Abstract

Curriculum is an important part of education and affects all educational activities. The main purpose of the psychological foundation in curriculum development is to provide a better understanding of how curriculum developers see students as subjects of education. Based on the observations that have been made at Modern Riyadhul Jannah Junior High School, teachers feel that student understanding is important in developing the Islamic Cultural History curriculum. The curriculum must be designed in such a way that students can understand the basic concepts in the history of Islamic culture. A curriculum that needs to be simplified or more abstract will help student understanding. Therefore, the use of clear language and structured material will make it easier for students to understand the material being taught. The researcher adopted a qualitative approach within a descriptive research framework. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results revealed that Riyadhul Jannah Modern Junior High School teachers have successfully developed a curriculum with detailed learning objectives that pay attention to the situation, conditions and needs of students. The teachers agreed that the management of students' learning experiences must be done well in order to match the set objectives. In this context, it shows that psychological foundations are important to consider when developing the SKI curriculum. This study provides direct examples of how psychological foundations can be applied when creating the SKI curriculum and provides suggestions for future SKI curriculum development.

In responding to the dynamic development of modern science, the Islamic worldview has a crucial role that offers unique perspectives and valuable contributions in initiating and shaping the direction of modern knowledge progress. The research aims to see how much the Islamic worldview has influenced modern science. The research focuses on the Islamic concepts, values, and principles that can be found in the development of modern science, as well as how modernization in an Islamic context can proceed in line with religious values. Abstract

The Quran, which serves as a guide for Muslims, is the most important education that must be instilled from an early age. However, educators need to understand how to develop a curriculum that aligns with the psychological foundation in the Foundation Phase. Since the Foundation Phase is a crucial period in human life, neglecting it is equivalent to preparing a fragile generation. Therefore, the researcher focuses on observing and analyzing this aspect to ensure that learning is enjoyable and meaningful. This research aims to analyze the implementation of Quranic learning from the perspective of psychological foundations. The study utilizes a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving direct field research at the Islamic Kindergarten Plus Prima Insani. Data collection techniques include interviews, document analysis, and observation. Quranic learning in the Foundation Phase can be effectively implemented if it stays within the psychological foundation, significantly aiding in the psychological development of children and fostering noble religious values. This, in turn, contributes to the creation of individuals who have a positive impact on society.

Abstract

Curriculum analysis in understanding the history of Islamic civilization is crucial in facing the challenges of the modern era. The material on the Prophet Muhammad's Da'wah Strategy in Mecca in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) curriculum is an important aspect, including the wisdom of the Prophet's preaching in facing major challenges in Mecca. This research aims to explore the Prophet's preaching strategy in Mecca and analyze the presentation of this material in the SKI curriculum. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The research results show that the SKI material at MAN 1 Cianjur covers the period of the life of the Prophet and Islamic civilization. Learning uses a variety of methods, integrates technology, and emphasizes comprehensive evaluation. The basic concept of the Independent Curriculum provides freedom and focuses on strengthening character. History of Islamic Culture (SKI) helps students develop a deep understanding of Islamic history and moral values. The Prophet's missionary strategy in Mecca is presented carefully, emphasizing monotheism, justice, morality and fortitude. The challenges of the Prophet's preaching in Mecca included persuasion, material advances, offers of religious exchange, insults, physical torture, boycotts, and loss of support. Even though he was faced with serious challenges, the Prophet remained steadfast and built a strong foundation for the development of Islam. This research contributes to the development of the Islamic education curriculum, filling knowledge gaps, and formulating solutions to optimize the SKI curriculum. Through in-depth analysis, it is hoped that more effective and relevant teaching methods can be found to inspire today's Muslim generation.
