Abstract

Muhammad Syahrur, a renowned Islamic thinker in the contemporary era, has made significant contributions in this field. According to Syahrur, there is no need to stick to traditional interpretations in understanding the verses of the Koran. For example, in his analysis of QS. Ali-Imran: 14, he suggests that the word "nisa'" should not be translated literally as "adult woman" because it is not relevant to the current context. Syahrur's research uses a library research approach and utilizes semantic methods. He introduced the concept of la taradduf theory, which states that a word can have many meanings depending on the context of the verse. Syahrur emphasized the equality of women and men, rejecting the notion that women should be treated as objects of oppression or equated with inanimate objects.

Abstract

Fiqh is an element of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum both in schools and madrasas. At school, PAI learning requires a time allocation of 2 JP, which ideally would not be enough to achieve learning objectives. But for boarding school-based schools, PAI learning, especially fiqh, gets its own allocation, both in the form of learning outside of school and in the form of programs in dormitories. The aim of this research is to analyze the fiqh curriculum, especially in boarding school-based schools, using a qualitative case study approach. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that the fiqh curriculum which is integrated with the school curriculum at Riyadhul Jannah Modern Middle School has more benefits than being able to cover deficiencies in learning allocation at school, the Islamic boarding school curriculum can also directly ensure the practice of fiqh in students' daily lives with the help of The supervisor or guardian of the room. The role of Fiqh learning in the dormitory, even though it uses conventional learning by reading the yellow book and the teacher explaining it, actually makes learning more effective and efficient because students and teachers have more freedom in explaining or raising topics related to deficiencies or problems in the field of daily worship. Abstract

The concept of education cannot be separated from philosophical thinking. Basically, the meaning related to the concept of education discusses human nature. Therefore, the development of education in Indonesia must be based on philosophical approaches. Currently, curriculum development in Indonesia is a hot topic of conversation. The Minister of Education and Culture launched the Independent Curriculum which is a solution to the learning loss problem that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Merdeka curriculum is here to be a breath of fresh air in the world of education. This research aims to determine the philosophical approach to the Independent Curriculum. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The research results show that the concept of a curriculum, especially the Independent Curriculum, cannot be separated from the philosophical approach to education. The philosophical approach in the Independent Curriculum is viewed from three approaches, namely the speculative approach, the value approach, and the radical critical approach. The speculative approach sees the formation of the Independent Curriculum based on the overall view, especially in the current good educational situation. The normative approach contains the values to be raised in the curriculum concept where the Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes the values of the Pancasila Student Profile. The radical crisis approach looks at how the Independent Curriculum is implemented in schools. It can be concluded that in forming a curriculum, consideration of educational philosophical views is needed.

Abstract

Tasikmalaya City is known as a center for embroidery industry which holds significant potential in the production of halal fashion industry. This potential is distributed throughout the city of Tasikmalaya with various motifs tailored to market demands. The halal fashion industry in Tasikmalaya operates at various scales, ranging from large textile factories to small-scale factories and home industries producing finished garments. Furthermore, the establishment of halal fashion industries based on pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) provides additional support, as the production process is often under the supervision of religious scholars, ensuring compliance with Islamic Sharia principles at every stage of production. This strengthens the aspect of product halal certification and maintains product quality in accordance with Islamic principles. To support the growth of this industry, there is a need for facilities that serve as production, promotion, and marketing hubs, especially for halal fashion industries, which have the potential to drive the local economy in the Tasikmalaya city area. This research becomes crucial when the management of the Tasikmalaya region is well-coordinated by the government with the support of private sectors, pesantren, and the community. Therefore, the author conducted a study aimed at analyzing the process of developing the potential of the halal fashion industry in Tasikmalaya City using the pentahelix model, employing qualitative research methods with a case study research approach. The results of this study indicate that the potential of the halal fashion industry in Tasikmalaya City can develop rapidly if all stakeholders collaborate synergistically, as reflected in the correlation among the elements in the pentahelix model.

Abstract

Nasr Hamid Abu Zaid is one of the most influencial figure of hermeneutics in the muslim world. Among his thoughts there are several pros and cons among muslims. What is quite well known is that Alquran is a muntaj saqafi (cultural product) and a muntij saqafi (cultural producer). He also interpreted the concept of jinn with a new understanding from what society had previously believed (demitology). This paper aims to reveal the concept of hermeneutics offered by Nasr. The  method  used  in  this  journal  is  qualitative descriptive  analysis,  through  literature  studies  of  documents  and  previous  research  texts.  The primary   data   source   is   Nasr’s works   and   secondary   data   obtained   from commentaries and several journals on Nasr's thought. This journal also tries to explain Nasr's main thoughts by first knowing the educational background surrounding it. So, the product of his thinking cannot be separated from his background, namely Arabic language and literature, which causes him to continue trying to explore the contents of Alquran by studying in detail aspects of its language.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how the effectiveness of contextual learning through social experiments can improve students' understanding. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach to see the phenomenon directly. The informants in this research were 12 informants, namely 1 fiqh teacher and 5 students at MTSN 4 Padang, as well as 1 fiqh teacher and 5 students at MTS An-Nur Padang. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation which is then analyzed by reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research prove that in general contextual learning through social experiments provides real experience to students and is proven to be able to increase students' understanding of the subject of jurisprudence, this can be seen from the fact that 80% or 24 of the 30 students in class VIII A at MTSN 4 Padang can complete the summative test with a score above the KKM, the same thing was also found in class VIII 1 MTS An-Nur Padang students where 80% or 16 out of 20 students had a score above the KKM, from this, it can be seen that after the students were given learning based on social experiments there is an increase in learning outcomes. From this research, the researcher concluded that creative learning will produce good results. Seeing as the main problem in education today is student boredom, this can be overcome with innovative learning such as contextual learning through social experiments.
