Abstract

This study aims to develop digital flashcard learning media to enhance vocabulary understanding and mastery among second-grade students at SD Negeri Kertonatan 01. The development model used is ADDIE, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The media was designed using Canva and converted to the Heyzine.com website with added vocabulary audio. Validation was carried out by media and material experts to assess the feasibility of the media, followed by trials involving teachers and seven students. The research findings indicate that the digital flashcards are feasible and reasonably effective for learning. Media expert validation resulted in a score of 74.6%, while material expert validation reached 78%, both categorized as "Feasible." Trial results with teachers and students yielded 90% and 85.3%, respectively, categorized as "Highly Feasible." The effectiveness test demonstrated an improvement in students' understanding, with an average N-Gain score of 0.68 and an effectiveness percentage of 68%, categorized as "Moderately Effective." Thus, these digital flashcards can assist students in better understanding and mastering vocabulary. The use of this media offers an interactive and innovative learning experience, making it a viable alternative for vocabulary learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the character month program as a form of school innovation in shaping the character of students, as well as to examine in depth the obstacles that arise in the implementation of character month at the School. The research method used is qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques in this study were designed with participatory observation and structured interviews. The object of this research specifically focuses on aspects related to the character month program, including strategies, impact on students, and reviewing the extent of involvement of all parties in charge of running the character month program. The research subjects are the head of Muhammadiyah Elementary School Kottabarat Special Program, teachers, students, and parents and the research system includes primary and secondary data. The collected data will later be analyzed using the Miles & Huberman analysis technique. The results of this study are 1) the implementation of character month is implemented through learning and extracurricular activities to instill and create students with ulul albab character, not only intelligent but also have an Islamic personality; 2) There are several obstacles that occur during the implementation of character month that need to be evaluated more deeply, such as the lack of understanding and commitment of school parties, time constraints, unstructured evaluation, and rapid policy changes that disrupt the continuity of character month. Abstract

In the world of education, science learning is less effective if it is only done by rote memorization or passively listening to the teacher explain. In science learning activities, there must be a scientific process, producing scientific products by carrying out trials/experiments and forming students' scientific attitudes. The purpose of this research and development is to create Flashcard media by utilizing peer teaching strategies on material on the influence of heat on temperature and shape of objects, which is included in the valid category, which is approved by material experts, media experts, and teachers as users, and is practical and effective when used with science learning. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The research was carried out in trials at SDN 2 Plosokerep and testing at SDN 1 Kepanjenlor with subjects as fourth grade students. Data was obtained based on the results of observations, interviews, questionnaires and test evaluations. The Flashcard media validity test obtained an average score of 94.1% in the very valid category. The practicality test got an average of 89.1% in the very practical category and the effectiveness test with an average of 81% in the effective category. With the conclusion that this research and development can produce Flashcard media that meets the categories of validity, practicality and effectiveness tests.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of a deep learning approach by IPAS subjects at SD Negeri Sumbertaman 2. It uses a qualitative method with a case study approach involving participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results show the school’s success in adapting the three main aspects of deep learning according to the local context. The meaningful learning approach is realized through learning that is linked to real problems in the students’ environment, while mindful learning is implemented with structured metacognitive strategies. In addition, joyful learning is implemented by integrating local cultural elements into learning. To overcome the limitations of digital infrastructure, the school develops a hybrid learning model and improves teachers’ capacity through continuous professional development programs. This implementation positively impacts students’ critical thinking skills, strengthening character and social skills according to the “6C” concept and increasing learning motivation. This learning model exemplifies how schools in urban border areas can make meaningful educational transformations by integrating cognitive, social-emotional, and cultural aspects in IPAS learning.

Abstract

Early abilities in recognizing numbers and understanding vocabulary serve as a fundamental foundation in developing literacy and numeracy skills among first-grade elementary students. Unfortunately, the conventional subject-separated approach to learning often leads to a lack of student interest and difficulty in grasping concepts holistically. This study aims to explore the use of the Webbed-type integrated learning model based on educational games as a fun and developmentally appropriate method to improve students' understanding of numbers 1–10 and vocabulary mastery. Learning activities were conducted using media such as number snakes and ladders, number hopping, and number cards, under the theme “Let’s Play While Learning Numbers.” The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests. The study involved 32 first-grade students of SDN Klampok II, Tongas District, Probolinggo Regency. The results showed an increase in learning interest, active participation, and comprehensive understanding of numbers and vocabulary. These findings support the application of the Webbed model based on educational games as an effective and enjoyable alternative approach for early-grade elementary education.

Abstract

This study has the urgency to examine how the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SDN Madugondo serves as a strategic effort to shape students’ character in line with the direction of the Merdeka Curriculum policy. The research employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through observation, semi-structured in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques. The researcher acted as the key instrument in observation, while informants were purposively selected, consisting of the Principal, Homeroom Teachers, Project Coordinator Teacher, and four students from grades 1, 3, and 4. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman’s model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that during the planning stage, teachers prepared project dimensions and themes relevant to sustainable lifestyles; in the implementation stage, coordination was carried out with the principal and other teachers, dissemination was provided to parents and students, and evaluation instruments were developed; whereas in the evaluation stage, teachers observed the learning process, used assessment rubrics, and evaluated the achievement of the Pancasila Student Profile dimensions. The practical implementation of this study demonstrates that P5 is not merely a formal program, but can also be sustainably integrated into the school culture through collaboration among teachers, parents, and students. Scientifically, the results of this study enrich the discourse on implementation strategies of the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly at the elementary school level. Abstract

The research entitled “School Literacy Movement at the Habituation Stage in Elementary Schools” highlights the urgency of fostering early reading habits as a foundation to improve students’ literacy skills in elementary education. This study aims to examine the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (SLM) at the habituation stage in an elementary school (SD X) located in the city. The research design employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects consist of the principal, classroom teachers, and students, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used Miles & Huberman’s model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the implementation of the SLM at the habituation stage in SD X has been carried out through several main activities, including 15 minutes of reading before lessons begin, the provision of reading corners in each classroom, the use of school bulletin boards, library optimization, community involvement such as parents and local residents, as well as the creation of a text-rich environment around the school. These activities aim to cultivate students’ reading habits, enhance their learning motivation, and develop their skills in comprehending and utilizing various types of reading materials. Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of teaching tembang macapat singing in elementary school as a strategy for cultural preservation and strengthening regional language competence. Using a participatory qualitative approach, the research was conducted at UPT SD Negeri 195 Gresik during the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Subjects were selected purposively, involving regional language teachers and fifth-grade students. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews (July 26, 2025), and photo documentation. The findings indicate that actively singing tembang macapat improves students' mastery of chromo alus and chromo inggil vocabulary while instilling character values such as simplicity, responsibility, and cultural pride. Teachers contextualized song meanings to make them more relatable. Some students sang the songs at home and taught them to siblings, indicating cultural transfer beyond school. Despite limited learning media, teachers applied contextual strategies. Overall, this learning approach proved effective, enjoyable, and meaningful for elementary students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Jaka Mulya Bekasi. Sampel berukuran 30 siswa. Sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI yang berasal  dari SDN Jaka Mulya Bekasi untuk kelas Kontrol dan kelas Eksperimen dan 2 kelas SDN Jaka Mulya Bekasi  untuk kelas Kontrol dan kelas Eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 01 Oktober sampai dengan 30 Desember 2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1). Ada pengaruh yang signifikan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar pelajaran ekonomi. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig.=0,014<0,005 dan Fhitung=6,549. 2). Ada pengaruh yang signifikan kreativitas belajar terhadap hasil belajar pelajaran ekonomi, dibuktikan dengan nilai Sig.=0,001<0,05 dan Fhitung=13,477. 3). Ada pengaruh yang  signifikan media pembelajaran dan kreativitas belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar pelajaran ekonomi, ini terbukti melalui nilai Sig.= 0,001< 0,05 dan Fhitung = 9,640.Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Kreativitas Belajar, Hasil Belajar IPSAbstractThis research was conducted in SDN Jaka Mulya Bekasi. A sample size of 30 students. As a sample of this research is a class VIII student from your school SMP PGRI 12 for grade control and experiment class and 2nd grade SDN Jaka Mulya Bekasi for classes and class Control Experiment. This study was conducted on October 1 until December 30, 2016. The results showed: 1). There was a significant effect on learning outcomes learning media economics class. This is evidenced by the Sig. = 0.014 <0.005 and F test = 6.549. 2). There was a significant influence on the results of learning creativity studying economics class, evidenced by the Sig. = 0.001 <0.05 and Fhitung = 13.477. 3). There was a significant effect of instructional media and creativity of student learning to the learning outcomes of economic subjects, is evident through the Sig. = 0.001 <0.05 and Fhitung = 9.640.Keywords: Instructional Media, Creativity Learning, Learning Outcomes IPS

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektifitas pemakaian metode Snowball throwing dan pengaruh Metode Snowball throwing pada Hasil belajar Matematika . Penelitian ini memakai rancangan eksperimen yang dilakukan pada satu kelompok saja tanpa kelompok pembanding (The One Group Pratest Posttest). Subyek penelitian Siswa SD ,dengan sampel data sebanyak 20 siswa. Data diolah dengan SPSS 22.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada, Uji  Normalitas ,Homogenitas dan T Sampel Berpasangan dengan tingkat signifikan α =5%, Hasil uji normalitas didapat nilai Kolmogorof-Smirnov i Sig.0.200,dan Shapiro-Wilk 0.204 sehingga pada α = 5%= 0.05 < Sig.= 0,sampel data berasal dari distribusi normal. Pada Uji Homogenitas Varians Levene Nilai Sig. 0.379, pada tingkat signifikansi α = 5 % =0.05 < Sig.0.379, sehingga dapat dikatakan sampel data berasal dari varians yang Homogen, Pada Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0.023 < 0.050,Sesuai dengan uji T sampel maka Ho ditolah,Ha diterima,maka dapat disimpulkan Metode Snowball throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika.   Kata kunci: Metode Pembelajaran Snowball Throwing, Hasil Belajar Matematika
