophers, like Mark Twain, said “Majority is always in the wrong.” To understand Vedic science one must therefore know: (a) The role played by the money power. The destiny of the entire earth is controlled by the money power. Without money none of us can survive. So, everything we do, do not do, and cannot do is motivated by our desire and security of money. (b) Yogic power, which is the highest level power, even above the money power, if you can acquire it. It controls the global destiny of the entire universe. (c) Modern science, which is the product of the global destiny, as well as the money power or the destiny of the earth.Once you understand destiny, you will of course not blame anybody, including global, earth, or individual destiny. We will show with examples that all results of modern science are based on  or derived from assumptions. Since assumptions cannot be valid for nature and engineering,  modern  science therefore cannot represent the nature, and be applicable to nature and engineering. For the same reason results of modern science can never be demonstrated. It must be realized that there is a heaven   and hell difference between modern science and modern engineering. Since engineering uses science, all of engineering is full of patches and kludges, and therefore engineering is very unreliable, and pollutes environment. On the other hand the Vedic science is entirely based on observations, just like what Galileo observed. Vedic science does not therefore has any assumptions, and it is a record of what you see as happening in nature. The Vedic science also has another very crucial difference – it observed two types of causes: (a) efficient cause and (b) material cause, behind every phenomenon. As a result Vedic science is valid for the entire universe and for all time, past, present, and future. We will illustrate all results of Vedic science with observations in nature. Such examples will be beyond comprehension of modern science.

The Bugis people's belief in bissu has been written since ancient times and has even been documented in the Lontara I La Galigo. In general, Bissu is a man but looks like and dressed up like a woman or in the Bugis language; it is called Calabai. During the heyday of the kingdoms in South Sulawesi, a Bissu had a crucial position in traditional ritual activities and other sectors such as medicine, as a fortune teller, to determine good days and a royal advisor. They are believed as the bridge between humans and gods or ancestral spirits through their language called Torilangi. Along with the times, the existence of Bissu in South Sulawesi began to disappear because they were considered to be carrying out idolatrous activities. There is no more special attention given by the government to their survival. So that many Bissu has switched professions to survive, such as being a bridal make-up, working on rice fields and gardens as well as taking part in regional tourism activities through the Magiri attractions they display.
