Abstract

Food safety issues have become a global concern because hundreds of millions of people suffer from diseases due to contaminated food. Food poisoning cases in Indonesia continue to increase from year to year. In 2013, the POM reported that there were 48 outbreaks (KLB) of food poisoning from 34 provinces in Indonesia. In Tanjung Morawa Subdistrict, especially Mardisan Village, there are many food vendors, ranging from food for breakfast, various snacks during the day to night. In this area there are also many flower sellers, so the village is always busy with flower buyers. In addition to buying flowers, they generally also need food and drinks so that food vendors in this area are also growing. However, very often these food traders do not pay attention to food safety requirements because they are tempted by the maximum profit. For this reason, dedication is carried out to increase the knowledge and skills of traders in processing healthy and natural foods without using additives that are harmful to health. Training was carried out on increasing partners' knowledge in the use of additives permitted by the Minister of Health as an effort to reduce the use of additives that are harmful to health. The training was carried out by using the lecture method, discussion by giving lieaflead to food sellers. The food vendors are very enthusiastic about participating in the training with many questions from the participants about allowed and not allowed food substances. The traders promised to implement natural and healthy food processing methods without using additives that are harmful to health. The head of the food merchant group will monitor the food safety in this area so that natural and healthy food is still sold in Mardisan.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has resulted in significant changes to the loan process, whichhas certainly made it easier for people who need to take loans so that they no longer need to go to banks or other financial service institutions. However, online loans can also cause problems if they are not well understood. In order to understand Peer to Peer Lending (onlineloans) in Indonesia,we need to refer to Financial Services Authority Regulation No.11/POJK.In this regulation, peer to peer lending (online loans) is defined as an act of providinglending and borrowing services directly between lenders and information technology-based loan recipients. As of August 14th, 2020, there are 157 fintech companies already registered and licensed in the Financial Services Authority (OJK). OJK urges the public to use registered and licensed fintech lending services. To increase public awareness and knowledge in peer to peer lending (online loans), we conducted a socialization in the form of counseling to peoplein Sunggal Village, Medan Sunggal. The method used in this socialization is a focus discussion, starting with a lecture session then continued with a Q&A session among participants. The lecture session was conducted in order to deliver important learning materials for the participant to know and understand. Meanwhile, the Q&A session was conducted in order to complete unclear material and help to solve the problems related to Online Peer to Peer Lending. After participating in this socialization, the public can identify trusted online loan providers, which are providers registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This means people can be spared from untrusted online loan providers and can report them to OJK when they found unregistered providers with bad intentions.

Abstract

Goat fattening business is a line of business that has good prospects in the future. The need for goat meat that continues to increase from year to year is not matched by the growth of good livestock centers. Naga Jaya I Village is one of many villages where many people develop goat farming businesses. Some of the reasons people develop this business are the seed capital which is not too expensive compared to cattle or buffalo and the relatively short cycle of breeding (n < 1 year). In the midst of a fairly good business prospect, service partners in this activity still have classic obstacles in business development. The problems faced are capital, availability of technology for animal feed processing, small business management and management of the cage environment. Based on the problems faced by service partners, this activity is planned to be carried out with the aim of overcoming technological and management obstacles. The service team will provide solutions to these two problems by providing grass chopper/animal feed machines and increasing partner knowledge about the management of the enclosure environment through outreach activities. At the end of the activity, it is hoped that the productivity of partners will increase which is reflected in changes in feeding methods and environmental management behavior.
