Abstract

This study investigates the effects of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), inflation, and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on income inequality in Indonesia from 2010 to 2024, using the Gini ratio as a measure and employing multiple linear regression analysis on secondary data from the Indonesian Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia. The findings reveal that GDP has a negative and statistically significant effect on inequality (p = 0.0424), suggesting that economic growth tends to narrow income disparities, whereas inflation exerts a positive and significant influence (p = 0.0326), indicating that higher inflation exacerbates unequal income distribution. Conversely, FDI was found to have no statistically significant impact (p = 0.3910). Together, these variables explain approximately 41% of the variation in inequality, highlighting the importance of pursuing inclusive growth strategies, effective inflation management, and enhancing the impact of foreign investment on income distribution. The policy implications underscore the need for government efforts to promote inclusive development, maintain price stability, and redesign FDI policies to contribute more directly to job creation and strengthening productive sectors

Abstract

Vinkoo Jakarta Fest is one of the fashion and culinary bazaars regularly held in Medan by Vinkoo Event Organizer since 2019. This event showcases products from various major cities in Indonesia and even abroad. In 2025, during the Chinese New Year celebrations, Vinkoo Jakarta Fest experienced significant growth with the number of booths increasing to 300 from the previous 120-160 booths, even featuring booths from Penang, which influenced purchasing decisions. However, there was a problem with the prices being set at the same level without considering strategic locations, which caused dissatisfaction among some tenants. Booth purchase decisions are greatly influenced by brand image and price, where a positive brand image can increase tenant confidence in the quality of the event, while a price that is in line with the benefits encourages tenant interest in participating. This study aims to examine how brand image and price influence booth purchase decisions at the Vinkoo Jakarta Fest event, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative research method with data collection conducted through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 26 data processing program with a total of 100 respondents. The results of this study indicate that brand image and price partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase a booth at the Vinkoo Jakarta Fest 2025 event in Medan. The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) test show that brand image and price can influence the decision to purchase a booth by 67.9%, with the remaining 32.1% influenced by other variables not examined in this study

Using a quantitative design with convenience sampling, data were collected from 100 respondents through questionnaires and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results of validity, reliability, and normality tests confirmed that the instrument was appropriate for analysis. Simple linear regression showed a positive and significant effect of price on customer satisfaction, with a regression coefficient of 0.634 and a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.617 indicates that price explains 61.7% of the variance in customer satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of aligning pricing strategies with students’ purchasing capacity to enhance satisfaction and support long-term customer loyalty

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of work environment and work motivation on employee performance at Gunawangsa Manyar Apartment in Surabaya. Work environment and motivation are considered strategic factors that determine the effectiveness and productivity of human resources, especially in the service industry which demands high quality service. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 27 permanent employees using total sampling technique. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability, then analysed using multiple linear regression assisted by SPSS. The results show that the work environment and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. The work environment variable is the most dominant factor affecting performance compared to work motivation. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.901 indicates that 90.1% of the variation in employee performance is explained by these two variables. These findings emphasise the importance of managing a conducive work environment and implementing sustainable motivation enhancement strategies to optimise employee performance within the organisation.

Abstract

Obtaining cash from the general public through the stock market is one of the ways that businesses may participate in the capital market. In addition to generating prospects for stock exchanges in international markets, the capital markets in the ASEAN area provide new opportunities to investors in the nations that make up the ASEAN region. Specifically, the purpose of this study is to investigate the impact that fundamental considerations and systematic risk have on the values of shares that are traded on the Asean Stock Exchange. Purposive sampling is the procedure that is utilized in the sampling methodology. The population of this study consists of all of the retail sector firms that are listed on the ASEANStock Exchange. There are 121 companies in the population, and 23 companies are included in the sample. The findings of the research indicate that the return on assets has a negative impact on stock prices, earnings per share does not have any impact on stock prices, the debt to equity ratio does not have any impact on stock prices, the price earnings ratio has a positive impact on stock prices, and the volume of stock trading has no impact on stock prices. These findings pertain to the stock prices of companies operating in the retail sector.
