Abstract

Islamic education has a significant role in shaping the character and morality of future generations. In facing the challenges of globalization, integration between quality management and Islamic values becomes relevant to ensure holistic educational quality. This research aims to reveal the concept of integration between quality management and Islamic values in education, with a focus on MIS GUPPI 13 Tasik Malaya Village, Rejang Lebong. This research uses a qualitative approach. Research informants consisted of teaching staff, students and parents at MIS GUPPI 13. Data collection techniques included participant observation, in-depth interviews and document analysis. Data were analyzed inductively to identify patterns of findings. The research results show that the integration of quality management and Islamic values at MIS GUPPI 13 Tasik Malaya Village, Rejang Lebong, creates a holistic educational environment. The curriculum, which is prepared by taking into account Islamic values as a philosophical basis, has succeeded in producing graduates who are not only academically competent but also have noble character. This integration has a positive impact on the formation of student character and positive contributions to the surrounding community

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze student management through osim in shaping the disciplined character of female students which was carried out at Madrasah Diniyah Darul Lughah Wal Karomah Kraksaan Probolinggo, East Java. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This method is a type of research that describes aspects that form the context of the research. Monitor and present the actual situation that occurs in the field regarding student management at Madrasah Diniyah. The data analysis process is carried out by collecting data and simplifying it according to needs so that it becomes important points in the research, then the researcher analyzes the data by discarding data that is not needed. This research obtained data directly from the research subjects, namely the head of Madrasah Diniyah, head of Madin student affairs, and head of Osim. In the form of interview results, seeing the situation directly (observation), and documentation. The results of the research show that student management through osim is very effective in shaping the disciplined character of Madrasah Diniyah Darullughah Wal Karomah students. By carrying out routine planning, implementation and evaluation.

Abstract

The Darel Azhar Rangkasbitung Islamic Boarding School as an Islamic educational institution has a central role in shaping the character and knowledge of the students. This research aims to analyze the development of the educational supervision model implemented at the Darel Azhar Rangkasbitung Islamic Boarding School. Using qualitative research methods and a descriptive study approach, this research describes the supervision model being implemented, evaluates the effectiveness of the model, and identifies challenges and development strategies being implemented. The research results show that the Darel Azhar Rangkasbitung Islamic Boarding School implements a supervision model that focuses on aspects of Islamic education, character and science. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the supervision model identified advantages in improving the quality of education, but also highlighted several weaknesses that need attention. Challenges in developing supervision models involve limited resources and contextual factors. However, this Islamic boarding school has implemented various strategies to increase the effectiveness of its supervision model with the Direct and Continue supervision model.. The implications of the results of this research provide contributions for managers and practitioners in Islamic boarding schools as well as parties interested in developing Islamic education supervision models

Abstract

This research wants to explain how Chromebook learning management improves student learning achievement at Ma'arif Kraksaan Middle School. The aim of this research is to provide information regarding planning, implementation and evaluation of learning to improve student learning achievement using Chromebook media. The theory used in this data analysis is the Huberman & Miles theory which uses the method of drawing conclusions and presenting data. Qualitative methods were used in this research. The informants for this research consisted of school principals and teachers who were teaching staff at Ma'arif Kraksaan Middle School. The data collection method uses interviews, observation and document analysis to obtain valid data about Chromebook learning management to improve student achievement at Ma'arif Kraksaan Middle School. The results obtained are that students' level of understanding continues to increase regarding Chromebook devices as a learning medium at Ma'arif Kraksaan Middle School. From this level of understanding, it can improve student learning achievement in class.

Abstract

This paper discusses the concept of instructional school leadership introduced by the government to schools in Indonesia as part of a larger educational reform since 2019. Although the spirit of employing a type of instructional leadership has been quite strong from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (MOECRT), a solid and thoughtful concept is hardly found. Therefore, this paper uses a training material that was incorporated in the Guru Penggerak training which includes a slide for instructional leadership. We analyse this material in the light of the evolving theories of instructional leadership in the literature, contextual demands and changes occurring surrounding schools. We found that Rutherford’s concept of instructional leadership used in the ‘Guru Penggerak’ training does not seem to be in line with the literature since it is too broadly conceptualised and does not at all touch the very core business of classroom and instruction

Abstract

Improving the quality of Islamic boarding schools can be illustrated through the effectiveness and cost efficiency of the existing education process. Meanwhile, determining education costs which include operational and investment costs is seen as less effective and efficient, even though these two costs are a guarantee of the quality of education. However, a number of Islamic boarding schools appear to have key factors in determining operational and investment costs within an effective and efficient framework. The aim of this research is to describe the key factors that are effective and efficient in determining operational and investment costs in Islamic boarding schools. The research was carried out at the Al-mukhlishin Islamic boarding school in Ciseeng, Bogor. The research took subjects namely financing managers, educators, school leaders and deputy leaders. A qualitative approach is the choice for data collection techniques, including observational studies, interviews and document studies. There are data analysis steps which are divided into 3, namely: reduction, presentation of findings and verification in the form of conclusions. The research results confirm that operational and investment costs have key factors that must be considered in determining them, namely changes in the student population and increasing educational standards. The implication of the results for education financing managers is that they can consider key factors to be actualized when trying to provide quality education in Islamic boarding schools

Abstract

Management of Educational Facilities and Infrastructure in Improving the Quality of Student Learning at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Lughah Wal Karomah". Many factors greatly influence the success of educational programs through the teaching process, one of which is the availability of adequate educational facilities and infrastructure as well as their optimal use and management. This research aims to find out the following things: management of facilities and infrastructure, obstacles to management of facilities and infrastructure, evaluation of management of facilities and infrastructure. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and data collection. The results of the research show the following: (1) Management of facilities and infrastructure begins with meetings held by all components of the madrasah, namely the head of the Madrasah, teachers and staff to obtain priority procurement of facilities and infrastructure and adjust them to existing funds. Then it will be recorded in the inventory book for a period of one year. (2) An obstacle to the management of infrastructure is where classrooms used for learning are also used for other activities. Students need to be aware of the use of infrastructure in the classroom so that it is not quickly lost or damaged. (3) evaluation of the management of infrastructure facilities which is carried out every year, every change made will have a positive impact so that the maintenance of the facilities can be maintained.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the transformational leadership of Islamic boarding schools as role models in contemporary Islamic educational institutions dan and knowing the characteristics of Islamic boarding school transformational leadership. This research method is library research. Library research is research in which the data or materials needed to complete research come from the library in books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, journals, magazines and so on. The results of this study indicate that the transformational leadership model of pesantren as a role model for contemporary Islamic educational institutions must have four dimensions: charismatic leadership, a leader who can make his followers admire, respect, and trust him. Inspirational motivation leadership, leaders who can articulate clear expectations from all members. Intellectual stimulation leadership is a leader who can develop new ideas from his subordinates. And individualized consideration leadership is a leader who always listens to the aspirations and inputs of others. This research provides practical implications and policy recommendations for Islamic boarding schools and other Islamic educational institutions that wish to adopt transformational leadership strategies. With a better understanding of the role of transformational leadership in Islamic boarding schools, it is hoped that Islamic boarding schools can continue to develop as models of contemporary Islamic education that are relevant and competitive in today's digital era
