<![CDATA[TRANSFER OF ARTEMIA SP HATCHING TECHNOLOGY FOR FISH LARVA FEED IN KARYA MULYA 2 FISH CULTIVATION GROUP, PASIR LOR VILLAGE, BANYUMAS REGENCY. This community service aims to improve skills and knowledge about hatching Artemia sp as fish larvae feed through technology transfer to the Karya Mulya 2 fish cultivation group. The method used is “Participatory Rural Appraisal” which is to increase community participation and increase community involvement which is carried out through counseling, direct demonstrations and technical guidance. Technical guidance training activities include the preparation of tools in the form of aerators, aerator hoses, buckets and mixing spoons. Preparation of materials in the form of water, salt and cysts of Artemia sp. Followed by the practice of incubating Artemia sp and Harvesting Artemia sp. The results of this community service can improve the skills and knowledge of the Karya Mulya 2 fish farming group to apply simple Artemia sp hatching technology as feed to increase the growth of fish larvae.]]>

<![CDATA[IMPROVING SANTRI’S ENGLISH SKILLS IN THE POST-COVID-19 PERIOD THROUGH THE TOEFL TEACHING PROGRAM IN PESANTREN-BASED SMA. This Community Service (PKM) aims to improve English skills through the TOEFL teaching program for santri of PPTQ Al Asy'ariyyah Kalibeber, Wonosobo. The santri also received formal education at SMA Takhassus Alqur'an Wonosobo. One of the factors underlies this PKM is that these santri have never received TOEFL material. In addition, they also do not know what skills are tested on the TOEFL. The methods used in this PKM are (1) Preparation (by conducting a needs analysis through FGD with the English teachers), (2) Providing material (using lecture, presentation, question and answer methods, as well as practice questions and discussions), and ( 3) evaluating the success of PKM (by holding a TOEFL-Like Test). Based on the results of the PKM evaluation, the team concluded that this service activity reached the standard according to the specified target because it was able to provide participants with an understanding of the skills tested in the TOEFL-Like Test. In addition, the first experience of 27 santri in the TOEFL-Like Test with a mean score of 376.70 from those who initially did not have knowledge of the TOEFL was a pretty good achievement. The evaluation results also showed that of the three skills tested, the students had weaknesses in structure and written expression, and the best in reading skills, while listening skills were in expression of structural and writing skills as well as reading skills.]]>

<![CDATA[THE EFFECT OF MATEMATIKA GASING CONCEPTS APPLICATION IN IMPROVING THE ADDITION SKILL OF SDIT AULADI PLAJU TEACHERS. The teacher is the spearhead of the mathematics learning process at the elementary school level (SD). The SD curriculum applies a thematic system, where lower-level classes, grades 1, 2, and 3 are guided by a class teacher who is responsible for delivering material for all subjects. Includes math subjects. Problems arise when the teacher does not master the material, mathematical concepts. This is due to the background of most classroom teachers not from the field of mathematics. One of the approaches used to help increase teachers' knowledge is Gasing mathematics. In accordance with the level, the mathematical concept conveyed in the training is addition. The activity method is a general lecture and demonstration using simple props and items in the school environment. The evaluation results showed an increase in the participants' abilities by 55% compared to before. This means that the top method has succeeded in increasing the teacher's ability to complete additions more quickly and correctly.]]>

<![CDATA[STRENGTHENING THE EXAMPLE OF R.A. KARTINI TOWARDS STUDENTS BASED ON THE RESULTS OF THE DISSEMINATION OF GREAT WOMEN INSPIRATIONAL TALKS MATHLA'UL ANWAR. This community service activity aims to provide empowerment to Mathla'ul Anwar University students based on the results of the dissemination of the Mathla'ul Anwar Inspirational Talk activity for Great Women. This activity was held to coincide on April 21, 2021 with the target of students residing in the Mathla'ul Anwar University environment from various majors or study programs. The holding of the Mathla'ul Anwar Inspirational Talk event was a form of appreciation for the role and struggle of Raden Ajeng Kartini in advancing the nation, especially for women whose roles were still limited at that time. By raising the theme of strengthening R.A Kartini's exemplary attitude, it is hoped that R.A Kartini's exemplary attitudes and traits can be transmitted to Indonesian women, especially women in Mathla'ul Anwar University. Through his fighting spirit and attitude, the figure of R.A Kartini can be an inspiration and able to awaken the younger generation to join the spirit and become a creative person.]]>

<![CDATA[COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE IN PANGKALAN JATI VILLAGE REGARDING THE LEGAL IMPACT OF REFUSAL TO VACCINATION DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 36 of 2009 on Health, confirms that the government requires immunization and has an important role in maintaining public health, one of the efforts made by the provision of vaccines. In relation to this, people become afraid and even refuse to be vaccinated. As for some hoaxes that are spread is injections of vaccines in men must be in the penis, covid-19 vaccine can engineer genetics, die, exterminate the indigenous population, contain vero cells from african green monkeys and only Indonesia ordered the Covid-19 vaccine. This is the basis of the community's assistance, because of the many fake news (Hoaxes) that are spread massively. The news is spread through whatsapp group, facebook and various other applications. The method used in the implementation of worship in this society is a combination of community educationand dialogue. Community service activities are carried out starting from the stage of preparation, implementation and evaluation. The target of this service activity is the community of Pangkalan Jati Village, Depok City. Where a number of these communities began to be affected by hoaxes about the negatives of the Covid-19 vaccine. The survey in Pangkalan Jati Village Community Assistance on the Impact of Vaccination Rejection Law during the Covid 19 Pandemic showed that participants' understanding of the legal impact of vaccination rejection touched a perfect figure of 100%. As well as other surveys showed that the willingness of participants to follow vaccination was 92.3%. This survey aims to be an indicator of the success or understanding of each participant present on the day.]]>

<![CDATA[COUNSELING TO FOOD AND BEVERAGES MSMEs ABOUT PIRT LICENSING AND HALAL CERTIFICATION IN BALESARI VILLAGE, WINDUSARI, MAGELANG. This PKM aims to increase the understanding of food and beverages MSMEs in Balesari Village, Windusari, Magelang, regarding the importance of PIRT licensing and halal certification to increase the selling value of products and also consumer buying interest. The implementation of this PKM is done by the method of lectures, tutorials, and discussions. The results of this PKM program are (1) MSMEs understand the importance of PIRT licensing and halal certification, and are motivated to proceed with it, (2) MSMEs understand PIRT licensing procedures, and (3) MSMEs understand procedures for halal certification. Thus, consumer buying interest and consumer trust are expected to increase through the existence of a PIRT number and a halal label. Moreover, it is also expected to increase the product sales and the welfare of the community in Balesari Village, Windusari, Magelang.]]>

<![CDATA[EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY COVID-19 THROUGH STRENGTHENING MANAGEMENT ASPECTS AND MARKETING TECHNOLOGY FOR SMES. In Gorontalo Province the Covid 19 pandemic has been going on for approximately one year. One of the affected areas is North Gorontalo District, which is directly adjacent to the Provinces of Central Sulawesi and the Provinces of North Sulawesi. This area has a lot of potential unmanaged marine resources. One of them is the great potential of seaweed. In this region, the level of seaweed production reaches ± 28,866 tons / year. Of this amount, only about 20% is used by local processing industries as food processing materials, while 80% is sent to processing factories in Manado, Makassar and Surabaya. This happens because of two things: 1) the implementation of functions and elements of management has not been maximized, 2) there is no concept of developing centers and group coaching. Therefore, assistance from related parties, including universities in management technology transfer and standardization of product processing diversification for the development of SME centers is highly expected. In general, the purpose of this activity is to reduce the negative impact of the spread of covid 19, especially for the community of seaweed SMEs in Katialada village. The method used is technical guidance for the diversification of processed seaweed management and assistance in implementing functions and elements of management, industrialization and product standardization as well as the development of processed products to local and national markets. The results of this service are expected to increase economic added value for coastal community groups who are directly affected by Covid 19.]]>

<![CDATA[ESTABLISHING PARENTING EDUCATOR TO OVERCOME TANTRUM IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN. Tantrums or temper tantrums are a condition of the child's anger and emotions expression because the child's intentions and goals are difficult to convey. The cause of tantrums is closely related to family conditions. Early identification of abnormal tantrum behaviors and parenting interventions directed at helping parents deal with tantrums can prevent adverse long-term consequences. Methods: Parenting training and workshops to overcome tantrums to parents and teachers of kindergarten and play group in Gugus V, Kecamatan Kertosono. Result: parenting training and workshop was attended by 40 parents and teachers of kindergarten and play group in Gugus V, Kecamatan Kertosono. The level of participants' knowledge of tantrums are varied. Subjectively, 37.83% of participants stated that they understood tantrums and 62.16% stated that they did not understand about tantrums. After parenting training and workshops to overcome tantrums done, the results are increasing in knowledge about tantrum from 6.05 to 7.48. Conclusion: Parenting training and workshops to overcome tantrums in preschool children as a form of mental health education provide benefits of knowledge to teachers and parents of kindergarten and play group in Gugus V, Kecamatan Kertosono.]]>

<![CDATA[HAND SANITIZER FROM MANGO LEAVES AS AN EFFORT TO SUPPRESS THE SPREAD OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN THE JEBRES AND POLOKARTO REGIONS. Covid-19 is an international pandemic that still has many victims. The UNS Campus area is a vulnerable area because apart from being public, there are also many residents who live around the campus which can be a medium for spreading the virus. The implementation of the health protocol, one of which is washing hands with running water or using a hand sanitizer, is one of the preventive measures to prevent the spread of the virus. Synthetic hand sanitizers have a lot of impact, especially for people who are sensitive to chemicals such as alcohol or synthetic disinfectants. On the other hand, the use of hand sanitizers has an important position to suppress the spread of the virus because it has the power to deactivate proteins from the Covid-19 spike section. Therefore, a breakthrough is needed to make natural hand sanitizers that are cheaper and have long-term sustainability. One of the natural ingredients that have a high antibacterial content is mango leaves. Various studies have stated that the tannin content of mango leaves is around 1.0 mg/g capable of deactivating bacteria and viruses. Unfortunately, so far, mango leaves are not used much except as fertilizer and more is wasted as garbage. In addition, the long pandemic period has caused the community not to have large reserves of hand sanitizers for their daily needs. Therefore, in this community service, training on the manufacture of hand sanitizers was carried out in the area around the UNS campus to provide skills to the community in procuring hand sanitizers independently from the plants around them as well as providing stock of natural hand sanitizers for people who are sensitive to chemicals.]]>

<![CDATA[COOKIES FROM ORGANIC GROAT FLOUR TRAINING IN KWT BUMP PT. PENGAYOM TANI SEJAGAD. The rice milling process in addition to producing rice as the main product also other by-products in the form of broken rice or groats, rice bran or husks, and bran or bran. These by-products have not been utilized optimally by the BUMP Pengayom Tani Sejagad which is located in Kebonagung, Sidoharjo District, Wonogiri Regency. This problem is one of the challenges as well as opportunities for training related to groat processing in order to increase the added value of by-products from rice milling. This community service activity aims to provide education and skills to farmers in the Pengayom Tani Sejagad Farmer-Owned Enterprise (BUMP) in processing groats so that they have a higher selling value. The implementation method is the preparation of material handbooks, socialization of processing and innovation of processed food from groats, workshops for processing groats, packaging training, marketing of products from processing groats, and monitoring and evaluation. The service activities carried out can improve the knowledge and skills of target partners in processing, packaging and marketing groat cookies.]]>
