Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model assisted by the experimental method on understanding the concepts of students of class XI science. This research is a Quasi Experiment with the design of Non-Equivalent Control Design Groups. The sample selection uses Cluster Random Sampling. The research sample was the experimental class (XI IPA 1) which applied the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model assisted by the experimental method and the control class (XI IPA 2) which applied the conventional learning model. The data collection instruments used were test instruments for understanding concepts (pretest and posttest). Based on the results of the study calculated by the t-test from the results of the posttest understanding of the control class concept of 78.75 and the experimental class of 82.75 obtained tcount more than t table (2.148 more than 2.024) with a significance value (ɑ = 0.05). So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is the influence of the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model assisted by the experimental method of understanding concepts.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) berbantu metode eksperimen terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik kelas XI IPA.Penelitian ini merupakan Quasi Experiment dengan desain Non-Equivalent Control Grup Design.Pemilihan sampel menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel penelitian yakni kelas eksperimen (XI IPA 1) yang diterapkan model pembelajaran POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) berbantu metode eksperimen dan kelas kontrol (XI IPA 2) yang diterapkan  model pembelajarankonvensional. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu instrumen tes untuk pemahaman konsep (pretest dan postest). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dihitung dengan uji-tdari hasil posttest pemahaman konsep kelas kontrol sebesar 78,75 dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,75 memperoleh thitunglebih dari ttabel (2,148 lebih dari 2,024) dengan nilai signifikasi (ɑ = 0,05). Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) berbantu metode eksperimenterhadap pemahaman konsep.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the average understanding of the concepts of physics students are taught using learning strategies jigsaw with learners who are taught using instructional strategies goup to group exchange and see the difference in both learning strategies jigsaw and group to group exchange of average to seven aspects of the concept of a higher understanding. Class VIII SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2015-2016. This research is quasi-experimental research. This study uses two classes as a class experiment. The population in this study were students grade SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung with 67 students of two classes of grade VIII VIII G and J as a sample. Then the researchers gave the treatment of class VIII G as the experimental class 1 with the use of learning strategies jigsaw in learning, and VIII as the experimental class 2 learning strategy group to group exchange. Based on the results of the calculation of average chart between the jigsaw and group to group the most different exchange haasilnya on summarizing aspects. The sixth aspect being acquitted of the same because there is no difference in the difference in value is high. From the t test calculation can be concluded that the hypothesis is rejected and Ha = H0 = acceptable, it indicates that there is no difference between the conceptual understanding of physics jigsaw strategy and group to group exchange.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan rata-rata pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan strategi pembelajaran jigsaw dengan peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan strategi pembelajaran goup to group exchange dan melihat perbedaan kedua strategi pembelajaran jigsaw dan group to group exchange dari rata-rata ke tujuh aspek pemahaman konsep yang lebih tinggi. Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 24  Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015-2016. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian eksperimen semu. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung dengan 67 peserta didik dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VIII G dan VIII J sebagai sampelnya. Kemudian peneliti memberikan perlakuan terhadap kelas VIII G sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dengan penggunaan strategi pembelajaran jigsaw dalam belajar, dan kelas VIII sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 strategi pembelajaran group to group exchange. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan grafik rata-rata antara jigsaw dan group to group exchange yang paling berbeda hasilnya pada aspek merangkum. Sedang keenam aspek lainnya dinyatakan sama karena tidak ada perbedaan selisih nilai yang tinggi. Dari perhitungan uji t dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis  Ha = ditolak dan H0 = diterima, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep fisika antara strategi jigsaw dan group to group exchange

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop science books based on Jambi local wisdom and improve student learning motivation. This research was a research and development using ADDIE model. The subjects were material experts, media experts and class VIII students of SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi, totaling 30 students. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, questionnaire needs, material and media validation sheets and student motivation questionnaires. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively and quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. This study produced a science book based on Jambi local wisdom about the pressure and vibration and waves. Local wisdom was used as a context to explore scientific concepts. The results of the material expert validation obtained an average score of 4.5 with the category "very good" and the media expert was 4.65 with the category "very good". The results of field trials show that science books based on Jambi local wisdom can increase students' learning motivation with an average score of 4.1 (good category).Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku IPA berbasis kearifan lokal Jambi serta meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Subjek penelitian adalah ahli materi, ahli media serta siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini lembar observasi, angket kebutuhan  lembar validasi ahli materi dan media serta angket motivasi siswa. Data kualitatif dianalisis secaradeskriptif dan data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistic deskriptif. Penelitian ini mengahsilkan buku IPA berbasis kearifan lokal Jambi meteri tekanan zat, serta getaran dan gelombang. Kearifan  lokal dijadikan sebagai konteks untuk menggali konsep sains. Hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh skor rata-rata 4,5 dengan kategori “sangat baik” dan ahli media adalah 4,65 dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Hasil ujicoba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa buku IPA  berbasis kearifan local jambi dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dengan skor rata-rata 4,1 (kategori baik).

Abstract

Abstract: This study is aimed to comparative analysis of quantity of misconception, then student’s attitude scale after applying conceptual interactive learning with cmaptools media. This research used quasy experiment with Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest design and descriptive methods. The research sample was class X9 dan X10 semester 2 of Senior High Scool at Cimahi. Instruments that used were concept understanding test with CRI, observation form, student’s attitude scale form. Based on CRI analysis, the result were experiment class has more less misconception than control class. The result of student’s attitude scale was almost of all students agree that applying conceptual interactive learning with cmaptools media can motivate, gain concept understanding and can be applied for another concept in physicsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan kuantitas miskonsepsi, serta deskripsi skala sikap siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan quasy experiment dengan desain Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest dan metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis CRI diperoleh kuantitas miskonsepsi pada kelas eksperimen lebih kecil dibanding kelas kontrol. Hasil skala sikap siswa menyatakan hampir seluruh siswa setuju bahwa pembelajaran konseptual interaktif berbantuan cmaptools dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to; 1) the development of media physics-based sparkol videoscribe subject kinematic motion in college 2) Determine the feasibility of a medium of learning physics-based sparkol videoscribe subject of kinematics motionin college. This study is a R and D are adopting development of Borg and Gall. Subjects in this study were students and faculty at State Islamic University and the University of Muhammadiyah Metro Lampung with data collection instruments used in the form of a questionnaire given to media experts, subject matter experts, questionnaire responses of faculty and student questionnaire responses to determine the interest in learning media are developed. The type of data that is generated is qualitative data were analyzed with the guidelines the assessment criteria for determining the quality of the product. The results of this study are; 1) Generate product in the form of instructional media sparkol videoscribe physics-based motion kinematics subject in college; 2) know of quality product that has been developed is very feasible with a percentage of 86.70% based on the assessment of media experts and 84.26% by a subject matter expert in the category of very decent Response lecturer with the percentage was 93.60% in the category of very decent and student responses on physics-based learning media sparkol subject videoscribe kinematic motion with the percentage of 96.00% in college.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis sparkol videoscribe pokok bahasan kinematika gerak di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R and D yang mengadopsi pengembangan dari Borg and Gall. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Lampung dan Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro dengan instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket yang diberikan kepada validator ahli, dosen dan mahasiswa. Jenis data yang dihasilkan adalah data kualitatif yang dianalisis dengan pedoman kriteria penilaian untuk menentukan kualitas produk. Hasil penelitian ini adalah; Menghasilkan media pembelajaran dan mengetahui kualitas produk yang telah dikembangkan 86,70% penilaian ahli media kategori sangat layak, 84,26% ahli materi kategori sangat layak, 93,60% respon dosen kategori sangat layak dan 96,00% respon mahasiswa kateori sangat layak pada media pembelajaran fisika berbasis sparkol videoscribe pokok bahasan kinematika gerak di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract: In physics learning a learning is needed which in addition to increasing understanding of concepts can also improve students' self-efficacy, one by one using the PBL model with scaffolding. With scaffolding, educators can provide assistance in stages to students who experience difficulties in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of PBL-based physics learning and scaffolding on understanding concepts and self efficacy. This type of research is the Quasy experiment using a non equivalent control group design. The research was conducted at one of the high schools in Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The instrument used to measure understanding of the concept is a three-tier diagnostic test consisting of 10 questions, while the instrument for measuring self-efficacy is the observation sheet. From this study, the results showed that PBL-based physics learning with scaffolding was effective against the understanding of concepts and the self-efficacy of students. The value of the effect size obtained is 1.29 with a high category.Abstrak: Dalam pembelajaran fisika dibutuhkan suatu pembelajaran yang selain dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep juga dapat meningkatkan self efficacy peserta didik, salah satungan dengan menggunakan model PBL dengan scaffolding. Dengan scaffolding,  pendidik dapat memberikan bantuan secara bertahap kepada peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efek dari pembelajaran fisika berbasis PBL dengan scaffolding terhadap pemahaman konsep dan self efficacy. Jenis penelitian adalah Quasy experiment menggunakan desain non equivalent control group. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada salah satu SMA di Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep adalah three-tier test diagnostic yang terdiri atas 10 soal, sedangkan instrumen untuk mengukur self efficacy adalah lembar observasi.  Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa pembelajaran fisika berbasis PBL dengan scaffolding efektif terhadap pemahaman konsep serta self efficacy peserta didik. Nilai effect size yang diperoleh adalah 1,29 dengan kategori tinggi

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of learning SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, Society) to the science process skills student. To see student process skilss researcher using test and observations. This Study included a type of quasi Ekperimental research. This study uses experimental class and control class. Sampling technique used cluster samplin. To know the difference of mastery science process skills experimental class and control class do t-test by the formula Polled varians. Analysis results showing thitung = 11,1223 while ttabel = 1,9908 with a significant level 0,05% so thitung more than ttabel. H1 be accepted, there is influence of learning SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, Society) to the science process skills. It can be concluded that there is influence of learning SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, Society) to the science process skills.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh pembelajaran SETS  (Science, Environment, Technology,  Society) terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Untuk melihat penguasan keterampilan proses peserta didik peneliti mengunakan tes dan observasi. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan cluster sampling. Untuk mengetahui perbedaan penguasaan keterampilan proses sains  expekelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dilakukan uji-t dengan rumus Polled Varians. Hasil analisis menunjukan thitung = 11,1223 sedangkan ttabel = 1,9908 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05% sehingga thitung lebih dari ttabel. H1 diterima, terdapat pengaruh model Pembelajaran SETS (Science, Environment, Technology and Society) terhadap keterampilan proses sains. sehungga Dapat simpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran SETS dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is background because learners do not understand the concept of physics with daily events, there is no tool to support the teaching and learning process. The use of simple physics props is expected to improve the learning outcomes of learners and can understand the concept by connecting the daily events in human life in physics. This study aims to find out how to develop physics props and the feasibility of simple physics aids for learning of thermodynamics to learners' learning outcomes. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approach, while the type of this research is research and development. Data collection technique is using questionnaire. Data analysis techniques to test the feasibility of props using Likert scale. Based on the results of data analysis using the likert scale statistic test, SMA Negeri 1 Sidomulyo get the percentage of eligibility of 82.925% "Very Good" category, SMA Negeri 1 Candipuro get the feasibility percentage of 82.7% "Very Good" category and SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sidomulyo get percentage Eligibility of 83.3% "Very Good" category. The average result of the students' responses in the three schools earned a feasibility percentage of 84.2% of the "Excellent" category.Abstrak: Penelitian ini berlatarbelakang karena peserta didik kurang memahami konsep fisika dengan kejadian sehari-hari, tidak ada alat untuk menunjang proses belajar mengajar. Penggunaan alat peraga fisika sederhana diharapkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dan bisa memahami konsep dengan menghubungkan kejadian sehari-hari dalam kehidupan manusia dalam  mata pelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara mengembangkan alat peraga fisika dan kelayakan alat peraga fisika sederhana untuk pembelajaran termodinamika terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, adapun jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data untuk menguji kelayakan alat peraga menggunakan skala likert.. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan uji statistik skala likert, SMA Negeri 1 Sidomulyo mendapatkan persentase kelayakan sebesar 82,925% kategori “Sangat Baik”, SMA Negeri 1 Candipuro mendapatkan persentase kelayakan sebesar 82,7% kategori “Sangat Baik” dan SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sidomulyo mendapatkan persentase kelayakan sebesar 83,3% kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hasil rata-rata tanggapan peserta didik ditiga sekolah mendapatkan persentase kelayakan sebesar 84,2% kategori “Sangat Baik”

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out if there is influenceof using Brain Based Learningmodel towards students’ critical thinking skills of class XI SMAMuhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung.This study is quasy experimental research. The population in this study isclass XI SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung, sampling techniques using purposive sampling, where the class is a class experiment XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 is a class of control, this researcheffort fluid static. The instrument used to test students’ critical thinking skills isessay. Beside on the research and data management t-test analysis on a significant level = 0.05 obtained tarithmeticmore than ttable is3,81 more than 1,66mean H0 rejected. The results of data analysis showed that the Brain Based  Learning  model influenced the students’ critical thinking skillsof class XI SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar LampungAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Brain Based Learning terhadap keterampilanberpikir kritis siswa kelas XI SMAMuhammadiyah 2 Bandar lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Quasy experiment, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI SMAMuhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, dimana kelas XI IPA I merupakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 merupakan kelas kontrol, materi pada penelitianiniyaitufluidastatis. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk keterampilan berpikir kritis adalah tes uraian.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengelolaan data analisis uji-t pada taraf signifikan = 0,05 diperoleh thitunglebih dari ttabel  yaitu 3,81 lebih dari 1,66berarti H0 ditolak. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran Brain Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilanberpikir kritis siswakelas XI SMAMuhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract: This study aims to determine wether there is an influence of the learning model Novick assist LKPD on the cognitive abilities of students in class VIII of SMP IT Baitun Nur Central Lampung on motion and style material. The method used is a quantitative method in the form of quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. To determine the cognitive abilities of student and the control class, the Mann Whitney Test was conducted on the SPSS 23.0 program. The result of data analysis show sig values. (2-tailed) of 0.00 which means the value of sig. (2-tailed) less then 0.05, which means that the average posttest of the control class is not the same as the average posttest of the experimental class. Thus, it is accepted or there is a difference in the average score of the posttest cognitive abilities of students in the experimental class higher than the average posttest cognitive abilities of student in the control class. Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick berbantuan LKPD terhadap kemampuan kognitif peserta didik kelas VIII SMP IT Baitun Nur Punggur Lampung Tengah pada materi gerak dan gaya.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif berupa penelitian quasi experimental design dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan kognitif peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dilakukan uji Mann Whitney Test pada program SPSS 23.0. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed)sebesar 0,00 yang berarti nilai sig. (2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05 yang artinya rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol tidak sama dengan rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen. Sehingga,  diterima atau terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata posttest kemampuan kognitif peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari rata-rata posttest kemampuan kognitif peserta didik pada kelas kontrol.
