Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan di MTs Muhammadiyah Kota Jambi terdapat sebuah permasalahan yaitu kurangnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Dikarenakan guru belum menerapkan model pembelajaran yang inovasi, dan guru belum pernah menggunakan model pembelajaran jurisprudential inquiry dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran jurisprudential inquiry terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif desain penelitian quasi experimental design dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Objek penelitian MTs Muhammadiyah Kota Jambi, populasi siswa kelas VIII dengan 32 siswa. Diperoleh data menggunakan soal tes, hasil analisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran jurisprudential inquiry memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan, dimana diperoleh sig.(2-tailed) 0,034>0,05 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran jurisprudential inquiry terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Maka, sebaiknya dalam proses pembelajaran pendidik menyampaikan materi pelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran jurisprudential inquiry, dilakukan agar kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran mengalami perubahan yang positif.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memahami internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila di Sanggar Belajar Sentul Malaysia. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif mendeskripsikan dan menginterpretasikan fenomena sosial atau memahami pengalaman dan pandangan subyek alamiah yang diteliti. Subyek penelitian ini adalah tiga pendidik di Sanggar Bimbingan Sentul Malaysia. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitiannya Malaysia merupakan salah satu tempat bagi para pekerja migran Indonesia, yang kehadirannya menjadikan mereka menetap di Malaysia menikah secara agama sehingga tidak memiliki dokumen yang lengkap yang berpengaruh terhadap Pendidikan anak-anak pekerja migran. Sanggar Belajar Sentul merupakan salah satu tempat anak pekerja migran memperoleh hak Pendidikan termasuk dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila tersebut meliputi nilai ketuhanan, kemanusiaan, persatuan, musyawarah, dan keadilan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, pembiasaan dan keteladanan di SB Sentul Malaysia.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine how incorporating civic values into multicultural education can promote tolerance and enhance social unity among students at SMPN 4 Ponorogo. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were gathered via in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analyses concerning civics educational practices and school policies that promote citizenship values. The results indicate that the integration of civic values is achieved through three key strategies: (1) the incorporation of citizenship values in teaching that highlights respect for diversity, equal communication, and conflict resolution; (2) the enhancement of an inclusive school environment via collaborative activities among diverse backgrounds that foster empathy and social consciousness; and (3) the establishment of positive social interactions that cultivate solidarity and enhance relationship networks among students. These approaches effectively cultivate accepting mindsets, collaborative abilities, and receptiveness to diversity as vital components of democratic citizenship. The incorporation of multicultural education and civic values greatly enhances the development of a harmonious, democratic, and socially united school atmosphere. The research suggests reinforcing dialogic learning initiatives, improving intercultural partnerships, and creating more structured school policies to guarantee the ongoing internalization of citizenship values.

Abstract

This research intends to examine the types of political education arising in the culture-driven governance of tourism villages in Ponorogo and to create a more democratic and educational participation framework for overseeing local cultural heritage. Utilizing a qualitative case study approach, information was gathered via detailed interviews, participant observation, and document analysis within tourism villages that oversee Reog cultural sites. The results indicate that tourism villages serve as platforms for political education that enhance citizens' deliberative abilities, legal and civic knowledge, critical understanding of power dynamics, and teamwork skills. Citizen participation exists on various levels, from symbolic to consultative engagement, with cultural organizations and youth groups acting as important links between residents and village officials. Nonetheless, unequal opportunities for participation and the prevalence of certain actors continue to limit the democratization of cultural governance. This research suggests a participatory model for democratic education that includes inclusive deliberative environments, programs for enhancing political skills, mechanisms for social accountability, and the incorporation of local cultural values as the basis for governance. In summary, tourism villages function not just as venues for cultural preservation but also as local democratic experiments that can improve political education when bolstered by transparent and inclusive governance frameworks.

Abstract

This study discusses the function of the Archipelagic Concept as an instrument for preventing conflicts arising from cultural differences in Indonesia. With its multicultural society, characterised by hundreds of ethnic groups and diverse regional languages, Indonesia faces significant challenges in maintaining national unity amid such diversity. Intercultural friction often arises due to differences in value systems, conflicting interests, and a lack of national awareness. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, utilising literature reviews from various relevant legal documents and literature. The findings show that the application of the principles of Wawasan Nusantara, which include national unity, mutual respect, and equitable welfare, can strengthen national cohesion and anticipate cross-cultural conflicts. Recognition of customary legal systems and the application of local values have been shown to increase the credibility of legal institutions while maintaining balance in community life. However, its implementation still faces obstacles such as limited public knowledge of this concept and the impact of globalisation. Therefore, strengthening efforts are needed through an education system that respects diversity and public policies that prioritise the principle of social justice

Abstract

The digital transformation in higher education demands innovation in learning evaluation systems to make them more interactive, transparent, and adaptive to the characteristics of the digital generation. This study aims to analyze the level of student satisfaction with the use of Wayground (formerly Quizizz) as a digital evaluation medium in the Pancasila Education course, which focuses on value-based and character-oriented learning. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach using a survey method, with a questionnaire administered to 136 first-semester students of the Business Administration Study Program at Politeknik Negeri Samarinda, selected through cluster sampling. Data were analyzed descriptively by calculating the mean scores and satisfaction index using a Likert scale of 1–5. The findings indicate that student satisfaction falls within the “satisfied” category, with an overall mean score of 3.87. The highest-rated indicator was visual appeal and interface design (mean 4.09), while the lowest was learning motivation (mean 3.66). These results suggest that Wayground is effective in enhancing the efficiency, objectivity, fairness, and accessibility of learning evaluations while reinforcing technology acceptance (Technology Acceptance Model) within value-based education contexts. The novelty of this research lies in the implementation of a digital gamification platform within an ideological course, an area that has been rarely explored in previous studies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth how students of the Pancasila and Civic Education Study Program (PPKn) at Nusa Cendana University understand and practice Pancasila values in religious and cultural life in the multicultural campus environment of East Nusa Tenggara. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews with ten students from diverse religious and ethnic backgrounds, and documentation of campus activities. Data analysis was conducted using domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, component analysis, and cultural theme analysis to reveal subjective dynamics. The results show that Civic Education students internalize Pancasila through daily interactions such as interfaith mutual assistance and participation in cultural activities, which strengthen tolerance and unity amid the challenges of identity polarization and intergroup friction. The main influencing factors include the contextual Civic Education curriculum and local traditions in NTT, although the dynamics of globalization still give rise to hate speech in the digital space. These findings affirm the function of Pancasila as an ethical foundation and practical guideline for diversity in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning planning by civics teachers, identify effective strategies in efforts to increase student participation through analysis of problem-based learning planning by civics teachers, and describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process. The study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive research type. Qualitative research is a type of research that produces data in the form of words rather than numbers. Qualitative research aims to understand phenomena experienced by research subjects in the field, such as behavior and perceptions holistically, in the form of descriptions using words and language. The results of the study show that Civic Education lecturers develop structured learning plans by compiling comprehensive Semester Learning Plans (RPS) using the PBL learning model, which is specific, contextual, and participatory (e.g., case discussions, interactive games). In this case, lecturers can also create a safe and critical thinking classroom environment [da2.1]. The PPKn lecturers' Problem-Based Learning-based learning plans have been implemented systematically and effectively in increasing student participation. The clarity of the RPS, the use of contextual learning strategies, and the creation of a safe classroom environment are the main factors supporting student involvement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the effectiveness of innovative learning strategies in improving student understanding and participation in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) Study Program. Innovative learning strategies are approaches that emphasize interaction, collaboration, and the use of technology. This research approach uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The subjects of this study were lecturers and students and an active learning model was used. Data collection in this study used observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data were processed and analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that project-based learning strategies, interactive discussions, and the use of digital technology in learning significantly improved conceptual understanding and active student participation in class activities

Abstract

This study aims abstract to examine the effect of implementing digital case study strategies on developing civic literacy among students of the Civic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Nusa Cendana University. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. A questionnaire was used as the instrument to measure students’ civic literacy levels. The validity test showed a significance value of 0.836 (>0.05), indicating that the instrument was valid. The reliability test obtained a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.947 (>0.60), showing the instrument’s kreliability. ANOVA results indicated a significance value of <0.01, revealing significant mean differences between variables. The simple linear regression test produced a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05), demonstrating a significant effect of digital case study strategy implementation on civic literacy. Therefore, the digital case study strategy effectively enhances students’ civic literacy.
