Abstract

The growing demand for healthy and environmentally friendly food products has encouraged businesses to adopt green marketing strategies and provide greater customer value. This study aims to analyze the influence of green marketing and green customer value on purchase decisions and customer loyalty in healthy food product innovation. A quantitative method was employed using purposive sampling of 100 respondents who had purchased Green Rebel products in the Jabodetabek area. Data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to test the relationships among variables, including purchase attitude and purchase intention as mediators. The findings reveal that green marketing and green customer value significantly affect purchase decisions, both directly and indirectly through purchase attitude and purchase intention. However, their influence on customer loyalty was limited. These results indicate that although green marketing and customer value enhance consumer purchasing behavior, maintaining loyalty requires additional strategies such as product certification, stronger promotional activities, and highlighting sustainability and health benefits. This study contributes to the understanding of consumer behavior in healthy food innovation and provides managerial insights for companies seeking to strengthen competitiveness in the sustainable food industry.

Abstract

Birds provide various environmental benefits, including serving as tourist attractions in certain areas. Concerns over environmentally unfriendly tourist behaviors threaten bird communities, necessitating educational activities. Avitourism interpretation is an eco-friendly tourism approach that educates visitors on the importance of bird conservation in nature. This study aims to identify bird species and their distribution that have the potential to serve as interpretation objects for avitourism in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone. This study used the Mackinnon Species List method for bird data collection and literature review to determine potential objects for avitourism interpretation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive-quantitative analysis. Based on the findings, 37 bird species were identified as having potential for interpretation as objects. These include bird species with high conservation status, endemic birds, birds with unique morphological characteristics, migratory birds, birds associated with cultural significance, and birds with the highest encounter frequencies. 65% of bird species identified as interpretation objects are distributed along the Novotel Mangrove trail. Based on avitourist preferences, the recommended trail for interpretation is the Novotel Mangrove trail for all categories of avitourists, particularly beginners with a preference for birds with unique morphological features and high encounter frequencies. Meanwhile, for intermediate and advanced avitourist categories, the Gerupuk Mangrove, Songgong Mangrove, Merese Plantation, and Merese Hill trails are also recommended because they feature endemic bird species, species with high conservation status, and migratory birds that can only be found in those trails.

Abstract

The increasing need for food due to population growth demands the optimization of dry land through efficient irrigation strategies. One approach is the selection of alternative crops with low water requirements but high economic value. This study aims to assess the potential of the KK-09 water spinach variety as an alternative cropping pattern in optimizing dry land irrigation. The method used is a literature review based on the Scopus database with relevant keyword searches and topic mapping using the Vos viewer tool. A total of 70 articles related to irrigation optimization in dryland were identified. In addition, an analysis of water requirements was conducted based on plant growth phases (germination, vegetative, flowering, and ripening). The results show that KK-09 water spinach only requires ± 720 mm of water in one planting cycle (110 days), with an average discharge requirement of ± 0.069 liters/second/hectare. The economic water efficiency reaches IDR 68/mm and a profit of IDR 100,400/m³, making it superior to other secondary crops such as corn, sorghum, and mung beans. These findings indicate that the KK-09 variety has the potential to be a sustainable irrigation solution for areas with limited water availability.

Abstract

This study addresses the low levels of chemical literacy and student self-efficacy by implementing a context-based learning approach using the Prediction–Observation–Explanation (POE) strategy. The research aimed to assess the differences and effective contributions of chemical literacy and self-efficacy before and after the intervention, and to compare students taught with the POE-based approach versus those using a scientific approach. A quantitative method was used with a quasi-experimental design, including both dependent pre-test and post-test without a control group, and independent pre-test and post-test with a control group. The sample consisted of four randomly selected 11th-grade classes. Instruments included 10 chemical literacy pre-test items, 9 post-test items, and 23 self-efficacy questionnaire items focused on the Thermochemistry unit. Data were analyzed using Paired Sample T-tests and Independent Sample T-tests. Results showed a significant improvement in chemical literacy after implementing the POE strategy, confirming its effectiveness in enhancing conceptual understanding. However, student self-efficacy did not show a statistically significant change, although a slight positive trend was observed. The study concludes that while the POE strategy effectively enhances chemical literacy, it is insufficient for improving self-efficacy, suggesting the need for more sensitive measurement tools and additional strategies to support affective learning outcomes.
