Abstract

The background of doing this research is motivated by the statement that in the 2013 curriculum extracurriculars that are required for students to follow are scouting extracurricular scouts are important so that scout coaches must have good competence so that students can develop their potential. The purpose of this study is that researchers can find out how the Basic Advanced Course (KMD) training for Scout Leaders Kwartir Branch of West Bandung Regency in improving competence through adult education methods. The theories used are training theory, adult education, KMD theory, and scouting and competency theory.The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a sample of two committee members and eight participants. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation. The results of the research on Basic Advanced Course Training (KMD) for Scoutmasters Kwartir West Bandung Regency in increasing competence through adult education methods that the training went well according to plan and the trainees received benefits that could be applied when they went to school. In addition, the competence of the participants or scout coaches becomes more developed and can foster students in developing their potential when participating in extracurricular activities.

Abstract

The present study aims to unearth the contribution by Al-Barokah Family Empowerment Service (hereinafter Posdaya) organizers to the promotion of entrepreneurship in the communities and to explore supporting and inhibiting factors of Posdaya project implementation in boosting the entrepreneurial commitment of Sekarwangi Village, Rawamerta District, Karawang Regency. Employing qualitative case study methodology, the research used observation, interview, and documentation techniques to collect the data. Results reveal that the role of the community organizers in general was carried out effectively. This was reflected in Posdaya management of four areas including education, health, economy and environment where learning motivation, healthy living, entrepreneurship and productivity are enhanced. Findings also indicate that the high motivation of the community organizers and residents is the most influential factor supporting the development. While the lack of early childhood educational staff, the lack of educational supports, lack of building capacity; the lack of capital and unorganized administrative accounting; the lack of healthcare providers, and the lack of facilities and infrastructure are the major obstacles to the education, economic, and health empowerment. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is the background for the more extensive development of online learning media used by education in the teaching and learning process. Media and teaching materials are crucial parts of the learning process, especially in online learning. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the development of learning media using WhatsApp and Android GIF animation on the subject of Body Anatomy can be understood by students. The research objective is to find out the development of media and teaching materials on the Body Anatomy subject using WhatsApp media and Android GIF animations. The research was carried out using the R&D method. Online learning media were developed through the validation stage by material experts and media experts. The attractiveness of learning media is based on small-scale trials carried out on 12 students and large-scale trials carried out on 22 students. The test subjects were carried out on 8th grade package B students at PKBM At-Tajdid, Cimahi City. So, the WhatsApp learning media and Android GIF animations that were developed received research in the interesting category and are suitable to be used as learning media for Package B on the Body Anatomy subject.

Abstract

The purpose of making this journal is to analyze how to be aware of the impact of stunting on aspects of cognitive development in early childhood so that we can understand the various impacts of stunting which are increasingly widespread and may be difficult to overcome in a fairly short time. The technique used is a literature review where this research focuses on how to minimize the impact of stunting on aspects of cognitive development in early childhood. By participating in this research, there are several types of information through journals, articles, guidebooks, newspapers and magazines that discuss the impact of stunting on cognitive development in early childhood and case study/literature instruments.

Abstract

The development of the digital era has had a significant impact on the local economy, including on Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) in Sukamulya Village. The research method used involved surveys, interviews and data analysis to identify the training and skills needs required by SMEs in Sukamulya Village. The results of this research present training program planning that covers critical aspects in the digital era, such as mastery of information technology, online marketing, digital business management, and other relevant skills. This research contributes to further understanding of training and skills program planning strategies to improve the local economy, especially in the context of SMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the role of human resources, the management process of non-formal educational institutions, and the obstacles to their management. The method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive type. This research was conducted at the North Sangatta Kasih Bapa Foundation. This research instrument consisted of eight people. The research results show that the management of non-formal education institutions is carried out through planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The management of non-formal educational institutions at the Kasih Bapa Foundation has been running well, although there are differences in the implementation process with other institutions. This does not reduce the impact resulting from the program implementation process. Meanwhile, the role of human resources in non-formal educational institutions is carried out through the process of designing, improving, managing, recruiting, and motivating human resources. The obstacles to managing non-formal educational institutions include teaching staff and parents of students. It is hoped that with a better understanding of the role of human resources, we can identify challenges, opportunities, and strategies that can be implemented to increase the contribution of non-formal education institutions to education and the development of society as a whole.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the students’ cognitive ability in the terms of reasoning which are relation to numbers and orders, and the application of learning that has not developed yet as what the teachers hope. This research is aimed to see how the early childhood can develop their cognitive ability by using picture card game. The type of this research is classroom action research (CAR) that has been done in three cycles. The subject of this research is early childhood as many as 16 students consisting of 8 male students and also 8 female students that age 4 to 5 years old. The researcher used observation, interview, and questionnaires as the instruments for data collection techniques. Then, the researcher analysed the data using qualitative method and it was also completed with quantitative analysis called as descriptive statistical analysis through percentage count. The finding of this research is there is a significant development of children’s cognitive ability in the terms of reasoning and numeracy ability. The development of early childhood skill in every cycle becomes an indicator where the result of pre-cycle to the children in development stage is 31, 25%. In the first cycle, it developed into 37, 5%, the second cycle increased into 43, 75%, and for the third cycle it became 56, 25%. The result of those all activities are that the application of picture card game can develop cognitive ability to early childhood. The use of picture card media will be much better if it is implemented with a various variety of game.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how to improve santri's motivation for entrepreneurship and to examine the impact of entrepreneurship motivation training in salafiah santri using a Problem Based Learning approach. The technique and methods utilized in this study are qualitative with descriptive methods. The research was done in salafiah pesantren in Cimahi City, and the subjects were six santri individuals who had previously attended training or had never attended. Data collecting techniques include observing, interviewing, and documenting. According to the data analysis, there has been a considerable growth in entrepreneurial motivation and interest in starting a business. From the research findings it can be concluded that conducting entrepreneurship training for students will significantly assist them in starting a successful business and increasing their confidence as entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of multimedia in learning English for students. The use of multimedia should be able to meet the needs of the students and can make the students easier to understand the questions during the selection and preparation of SPECIAL JOB EXCHANGE . This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study are (1) Design English language learning by using multimedia created by the teacher aims to help the learning process of students either short term or longterm (2) the implementation of multimedia can be done well. It can be seen from the active learning in the learning activity, (3) the attitude of the students in achieving the acceptance of the learning materials by utilizing the multimedia based on the observation is that the students become more interested and feel happy in learning activities, is active, and enthusiastic, It can be concluded that the use of multimedia in teaching and learning English for the selection of participants Special Job Exchange  goes well because it can make the students to improve motivation so that students become enthusiastic in the process of learning

Abstract

This paper aims to describe human capital development through education and training programs that facilitatie immediate workplace application of knowledge and skills by their graduates upon completion of the training. In more particular, this paper portray the implementation process of the Plasma model in Azkira Reg's sewing training management. The study employed case study to elaborate the management innovation used in Azkira Reg sewing training and industry. The informal interview, observation, and documents were data collection technique. The results suggests that plasma model:1) was an innovative training management where training and industry interlock to provide graduates room to implement their knowledge and skills in a plasma as their workplace, 2) empower the training graduates upon their training completion by managing plasma, and 3) provided opportunities to continue leaning and grow.
