Abstract

This research is based on learning in the material of ethnic and cultural diversity in Indonesia which is less interesting for students, because it is too broad discussion, also limitation of innovation in its delivery. This problem occurs in class V SDN 1 Budur Ciwaringin Sub-district of Cirebon Regency, at the time of initial data collection there is only 1 student whose value exceeds or equal to KKM, and there are 30 students whose value is less than KKM. The purpose of this study is obtaining an overview of the increasing student learning outcomes in social studies materials ethnic and cultural diversity in Indonesia through the application of learning models of Quantum Teaching based on the theory Trikon. This research uses Classroom Action Research method which is implemented in three cycles. Based on the data obtained showed that the learning outcomes of students after learning model of Quantum Teaching based on the theory Trikon continues to increase, with an average increase of 30.44%. Of the three cycles.

Abstract

In the preliminary data at fourth grade in SDN Cisalak IV, students were having problems in completing incomplete story. It was because they used the learning methods that do not involve students in learning. Therefore, applied a methods of Pisang Batita to improve writing skills for incomplete story and aims to improve the planning and the implementation of the teachers performance,  students activity, and outcome of students learning. Research used is classroom action research model by Kemmis and Taggart. The research results with using Pisang Batita methods have increasing for every cycle. In teachers performance in cycle III increased come to 100%. For students activity in cycle I 36,83%, cycle II 78,95%, and cycle III 95,24%. And for a completed learning outcome in cycle I 52,63%, cycle II 78,95%, and cycle III 90,48%. It can be concluding that Pisang Batita methods for the real application can increasing outcome of students learning in complete incompleting story.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan data yang didapatkan bahwa alokasi waktu yang relatif lama untuk matapelajaran matematika tidak berbandinglurus dengan prestasi yang diraih, pengajar matematika kurang berinovasi, menakutan, membosankan, dan hal lainnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, diteliti pendekatan PBL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemaham dan komunikasi matematis siswa pada materi skala dan perbandingan. Metode eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol tidak ekuivalen (the nonequivalent control group design) digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Dua SD yang menjadi sampel penelitian yaitu SDN 1 Ganeas (kelas eksperimen) dan SDN Cikoneng (kelas kontrol). Dengan menggunakan instrumen soal tes, format observasi guru siswa, dan angket. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap data yang diperoleh, didapat hasil bahwa pendekatan PBL berkontribusi terhadap kemampuan pemahaman sebesar 17,64% dan kemampuan komunikasi sebesar 8,09%. Pendekatan konvensional berkontribusi sebesar 20,20%terhadap kemampuan pemahaman dan kemampuan komunikasi sebesar 29,60%.Pendekatan PBL lebih baik secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan yang diteliti, dan terdapat hubungan positif antara kedua kemampuan tersebut.Kata Kunci : Pendekatan problem-based learning (PBL), pemahaman dan koneksi matematis.

Abstract

Ability of Representation is the process of applying ideas that are poured in symbols to show an understanding of mathematical concepts. The ability of elementary school representation is still low. The investigative approach of quantum strategy allows students to be actively involved because students construct and rediscover the reflected concept. The investigative approach of quantum strategy has a good effect on the ability of mathematical representation of class V students on flat matter. This is evidenced by the study using quasi-experimental methods with pretest-postets control group design that indicates that a quantum-strategy investigative approach improves students' mathematical representation skills including superior student groups, medium, and the lower group. Based on the result of this research, investigative approach of quantum strategy can be used as a solution to improve the mathematical representation ability of elementary school students.

Abstract

Background of this research is because score the students is not satisfying. In the proces of learning, the teacher is not involve the students on active proces of learning. Based on this condition, Learning Cycle model of learning is applied to be resolve this problem. This is because in Learning Cycle model of learning is centered in the student and make learning to be means. Form this reseach is classroom action research which is done in 3 cycles. Obtaine data in plan a cycle I reach 83,3%, cycle II 93,3%, cycle III 100% so reach the target. In the implementation cycle I reach 85%, cycle II 95%, and cycle III 100% so reach the target. Student activity in cycle I 41%, cycle II 77%, cycle III 100%. The result student completeness of preliminary data from 22 students just 31%, cycle I 40,9%, cycle II 72%, cycle III 91%. Therefor can concluded that implementation model of Learning Cycle can improve students learning outcome.

Abstract

After the observation on 5th grader SDN Darangdan Kecamatan Sumedang Selatan Kabupaten Sumedang, researchers found a problem in student learning outcomes in subjects Social Science material Diversity Tribe Nations and Culture in Indonesia. The low learning outcomes of students are influenced by less optimal performance of teachers and student activities. Therefore it is necessary to solve the problem through the application of model jigsaw by magic circle. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). Target achievement of learning outcomes is 93.33% of the total number of students as many as 30 people with KKM 75. After the implementation of this study the percentage of student learning outcomes exceeded the set target that is, 96.67%. So it can be concluded that the model jigsaw by magic circle can improve student learning outcomes on the material Ethnic and Cultural Diversity in Indonesia.

Abstract

Research in class V SDN Sukahati background on the lack of understanding of students on the material, and the implementation of less learning to arouse students' interest to learn. Efforts to fix the problem by applying the Discovery learning model. The problem is corrected through Classroom Action Research (PTK) with research design model Kemmis and Taggart. Instruments used include teacher performance observation sheets, student activities, student learning outcomes, interview guides, and field notes. This study was completed in three cycles. The data obtained in the planning cycle 84%, 92.2% cycle II, and 100% cycle III. At the implementation of 83% cycle I, 90.5% cycle II, and 100% cycle III. Furthermore student activity in cycle I 62,14%, cycle II 86,9%, and at cycle III 90,2%. Then the result of study from 34 students, on cycle I as many as 17 students (50%) complete, cycle II 28 students (82,4%), and cycle III 31 student (91,2%). Thus, the Discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the increase in mathematical problem solving ability of students with mathematics learning using the Problem-Based Learning with TAPPS strategy on 5th grader comparative material. This research method using a quasi-experimental method by nonequivalent control group design. Samples were selected in the study were students of SDN Sukaraja II 5th grader. There are various instruments used in the study, such as tests the ability of mathematical problem solving, observation formats, and the format of student questionnaire responses. Research results with a significance level (α) = 0.05 indicates that learning using the Problem-Based Learning with TAPPS strategy and conventional learning can enhance students' mathematical problem solving ability. Problem-Based Learning with TAPPS strategy significantly better than conventional learning in improving mathematical problem solving ability. Students' response to mathematics learning using Problem-Based Learning with TAPPS strategies that have been implemented relatively positive.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student’s ability in concluding the contents of the story. Based on the result of research that has been done in class V A SDN Cirayun show that student still have difficulty in summing up the story content. These problems occur because the management of the class is not optimal, and the use of learning methods that are less varied. The overcome these problems, the researcher determines the action by applying the Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review (SQ3R) method with the rainbow post game. In cycle I, the result of teacher performance planning reached 83,3%, 90,4% cycle II, and third cycle 97,6%. Meanwhile, student activity in cycle I reached 12%, 72% of cycle II, and 88% of cycle III. While the result of student learning which got the complete category continue to exprecience good improvement, initially in cycle I only 5 students (36%), cycle II 18 students (72%), and in cycle III increased to 23 students (92%). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of SQ3R method with rainbow post game can improve the ability of grade V A students of SDN Cirayun in concluding the story content of children who read.

Abstract

Vocal learning implementation should create learning process actively, creatively utilizing existing learning resources. Supported competencies teachers who are esperts in their field to study vocal. The condition of the school shows have used method to increaselearning solfegio vocals. Therefore the research needs to be done to get to know the process of learning the vocals. Objective to describe the process of use of methods of learning to solfegio vocals. A descriptive qualitative research methods with steps planning, implementation, observation, data processing and reflection, with the subject of research grade Va SDN Lebakwangi 01 Nagreg, and implementation timein half the space of 2016/2017. Data collection by observation, interviews, field notes and documentation. From the results of the use of research methods can improvevoal skills solfegio students. Recomemendation from the results of this study is throught use of vocal learning in solfegio method can be applied the primary to grade V.
