Abstract

The purposes of the research are: 1) to get some information related with work environment, compensation, organizational commitment and employee’s job satisfaction at Hospital “X”, 2) to test the influence of work environment towards employee Job satisfaction, 3) to test the influence of compensation policy towards employee Job satisfaction, 4) to test the influence of organizational commitment towards employee Job satisfaction, 5) to test the influence of work environment, compensation and organizational commitment towards employee Job satisfaction. The analysis implemented in this research was descriptive and explanatory analysis. The samples in this research are 120 grade III employees in Hospital “X”. The result showed that the work environment, compensation policy and organizational commitment have a positive and significant impact toward Job satisfaction. Abstract

The purpose of this researched is to find out how big is the effect of organization culture toward job satisfaction, organizational commitment toward job satisfaction and organization culture and organizational commitment toward job satisfaction, especially on the employee’s in the marketing, sales and distribution and manufacturing division in PT. Nutrifood Indonesia. The analysis implemented research simple regression and multiple regression analysis. The method of this research is simple random sampling, that took 115 employees in population and the number of sample were 90 responden. The data collected by using questionnaire and cultivated using SPSS 19.0. This research shows these following results: 1) Determination of organizational culture on employee job satisfaction is 45,3%; 2) Determination of organizational commitment on employee job satisfaction is 35,6%; 3) Determination of organizational culture and organizational commitment on employee job satisfaction simultaneously is 44,7%. Abstract

The purpose of this study is examining the effects of DER, ROI, current ratio, and exchange rate on underpricing of Initial Public Offering both simultaneously and partially. This study consist of two period, they are hot and cold market. The sample of hot market period are 42 companies while cold market are 25 companies. This study use Ordinary Least Square. The result of the regression shows that DER has a positive correlation in hot market period while in cold market period has not correlation. ROI has not correlation with underpricing either in hot market period nor cold market period. Current ratio has a positive correlation with underpricing in cold market period while in hot market period has not correlation with underpricing. Exchange rate has a positive correlation with underpricing in hot market period while in cold market has not correlation. For the simultan test, DER, ROI, current ratio, and exchange rates has a significant correlation on α = 10% with underpricing simultanly in hot market period, but in cold market period is not. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effect of firm performance, corporate governance, and shareholder payout on executive compensation by using firm size as control variable. Firm performance measured by Return On Asset (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Earning Per Share (EPS). Corporate governance measured by institutional shareholding. And shareholder payout measured by dividend yield. The research model in this study used panel data analysis. The samples are 121 non financial firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2007-2010 which is taken by purposive sampling method. Based on the correlation, the empirical result shows that firm performance measured by ROA, NPM, and EPS have positive effect and significantly to executive compensation. Afterwhile, institutional shareholding and dividend yield have no positive effect significantly to executive compensation. Besides that, the results indicate that company size is the major determinant of compensation Key words: ROA, NPM, EPS, Institutional Shareholding, Dividend Yield, Cash Compensation, Firm Size, Non Financial Firm

Abstract

Indra Sasmita, 2012 the influence of the product quality and the price on the purchase decision used car (survey on the consumer Melaju Raya Rizky Motor in east Bekasi), Thesis: Management Studies Program, Department of management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, in July 2012. This research aims to analyze and describe the product quality and price of a used car purchase decision making in the showroom Melaju Raya Rizky Motor. This study uses survey methods, sample, and a questionnaire as a means of data collection. The location of the research carried out at the Showroom Melaju Raya Rizky Motor at JL.Raya Kota Legend No. 8. Bekasi Timur. Analysis of the research was carried out by using the application program SPSS statistics (Statistical Package for The Social Science) version 19, to manipulate the data. The results of this research shows there is a significant relationship between the product quality and price on the purchase decision. Keywords: product quality, price, purchase decision

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to describe about product quality, product design and purchasing decision and test the product quality and product design variables that influence the purchasing decision of Adidas’ futsal shoes. This research used descriptive and explanatory methods. The unit analysist of this research are the consumers of Adidas at East of Jakarta. Total sample of this research are 100 respondences while the analysis tools that are used in this research are SPSS 18.0. The result of this research shows: (1) product quality is significantly influencing the purchasing decision by 10.7%; (2) product design is significantly influencing the purchasing decision by 7,5%; (3) simultaneously product quality and product design are significantly influencing the purchasing decision by 17.6%. The remaining 82,4% is influenced or explained by other variables that are not included in this research. Keywords: product quality, product design, purchasing decision and Adidas’ futsal shoes.

While data collection by using questionnaire and cultivated processed using SPSS 16. The result showed that: 1) Job characteristics has a significant influence on job satisfaction. 2) communication climate has a significant influence on job satisfaction. 3) job characteristics and communication climate has a significant influence on job satisfaction. Abstract

The purposes of this research are: 1) to describe the job characteristics, the compensation, and the organizational commitment, 2) to analyze the influence of job characteristics towards organizational commitment, 3) to analyze the influence of compensation towards organizational commitment, 4) to analyze the influence of job characteristics and compensation simultaneously toward organizational commitment. Population of the research is the employees of PT “X”, Jakarta. Samples of the research are 74 permanent employees. Type of the research is descriptive research and the method is explanatory survey. Descriptive analysis results showed: a) 49% total of permanent staff of PT "X" was not the realization the suitable of the job characteristics, b) 51% total of permanent staff of PT "X" was obtained compensation given by the organization was not good enough, c) 61% permanent employees of PT "X" has a relatively poor organizational commitment. The results of hypothesis testing: 1) there is a significant influence of job characteristics towards organizational commitment, 2) there is a significant influence of compensation towards organizational commitment, 3) job characteristics and compensation simultaneously having an influence on the organizational commitment. Determination coefficient score (R2) for X1 and X2 is 0.127, it means organizational commitment can be influenced by job characteristics and compensation around 12,7%, then other factors around 87,3%. Abstract

The purpose of the research are: 1) To know description for working environment, organization culture, and job satisfaction at Bank BTN (Persero) cabang Bekasi. 2) to test the influence of working organization towards job satisfaction at Bank BTN (Persero) cabang Bekasi. 3) to test tthe influence of organization culture towards job satisfaction at Bank BTN (Persero) cabang Bekasi. 4) to test the influence of working environment and organization culture towards job satisfaction at Bank BTN (Persero) cabang Bekasi. The analysis implemented in this research are simple regression and multiple regression analysis. The method of this research is simple random sampling, that taken 55 Operational Division employee at Transaction Process Division, Loan Administration Division, and General Administration Division, while data collecting by using questionnaire and cultivated using SPSS 19.0. The result of t test for working environment is 2.123, and the signification is 0.038. This shows that there is an effect between working environment toward job satisfaction. The result of t test for organization culture is -2.160 ,and the signification is 0.035 This shows that there is an effect between organization culture toward job satisfaction. The result of F test is 5.798, and the signification is 0.005. This shows that there is an effect between working environment and organization culture toward job satisfaction. The result of R2 is 0.182 or 18,2%. It means Job Satisfaction is affected by working environment and organization culture as much as 18,2%. Abstract

The Objective of this study were to examine the effects of corporate governance and leverage on profitability banking companies. The samples from this study is the banking company located in Indonesia are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2009-2012. Corporate Governance mechanisms such as: board of directors, independent commissioners, institutional ownership and managerial ownership, and leverage on profitability (proxies by return on assets). These results indicate that the board of directors have negatif and insignificant effect on return on assets. Independent commissioners have a positif and insignificant effect on return on assets. The proportion of institutional ownership, the proportion of managerial, and Leverage have negative and significant. The results show that corporate governance and leverage have simultaneously effect on return on assets of the banking company.
